Granted the Camry had ALL the features we wanted, but it was working with Donovan who made the decision to buy a car much easier. His attentiveness and professionalism was impeccable. Where do I start, not only did I buy one car from them I bought two, my salesman was Donavon and what a sweetheart, so polite and thoughtful but then the entire dealership is like this! I Love my new Nissan Rogue but I love the payments more. This dealership really does watch out for you, excellent staff! Take my word for it, go and see Donavan super great guy! I recently bought a used vehicle sight unseen and traveled 1,700 miles to pick it up. Lillian and Kyle made the buying experience easy. I relied on their honesty and was not disappointed. If youre looking for a vehicle from a reputable dealership at a fair price, choose Thayer Nissan.
Salesman didnt seem like he wanted to help us. The used vehicle we looked at had grinding noise on the breaks. Told them we wanted that fixed and was told to take it down the street to fix after we bought it. Came back the next day to deal with a different person and the manager was rude. He told us every vehicle goes through an inspection before they put it on the lot. We purchased the vehicle and immediately had breaks replaced. Sent e-mail to the manager with photos and dissatisfaction and waited for almost 2 weeks for a response, but nothing from them. POOR Customer service!!! Dont waste your time.
Took my car which is 7 years old bought use 2 years ago in to get new tires. I had noticed cupping and it was time. Service manager, notified me of a buy three get 1 for a dollar tire event that ended next week. I received the 4 tires, an alignment, labor, mounting on Bridgestone for far less than the local tire companies. Rick, the service manager, has always treated me professionally and courteously. It is something I desire from a dealership, car repair place, whatever. To be treated honestly and professionally. As a woman who has to take care of myself and make my own decisions, I appreciate this level of service.

Very bad experience.t and my friend wanted to buy a car from this dealership, and tried to talk about the price. They told us the price can not be changed at all, like what you see on the label, it will be the price you need to pay. Then the manager told us “ if you can get cheaper go get it”. And the car we wanted to get is already stayed in the garage for 2 months. Bad experience, bad attitude and never come back

Called Thayer to talk about a small repair I needed done and set up an appt. for 5 days later to look at it. Upon arrival I was informed that there is a not-insignificant fee to visually diagnose the issue, and that once identified the service dept. was booked until mid-July. I understand that everyone is busy, etc., so I am understanding of the timing, but this is the type of thing that should be made very clear when scheduling appt. If you have an issue with your vehicle that needs attention soon, it isnt ideal to wait five days for appt. to look at it and find out that it would be another 3 weeks before service dept. could even conceivably fix it. No issues with the employees or service itself, simply disappointed that there was no consideration for understanding the customer point of view with regards to scheduling/urgency.
I found a very affordable and reliable Nissan Altima here and would buy again. John was very helpful. I would suggest anyone looking for a Nissan stopping by and inquiring at this location.
I havent even gotten a car for sure yet but really hoping too. I just want to leave a review for Donavon. I went a few places prior and have not had the great experience I did today. Donavon is very pleasant and not pushy. He gave me great options and told me alot of options for the car I want. I came home and told my family how awesome he is. I would send anyone to him. I am hoping to get the Senata I want and will update but either way a great experience. I drive by all of the dealerships on Central Ave everyday but went to Bowling Green and Im happy I did. Cant say enough about them. Update June 20, 2021. I got my 2021 Black Sentra from Donavon. I love love love my car. This by far is the best place to go. I have never had a easier experience as I did here. Donavon always has a smile on his face when he greets us. Gary my fiance was very impressed!! He said how great the experience and Donavon was. I took my leased 2020 Rogue in for it’s first 2500 mile service. They checked the tire pressure and topped all the fluids. It was done quickly and efficiently. Next will be the 5000 mile oil change. We will definitely be bringing it back to Thayer for this.

Ill preface by letting it be known we have never bought a new or gently-used car before. We were in the cycle of buying a different severely-used car every year or two and driving them until their wheels fell off. Literally. The wheel on our 2003 Explorer popped off and went rolling into someones yard. Truth is we never thought we could afford to buy something new and dependable so we never tried. That was until we came across a 2018 Nissan Versa Note online with less than 10k miles and a nice price tag!We submitted our info and Donovan reached out to schedule an appointment for us to come check the car out the next day. When we arrived, a nice man (I unfortunately cant recall his name) greeted us and showed us to a table we could wait at. He then made our daughter a delicious hot chocolate (which shes still talking about a week later). Donovan came out to introduce himself and move our car into the building so that we didnt have to weather the cold to check it out. He showed us the ins and outs of the car and when it came time to test drive it, Donovan went as far as to help my husband install our sons carseat so that we could all take it out for a spin.When we came back, Presley(if I remember correctly🤞) sat us down and walked us through the payment breakdown and explained everything in fine detail to us. He was actually able to get us a decent APR and payments within our budget even though I have zero credit and my husband has poor credit. He even rolled our tax and title into our total cost so that we didnt need to front that money on top of a downpayment. Very grateful that he was willing to work so hard to get us approved!I dont have any other experience to compare this one to so Ill just end by saying they have set our standards high and we look forward to coming back for our next car purchase and hot chocolate😊

Went in with 3 concerns : Oil and filter change, low tire pressure, and auto lights didnt seem to shut off. All 3 were fixed, but what I liked the most was they explained the problems and solutions.
This place is awesome! I leased my second vehicle from Kyle at Thayer Nissan today. Kyle has been extremely helpful in finding exactly what I want, and has gone out of his way to my needs. He reached out to inform me my previous lease was eligible for an early lease program. He took his time explaining the program, and was very patient with all of my questions (which was a lot!). Kyle then helped me to find the perfect SUV that was within my budget. He was completely honest and transparent throughout the entire process, and never too pushy. He even told me about a graduate discount program that helped me save big! The customer service reached a whole new level when my new vehicle was delivered to my home in Columbus, at a time that convenient for my schedule! After purchasing a 2015 Murano what I thought was dirt on the windshield was actually a chip. The service department replaced the windshield. That was greatly appreciated.Two other concerns were not fixed during this visit. The concern about interior heating and cooling calibration was not fixed. I’m unclear why. I will return.Additionally, the vehicle has a ‘chug’ feel or ‘cough’ feel when at low speed, under 20 mph. One technician said it’s a ‘drone —-‘ problem. He said it’s a Nissan problem that is frequently reported but there’s no fix for while the head technician said since he couldn’t recreate the problem he couldn’t fix it. I was told to bring the car back when it happens again. This was a bit frustrating.

Jeremy Drury is one of the worst people I have encountered from this company. He is completely misogynistic and every woman I have talked to who has been in contact with him has said he has tried to put them down one way or another. Be ready for snark remarks if you ever come in contact with this man. Maybe he is just cranky, but he definitely is unpleasant. Be aware of ever giving this man the time of day. He does not deserve your company. Would give zero stars if I could.
BBB here we come! 90 days and still no extended warranty information or cards. We have called a half dozen times and it gets us nowhere. Replaced tires 5 days after purchase turns out it was illegal for them to sell them on the vehicle in the state of Ohio being below 7/32. Emergency brake cable failed. Cracked windshield. A/C did not work. They took care of the windshield and the AC but we were told if anything else is wrong they have done all they are willing to do. Even though the truck was not sold as-is. We are contacting the BBB because enough is enough. The sales woman was pleasant but the rest of the staff are terrible. The gas light was on when I pulled out of the dealership. That should tell you something. I had to put for the e brake cable to be fixed inside the drum. 90 day 3k warranty huh.

My used car shopping experience had not been going well until we came here. I called to make sure the vehicle I was interested in was still available, I spoke to Kurt, he said he would have it ready for me. We got there a bit later than planned, were welcomed by a lovely lady, and just as he said, it was waiting for us. After our test drive, we made a completely painless deal and they washed it, filled it with gas and we signed all the paperwork with Adam. It was such a positive experience, that we asked for many of Kurts business cards and will pass them on to anyone looking for a great company to deal with. Scheduled an appointment took extra day because to busy. service estimate was twice other shops. had to take car elsewhere because of costs.
I bought an 06 Sentra that had sat for a while with a dead battery. I had replaced the throttle body, I tried to reprogram using the key method, it was better but the car still had an erratic idle in park & neutral. I explained the Symptoms to Nick Johnson, who was very helpful, he passed the info on to the Ford garage & they quickly reprogrammed the car & it seemed to run & idle correctly. Price for the repair was around $90 & seemed fair.
Kurt at Thayer Nissan was phenomenal in helping me out with my new lease. I went in, not really expecting anything, I just wanted to give it another try. They got me approved and got me a car that I never even dreamed of being able to get. And within my budget. You guys rock!
