I had a great experience trading in my 2012 Sonata and purchasing a 2022 Tucson. I walked in on a Thursday afternoon and test drove two vehicles. We weren’t sure if we were going to buy a new car that day, but Corey worked with us to get a fair trade in and some other loyalty discounts. This is the fourth Hyundai we’ve owned, going back to a 2001 Santa Fe. I live the features in the new Tucson and it has a great feel on the road. Meagan Freeland in the service department at Jim Johnson Hyundai of Bowling Green, KY is the real deal. She delivers on their promise, Whatever it takes. In August my husband and I were driving from Dayton Ohio to Destin Florida with his elderly parents. Suddenly, just north of Louisville, KY the AC in our 2017 Elantra stopped working. It was 94 degrees out. We called the Hyundai dealership in Louisville and left a voicemail. To date, we have never received a call back. We then tried Jim Johnson in Bowling Green. Meagan answered. We explained the situation and told her we were about two hours away. She said, No problem. Ill let the crew know you are on your way and well be waiting for you. Around three-thirty, a half hour before closing, we pulled into the service department. After making my in-laws comfortable in the cool waiting room and providing us with much needed water she immediately had the car inspected. The compressor was the problem, but they didnt have the part. She found a compressor just south of Nashville, so we spent the night at a nearby hotel. Meagan sent a driver out at 6:00 in the morning so he would arrive at the dealership the moment they opened to get the part. She called us a half hour before the driver arrived back at Jim Johnson and told us to bring the car in. A little over an hour later we were comfortably back on the road and able to get my in-laws home without worrying they would melt in the backseat. We cannot thank Meagan enough for the care she showed and the service she provided despite knowing that we may never do business with Jim Johnson again given that we live so far south. But for all those who live in or around Bowling Green or even anywhere in the Midwest, I highly recommend the service department at Jim Johnson Hyundai. Ask for Meagan. Shell take great care of you.

This dealership always does a stellar job of working on our car. They are friendly and courteous. Also, they are really good at getting us in and out quickly. I recommend them highly.
When we first began the process, we were looking at night after the dealership had closed. There was a salesperson there who recognized us a previous customer. He stopped to see how he could help. We told him we were looking and that we had previously dealt with Michael Melton. After we had left the dealership, we received a call from Michael that evening where the sales person we had talked to called him to tell him we had been at the dealership. My husband and I were treated like family by our main salesperson, Michael Melton, and by the other sales staff during the process. Sales staff made sure to inquire if we had been helped and even provided their experiences about the car.
I am definitely a return customer. Treated like a queen..when trying out the vehicle I was allowed to not only test drive it but to take it to my own mechanic and return a day later or so. The sales staff Michael Tarrence Corey lewis, Ralph Willis just superb. Great personalities..non pushy..professional and my experience was made fun and the process was actually fast considering past experiences in my life from being an auto purchaser. Chase in processing was as nice as could be and patient with my ton of questions. I give a fat 10 out of 10 star rating 🌟 And too proper procedures for safety in this era of Covid was taken...huge with me..many thanks to all of these gentlemen 🌹

I went to several dealerships on Scottsville Rd. Jim Johnson is the only place where someone approached me to see what I was interested in. Super nice guy that was not pushy at all. I had a good experience, and will probably end up buying from them.

I had a terrible experience, starting with the looking process when our Salesperson kept calling my daughter a boy or referring to her as my son. I guess if you wear a hat and a hoodie, that automatically makes you a boy... Then, even with a check in hand they were unwilling to help me get into the vehicle I really wanted. This place is depressing.
They did an outstanding job of getting us in early and getting us on the road again. We were getting a tire fixed that split on a brand new (1 day old) Tuscon Limited.

I would not do business with this dealership if it was the only in bg. I contacted the dealership about an online sale for multiple vehicles that were listed and not in stock. Then finally one was, i was told it was on the lot by Jackson. Went to the dealership it was not available and was told it was on another lot to come back tomorrow. I received a text that it was on the lot the next day. I came up and it was not on the lot or couldnt be found was told it may be in detail. I text joe 45 minutes before arriving and still had to wait 45 minutes before someone helped me. The vehicle advertised was 10k+ miles over advertised. The guy helping me told me they use it as a loner vehicle when i was told it was on another lot. Vehicle in pure horrific shape! As a person in sales for the Navy if my product or how i treated customers like i got treated the Navy would be in poor shape to defend this country!! Worst dealership I have ever been to!!

Routine oil change was efficiently done, while I waited. I was not surprised when the service manager indicated the battery was showing signs of needing replacement; the battery was 5 plus years. This was first more than oil change indication by Jim Johnson Hyundai technicians in five years...they didnt try to sell me early replacement throughout 5 years...honest and quality auto care.

The big surprise is, he is the MANAGER of Hyundai, that what i have been told when i asked to talk to his manager or supervisor, so imagine the manager act like that .. what about other employees????
Based on my experience yesterday in attempting to purchase a new vehicle, I will NOT be using Jim Johnson in the future. They do not know their products and are clueless to customer service. It was my worst car shopping experience and they lost a sale.

We bought a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe in June. Steve Mink was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. He was very knowledgeable and didnt pressure us for a quick sale. He spent the time answering our questions and finding us the color we wanted with the extras in which we were interested. This was the most pleasant experience we have had in purchasing a vehicle. Bought my Wife, her new 2018 Santa Fe there it was our second our first one was a 2009. I just traded for a 2021Santa Fe she loves it. I also bought two truck there Both were used but great trucks 2014 Chevy 4x4 crew cab with 43k, I sold it to my son and bought a 2017 LTZ Chevy CREW CAB WITH 63K ON IT, I love my new truck .
When I bought my car at Hyundai, the staff was very kind and very helpful. They showed me every car that fit my description of what I wanted, and when I found the car, they were very helpful on making a deal. Ever since I bought my car, the service has been very quick and perfect on my car. I even got three free oil changes and tire rotations with my new car!
It really doesnt even deserve one star in my opinon, my wife and me bought a Lemon Suv! It was a 2015 HYUNDAI Tucson at 76,000 miles, within a month I realize it was giving me issues! They tested it and told us it was burning more oil then should, to come back in the next month and test it again. 2 weeks later after our visit the car stalled cause it had burned up a whole thing of oil. We had to wind up paying 5,500 our of pocket for a brand new motor, after 2 weeks it finally came in, but took them literally two months to install the motor. We just got the car back after getting a new motor in it and drove couple of weeks and it stalled again with a brand new motor, because they didnt install it right. My brother and law is a mechanic and said it had active leaks, but we was told it didnt, ort to see my drive way. Megan that works in there cussed my wife out on the phone also. Its definitely not perfessional! Im glad to see good stars from many, but wish I could say the same, they will never get my business again!

We came in on Friday evening to see Randy Miller. He showed us a car. We drove it, but it just wasnt the one we had our hearts set on. We left and just said we were leaving it in Gods hands. On Saturday morning my daughter said mom someone has called and I think you might want to talk to them. I answered the phone and it was Randy Miller again saying I have found the perfect car for you. It has everything you wanted on it. When can you come in to see it. I told him wed come after lunch because we were returning a rental and to be quite honest I didnt know if I wanted to go in or not, but I felt the Lord telling me to go and when we got there, he said, I have to find the car. He began to look and it was already in the service department. I am so glad we went back and we didnt even to look outside in the cold. All the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We will recommend everyone that we know who is looking for a car.We made a purchase of a 2015 Nissan Rogue. It is beautiful and has all the bells and whistles I wanted on a new car.Thank you for making this possible for our family.
I purchased a brand new 2020 Elantra because I was fearful of purchasing a used car. I didnt want to buy someone elses headache. Turns out, I purchased my own headache. I only had 2300 miles on this car and it broke down on the side of the road. The transmission went out. Now, Hyundai fixed it, no problem. BUT I was disappointed that it needed repairs after only 4 months. I know, stuff happens. Its just so disheartening to have your brand new car towed in for service. And then have to have someone come fetch me from the side of the road and drive me to the dealership two days later to pick up a loaner. I just expected better. Would I purchase another Hyundai at this point? Truthfully, probably not. Especially when you consider how many other brands of cars are out there. At this point, Ive made my bed and I must lay in it. But Im not a happy camper.
I had a dirty inside of my car and although they usually dont clean the inside they did for me I am handicapped but able to do most things but not my car. Very very nice people work at Jim Johnson Hyundai.

Jim Johnson is a great place to buy a vehicle, my salesman was Alex Hall and if I ever need a new vehicle I’ll be going back to him. While I’m there they treated me like family and made sure I was satisfied with my purchase. Never once did I feel pressured to commit like most car dealerships make you feel.

My 2015 Hyundai Elantra broke down and was pushed to the dealership from several blocks away, and the deanship looked at it right away. My husband and I were blown away from the quick repair and service from this dealership. I would highly recommend their service department over and over again!!!

I went to many dealerships in Bowling Green, to include this one to look at the Veloster N.I NEVER thought i would consider a Hyundai, but the N changed my mind.While at the dealership after experiences some oddly rude sales people, this hyundai dealership was TOTALLY different-I didnt end up getting the N, but for my next vehicle for the family i will definately be going back as research has shown me that Hyundai is MUCH better than i thought, and the guys who work this dealership are just so kind and helpful!I specifically delt with Mr. Melton, and i 10/10 recommend you go there and check out what they have to offer!

We came here to look at a 2014 Nissan Quest and salespeople were like vultures in the parking lot. We test drove the vehicle and it had a lot of interior flaws and wasnt cleaned well. The price for it was high and when we went in to speak with the manager he was extremely rude and had no desire of cutting us a better deal. So we took our business elsewhere and got a way better deal.

I bought a new 2019 Hyundai Ioniq from here in April 2019. The sales team were nice and friendly. After the sale I was supposed to get 2 free oil changes when the time came. He informed me in order to get that I had to show the voucher for the 2 free oil changes. I informed him I never received the voucher mentioned by him. He said it was put in the paperwork for the car. So I went through the paperwork several times and It was not there so I messaged him to let him know and he said without it I couldnt get the oil changes. I bought a 26,000.00 car and couldnt get 2 free oil changes? I informed him I was very unhappy with that decision and thats it. He never contacted me again to help on the matter. I figured at Jim Johnsons they didnt appreciate my business at all. Very poor business practice in my opinion! At this point Ill take elsewhere to get serviced.

I came to Jim Johnson in search of a specific car, color, mileage, and price after countless hours of looking on my own online through various big name sites over the course of several months; I couldnt ever find exactly what I wanted at a price I also felt was reasonable. The internet sales manager at Jim Johnson searched their much more extensive listings of cars and was able to find me the exact car I was hoping for, and at a price I couldnt turn down! They had it shipped to the dealership for me to pick up and it was getting cleaned and detailed when I arrived. I signed the already-filled-out paperwork and I was on my way, hassle-free.

There was a recall issue so I called Jim Johnson to schedule service. I must say my experience was wonderful!! Trish Coble was my Service Advisor and she was extremely friendly and knowledgable. The waiting area was very clean and comfortable. They went out of their way to get my service done in a timely manner. GREAT JOB GUYS!!!!!
