United Granite of Bowie made updating my kitchen easier than I expected. The staff were enthusiastic, friendly, and knowledgeable of each sample of granite on display in their showroom. The installation staff were professional, arrived on time, and did exceptional work. I plan to return to United Granite to update my master bathroom.

This is the place to buy high quality countertops! They have a huge selection, and their prices are very competitive (actually less expensive and easier to work with than Home Depot).So many places (especially the big-box stores) only have little square samples of the countertop. Here you see the actual slab youll purchase, which is a better representation of what youll get (since its the actual stone). In addition, once you are ready for install, they have you come in and tape off the sections of the stone you want in the orientation you want for each section of your kitchen.Chris, the owner, is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The install team was quick and professional.We are exceptionally pleased with our quartzite countertops.

We had our install on August 6th and couldnt be happier. United Granite has a large selection of granite, marble, and quartz counter tops. Chris was so helpful throughout the whole process. I couldnt be happier with the countertop for our master bath. I had a general idea what I wanted, and Chris took me right to the perfect stone slab. He thought a honed finish would look best with the other fixtures, and Im so glad I went with that choice. With a vessel sink and corner faucet, I was concerned about the faucet placement. Chris sent me photos before the hole was drilled. The countertop is beautiful. Chris was also very good about explaining how to care for the stone, and Im confident he will be there if I need any help in the future.

We came in confused and we left with great advice that looks really nice in our new kitchen. Their permanently sealed granite should give us maintenance free enjoyment for many years. Their prices are excellent for the quality of granite they provide. We shopped around a lot.

Great Company! The representatives are quite knowledgeable and friendly. I was able to personally pick my granite and position every part of project. A lot of companies measure your space for granite and bring back the pieces already fabricated. United Granite allowed me to decide which areas of the granite went where, which made for a dramatic impact in my kitchen. If I ever decide to get granite in another part of my house like my bathrooms, I will definitely use them!

Totally pleased with our final product from United Granite. Chris was very helpful with our selection from their vast supply of granite slabs. He has a good deal of experience in pointing you in the right direction. The measurements for the install were extremely precise and with Chris help we laid out which pieces of granite were going to go in what location. The install took 3 hours for a double vanity,tub surround & backsplash and a shower seat and threshold. The final product was just amazing. I was worried about several details but they were all handled beautifully. Highly recommended.

High quality service with a very convenient location.The overall quality of service (granite selection, scheduling, professionalism, measurements and installation) was much better than two previous granite jobs we have had done.The wide variety of granite made selection delightfully hard (too many pieces would have worked well and looked good in our home).Cannot stress the convenience of the location and the ability to walk through the warehouse and look at the granite yard right there. The other granite companies we tried had convenient office locations but granite yards that were 30 - 45 minutes away. The location made this an easy task and not a half day trip.

Process was made extremely easy by UG. Went to their show room selected a beautiful slab of quartz, when I was ready theyhad their guy come out make measurements on my cabinets and the next day I went and did the layout on the slab. No joke theyhad them installed in only a week. Was extremely satisfied with the whole process.

I just recently had granite added to create a bar top area for my kitchen and I loved the way it turned out! This is approximately the third time I have gone back to United Granite within the last year for various projects and I have been thrilled with the high quality end product every time. I am definitely a very satisfied repeat customer. Besides the accommodating and helpful staff there, they offer a vast selection with some absolutely gorgeous colors of granite.

I used the store in Elkridge and found the entire process to be really great. They were helpful but not pushy in helping us select the right style for our kitchen. The purchase process was fair and easy. We selected a beautiful cut of White Springs that looks very classy and fits very well with our home style. Measurement and install was very quick and easy as well. Their prices are a bit cheaper than the big orange and blue home improvement stores for class A and B stone, but why not pay a bit more for something with real art to it and select an E or F grade!I highly recommend visiting United Granite!

I highly recommend United Granite. All employees Fred, Mustafa, Tim was very patient with me and my wife. When we went there we & surprise there are so many color of granite in stock. Even more in Crofton Showroom. Chris was very helpful. Their suggestions and honest opinion truly made the difficult decision of selecting the appropriate slab for our project much simpler. I went in at least 4 times without an appointment and they are always made time for me and made recommendation for coordinated back splash and flooring. Once we made a decision, someone came to measure installed within one week. Installers also very professional!

I was a little skeptical walking into United Granite in Crofton - I was prepared for a high-pressure sales presentation. What a surprise! I was greeted by a smiling face, Chris Presley, who in his natural friendly manner, immediately put me at ease. When we were looking for granite to redo the kitchen countertops, I shopped around at quite a few places. United Granite stood out against the rest because of the superior service and design expertise provided by Chris Presley as well as Eric. We were trying to coordinate with a uniquely patterned tile floor which made choosing granite especially daunting. Every place we went other than United Granite provided absolutely no help in choosing granite that might go with the floor tile. They just motioned toward the slabs and we were on our own. United Granite was a far superior experience. On two different occasions, Chris spent over an hour with us as we walked around with a floor tile and he with a cherry cabinet door. He already had slabs in mind that might work so it really cut down on the painstaking process wed have gone through on our own.I am incredibly grateful for the design help because the granite looks absolutely beautiful in our kitchen and even flatters the floor tile. First time getting granite countertops, local place near me in Crofton Im a senior citizen so I didnt know much about the process.I called and talked to the sales person set up appointment to go in told the sales person I had white cabinets, they spent a good amount of time with me to find something I like I picked a very nice blue stone, they have so many to choice from all very nice, I had service set up and it took only five days to measure and install I also had plumbing done by them too, Im very happy with what I bought and would tell anyone that is looking for kitchen countertops to go here and speak to Mr Presley and he will help you find the right one

I am a real estate investor, realtor and property manager. I was thrilled to find United Granite. I have helped hundreds of clients with their kitchen and bath projects within the past 20 years. United Granite is the first company I have found providing the perfect combination of competitve prices, a helpful team and a large selection of many different varieties of stone including the hard-to-find exotics all in one location. The Crofton,MD location is huge and was also very convenient. Though not a requirement, it may help you make your slab selection if you bring along a sample finish color of your cabinets and flooring. You will quickly need to know your appliance and sink selection. I also recommend choosing your backsplash after you have finalized your slab selection.

We recently had a quartzite countertop installed in our kitchen and we could not be happier. The installers of the countertop and the plumber who installed the sink and faucet were friendly and efficient. They took care to clean up all debris and trash. Terrible experience. They refused to honor the coupon on their website to meet or beat any competitors written offer. They lied to us and were very unprofessional. If you can recall your worst experience of dealing with a car salesperson, youll know what to expect here.

This was definitely a 5-star experience for us. The salesperson was Nurdan, who appeared to be a very well informed and experienced professional. Initially, our aim was to purchase a quartz countertop. She took the time to show us options in granite and marble as well. The range of available stones was remarkable, and her knowledge of them was equally impressive. Although we thought that marble would be outside of our pricepoint, she was able to provide us with a beautiful marble slab that was within our predetermined budget, and more beautiful than we had imagined. Nurdan made certain that the work was done in a timely manner and attended to all details, including installation and care of the marble. She followed up several times to ensure that all our questions and concerns were addressed. This level of professionalism and expertise is unparalleled. My husband and I went to several different countertop locations and there was no doubt in our mind that united granite was the best option. Chris our sales person was very professional and very knowledgeable about each slab. Although, we were apprehensive about getting marble there is no other countertop that would have looked as nearly beautiful or close to this one. The location in crofton had many slab options that were displayed on the floor. Chris was very patient with us and I never felt pushed or rushed into our marble countertop selection. We ran into one hiccup that was resolved quickly and professionally with no headaches attached. We are over joyed with the high end look of our kitchen. The service was impeccable and we are very pleased with the service.

Our experience with United Granite of Crofton & Elkridge was outstanding! We were doing a complete kitchen renovation and I called Chris Presley of Crofton early on just to ask some questions about granite thicknesses and counter heights, Chris was very professional and answered all my questions. Months later, after looking at several granite sources, I recalled how helpful Chris was so we decided to check out United Granite. We went to the Crofton office and Chris showed us a wide selection of granite and we originally selected a St Cecilia slab for our kitchen. A few days later a tech from United Granite came and took the measurements in less than an hour. Then we went to see Chris again to make the first 1/2 payment and to approve the measurements, while there, Chris said he had a really good deal on a Typhoon Bordeaux slab for about the same price, we looked at it, we loved it... The thing is, with Typhoon Bordeaux, there are patterns in the slab that you may want laid out in a particular way so..... We went up to the Elkridge location and met Mustafa who did an excellent job (hes an artist!) of laying out our slab so the river like pattern flowed from the bar height countertop, down the backsplash, and across the countertop. About a week later, our countertops were installed by two guys who had obviously done this many times. Our countertops look excellent, we are very happy! Thank you Chris & Mustafa and the entire United Granite staff.

United Granite was great to work with. We went to their Crofton location on a Sunday and selected our slabs. We were amazed with the selection. They had marble, soapstone and other natural stones besides granite. We just wanted something durable that is why we went with granite. They came to measure after a few days. We then visited them again at their Elkridge location where the fabrication takes place to see how our countertops are going to get cut. Their shop manager marked each piece on the slab, tried to match up the seams as good as possible. They went over the final fabrication drawing with us, explained all the details. We felt very comfortable with their process. It took them about one week to cut the slabs, and polish up the edges. The installation took one day. Their installers were professional and polite. We would really recommend United Granite if you are looking for kitchen countertops in Elkridge MD, or Crofton MD area.
