I had an AWESOME experience today at Lenscrafter in Bowie with Dr. Miller who is patient with me when answering. all of my questions about my vision. He listens to hear what I am experiencing with my eyes and gives great medical advice and explains the information.I was greeted by Carlos, the Store Manager, who greeted me with a very pleasant welcome as I entered the store and introduced me to my Eye Care Advisor, Asia.I explained to Asia my situation and she took it from there. Her advice and suggestions were on point. I trusted her judgment and can hardly wait to wear my glasses.Dr. Miller has a great team!

Initially my experience was a 0-star, but I came back a different day and had a completely different experience. Jade, Naomi, and Dr. Yi are absolute professionals and worked diligently to get my prescription fixed. Those three get a 5 star review, but because the first visit was so bad it really depends who you see there.

I had the most amazing experience purchasing my new glasses. I was greeted by Josué as soon as I entered the store. In a total of 20 minutes, I had tried on 6 or so different pairs of glasses and found the perfect frames. They were ready the next day!! This was my first experience like this. We took my son to LensCrafters in Bowie on August 22 to pick out glasses and were told they would be in by Sept 5. As of today September 15, the glasses are still not in. I have called multiple times and each time was told something different. Not one employee cared enough to look into the issue. I was told they were coming in from Houston, another time I called I was told they could be coming from outside the US and stuck in quarantine. Then I was told no tracking info was available. Then I was told they were shipping out of Georgia. My brother in law who works for UPS (the carrier they are using) investigated and discovered a label was created on Sept 2 from a facility in Georgia but it never went anywhere. I called today with that update and the manager told me oh yes we know that, we called and left a message. Meanwhile my 7 year can hardly see the computer screen for virtual learning. I am so disgusted with this place and their lack of concern or care. I cancelled the order and the manager said oh sure, no problem. I didnt even get an apology. Do not shop at this store, EVER!!!

Absolute worst experience with a lens crafters ever! The only thing good about this location is Dr.Apple. she was awesome! As for everybody else, the customer service was non existent. My husband had issues with the customer service so he calles and spoke to Allison, she claimed to be the manager, her service was great on the phone but when we got in the store, she was just as bad! Nobody in this office cares about the customer. They care about building the ticket. I asked specifically for certain things to NOT be on my lenses and low and behold i was charged for them anyway! Has to get that credited back when I went to pick up the glasses but only after I asked for an explaination of my receipt. Then, i asked for my glasses to be adjusted and instead of the girl adjusting the arms, she literally bowed the entire frame. When i tried them on again, I noticed that the frame was actually not even tight enough to hold the lenses in! I asked for them to be redone only to be told they will only come back the same way because we use a tracer that cuts the lenses to fit the frame I sent them back anyway. Got the new ones a couple weeks later and they still didnt sit right or feel right. So...I went to another location, about an hour away from where I live, and got yet another pair of glasses. Guess what? They fit and feel great, I finally found someone who knew what they were doing. It just took way longer than it should have. I will never go to Bowie Lens Crafters again and I will spread the work to anyone who will listen

I have been to this location a couple of times in the past 2years and always had the same outcome..Left out pleased and happy with my purchase I appreciate the high end frames they sell that are affordable for my budget and the fact they can make certain glasses in-house within a hour.

My experience today was overall outstanding! From the moment I walked in the service and care I received was perfect. The entire team helped me in some way! But especially Monchelle. She was so patient with me while trying to figure out what glasses I wanted. She and the entire team made me feel like I knew them personally. If and when I ever need to go back to Lens Crafters I will always go back to this location!

I had a wonderful experience with the gentleman who assisted me. He was knowledgeable, friendly and helped me find the best pair of glasses for my face and budget. He told me that it would take an hour. But, my glasses were finished in about 35-40 minutes! I will definitely patronize this location again.

They said they couldn’t adjust my glasses because of the type of frames they are even though one person there before has. Honestly only one guy there knows what to do when it comes to stuff like that.

I had a great experience. Ive gone to them about 5 times total in the last few years. The wait is sometimes a little long, but the staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable. They always go out of their way to help you and attend to you as soon as they can. Im very pleased.

TERRIBLE PLACE AND TERRIBLE PEOPLE! My mom simply just went there to get the glasses she had already bought FROM THEM fitted because they had not been fitted properly before. When they went to fix them, THEY broke them! My mom then asked if she could have new ones for free, and they said they could order them and they then had the audacity to make fun of her for asking because they were two years old. (Which, not to mention is BELOW THE AVERAGE LIFETIME OF GLASSES!) And they then tried to charge her 50% of the price of the glasses THEY BROKE! TERRIBLE PLACE AND TERRIBLE PEOPLE WHO SHOULD BE FIRED!

This place is incredibly inefficient. First they tell you to get your glasses there because they will be done same day, then they dont tell you why its delayed and today I had to call 3 times and wait on hold for 30 mins to get an answer.

Competence of the staff here is absolute rubbish. Everyone of them has little or no knowledge of how to treat customers or assist in a situation that requires improvisation.If you ever got glasses here without having to return consider yourself lucky.Businesses that want to retain customers usually try to help when a customer wishes to return glasses. Here the staff were the quickest to process a return for prescription glasses I got. That tells me either the doctor, lab or one of the staff screwed up something and were not willing to admit it.Ill take the glasses I got here because I cant read without glasses. But I will never come back. Absolute garbage.

This place sucked! The employee who worked here was terrible she had an attitude the entire time like she didnt care for her job. I was there for an hour just to do a simple lens exchange.

Scheduled an appointment for the mandatory contact lens class a week in advance only for them to tell me the teacher cancelled and their too busy for me to take the class today.

I enjoyed my visit to LensCrafters. The staff was polite and my optician was Dr. Keston M. Regis, OD. I found him very knowledgale and he readily answered all of my questions. I took advantage of the advanced eye imaging scan for $40. It was awesome and well worth every penny.

I went there to get glasses only, I had my exam done somewhere else. They sales people were nice and helpful.

There were 6 people in line with only one accociate working. Waited 2 hrs before I left and I was supposed to be next in line. The accociate was very kind. But this experience was UNACCEPTABLE!!! I wish I could give a zero for customer service.
