Ive updated this review. I had the opportunity to speak with the district manager, who was very kind and apologetic. The nightmare employee who I dealt with is no longer there, thankfully. My account is no longer in collections.The only word to describe my experience here is NIGHTMARE. In early July, I reserved a storage unit online. One week prior to move-in, on Monday, July 5, I called Public Storage at Crain Highway and explained that I no longer needed the unit and WOULD NOT BE MOVING IN AT ALL. The employee at Crain Highway told me to call customer service. I called customer service and customer service explained that the employee at the Crain Highway facility needed to cancel the reservation and submit a refund request to her district manager. I called Crain Highway back and the employee said I thought they would say that. Yes, that is what I have to do. I will do it. Why on earth would you just not do the proper procedure in the first place? Why make me waste time calling customer service if you know the proper procedure?Fast forward to July 11. I receive a text thanking me for moving in. I immediately call Crain Highway. The same young employee answers and assures me that this is an automated message and that they are aware I did not move in and that I will receive my refund soon.Fast forward to August 19. I still have not received my refund. I call Crain Highway. The same young employee informs me that I will not receive a refund until I come remove the lock from the storage unit and move my items out. I remind her that I NEVER MOVED IN. She says well, whose lock is on the unit? I explain that I dont work there, I have no way of knowing who could have put a lock on the unit, and perhaps someone else rented the unit after I canceled. She becomes extremely belligerent and tells me that it is my lock and they cant refund me until I remove it. I am completely dumbfounded. I hang up and call customer service. They completely understand my point of view. They message the district manager and Crain Highway, explaining what needs to be done. They apologize profusely. The SAME young lady calls me back, even more belligerent than before, telling me I have put a lock on a unit at a storage facility IVE NEVER SET FOOT IN. I call customer service back, they message someone else. I receive a very apologetic voicemail and my refund immediately.Now it is October and Public Storage has sent my account to a collection agency. Words cant describe the level of ineptitude at this facility. I now have to waste more time calling Public Storage and showing them that they GAVE ME A REFUND on the account they now think they have to collect. Unbelievable.DO NOT RENT AT THIS FACILITY UNLESS YOU HAVE HOURS OF TIME TO WASTE TRYING TO HELP THEM SORT OUT THEIR OWN MESSES.

Was Looking For A Storage Unit and Drove past the location. Upon entering I noticed how clean and bright the property was. Upon entering the building I was greeted by Jah’nae at the front desk. I asked questions on the rates, climate control, and accessibility. She answered all of my questions professionally to help narrow down my search for storage.I highly recommend this facility

Made a call to 1010 Crain hwy and spoke with Jahnae over the phone she was very helpful in determining the perfect size unit for my things and I told her I would come in. She recommended a nice size unit to store professional equipmentI arrived at the store and was amazed at how clean the property and parking lot were. I entered and asked more questions this time I was greeted by Reagan, she and Jahnae both went over the storage sizes Nd pricing.Overall very professional I will be completing my rental very soon. Thanks to these two professional women. Public storage needs more employees like those two

Great customer service, and place is so clean! I went there just to see prices and a few spaces before I rent and I was able to walk around the property. The ladies at the desk, Jahn’e and Briana, were very helpful. Im sure I will be renting with them soon!

READ BEFORE YOU RENT!!!!!!!I just recently moved in under the first months special, a month is 30 days, so imagine my surprise being locked out of the gate 20 days after signing up. I would’ve appreciated thorough communications and I also did not appreciate traveling to my storage with boxes unable to get in. This review is for anyone considering moving into this place, ask them for the specifics so these types of things will be avoided. Especially during these times when merely leaving your home could kill you. I hope this matter is corrected for future tenants, but my experience would be zero stars at the moment.

They are in the midst of transition from changing from ez storage to public storage but that didn’t change the exceptional service I recieved ! I most definetly RECCOMEND!

I was not happy to find out that paying for a 10 by 12 unit, doesnt actually mean that EZ Storage will provide you with a 10 by 12 unit. But I was very happy to have Trevor in the office the day I did rent my unit. He is the perfect example of what customer service should be. Professional, patient and worked with me until I was happy. And the reason I decided to stay at this location.

This Public Storage that use to be Ez Storage is the worst. Laurie is rude and Fred the Manager are both liars to their customers then when the customer inform them of their lies they still act like they didn’t say what they said. Stay away if you have to...PUBLIC STORAGE IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST...so sorry to see EZ STORAGE go.

He was patient and kind with me, I had never rented at a storage unit before and he made me feel like family. He didnt rush me even though he was the only person working that day. He answers all of my questions. His area was neat and clean.

Had a great experience in Bowie after leaving the laurel location.. Friendly greeting, answered all of my questions and was consistent with laurel staffers. I thought I could get a better deal in Bowie, but it’s all the same. Great friendly, funny professional staff in Bowie too.

“Alicia” Is all I need to say — She’s awesome! Very knowledgeable and professional. Plus extremely personable. We decided to use this storage facility because of her warmth and knowledge. She made us feel comfortable that we have all the information we need and if we have any other questions she will be right there to help!

Please dont use them!!! Our storage unit was infested with mice droppings and urine. I had to throw away some boxes of how bad it was. They dont seal the back bottom wall which gives easy access for the mice to come in. As you walk thru the storage units you can smell them. They are expanding but not resolving the issue of the mice problem. Look elsewhere and find out what do they do for rodent prevention. Again go elsewhere and dont bother its obvious they care more about money than providing the basics in a storage unit.

Trevor is great! Very professional. And he was extremely detailed when explaining things. Trevor was patient and answered all of my questions. He gets 6 Stars.My complaint about the facility is there is nothing that I recall being told about to hold the door open when going to my storage unit. If I dont have someone with me I have to find something to hold the door open and that is an inconvenience and can sometimes be a challenge.

Bugs all over my stuff in less than 2 months. I teportrd yo them buy they were less concerned. They said I could see 1or 2, just put them in the toilet. I tried to explain it was way more, like a lot and I have pics to prove. They would not let me talk. They were totally,unconcerned, card less and was rude.

I wish there was an option for ZERO stars. Poor customer service all around from the store to corporate. I rented at this location for 3 years, each year the rent increased, again with no notice of why. When I was ready to move out, on August 1, I called and told the facility that I would be there before 5 pm on move out day, with no problem. Upon arriving, I was told I had to pay an additional month of rent just to get my belongings out, especially when THEIR REPRESENTATIVE misinformed me. I tried to escalate it to corporate and was met with a rude customer service manager, Erin Dickerson. No wonder I was met with poor customer service in store if she is the manager, she offered no additional support or solution, made no attempt to appease the customer and had the nerve to get smart alicky when I was not finished with my complaint; because I wouldnt let her talk. As a manager, you dont get to get an attitude with a customer especially since its not YOUR money being spent. You have the right to listen and attempt to solve the problem. I spoke to her professionally and I was not met with the same decency. Poor leadership, poor customer service.BOTTOM LINE: Take your money elsewhere, its too many storage facilities in the area to deal with this!!

This is close to home and the staff is incredibly friendly. 24 hour gated access, security camera all over, easy on, easy off to US 301. We recommend this place!

I see updates to the facility and I really wonder if every year that my rate goes up is because of these updates to the facility or if ezStorage is just being greedy and wanting more of my money. It would be nice if ezStorage would explain why the rate is going up.If there was another storage facility close to me that had a better rate, I would probably go with them instead of staying ezStorage. Just my two cents.

I am totally unhappy with EZStorage @ south Bowie. I have been with this place for four years and paid one time always. I was on travel and forgot to pay the bill and was 6 days late and they charged me $65.00 in late fees. Where is the company loyalty towards a supposed value customer. On my last visit I saw evidence of rodent infestation and also addressed this with the husband/wife team who resided there but was told it wasnt a problem until we allowed them to view our storage unit and they saw rodents nesting. VERY UNHAPPY WITH THIS PLACE. Take your valuables to another company that will appreciate your business.
