Excellent local ski shop, the best Ive been to in southern Connecticut! Went to get fitted for new boots for my wife and I. We were blown away at the service and time spent to find and fit the perfect pair of boots. Bob, their master boot fitter, is a wizard when it comes to tweaking the fit to perfection. Wouldnt go to anyone else for such a critical fitment process. Prices were also very fair for a local shop and competitive with any online store. Look no further for your future ski shop!

My very-first Bike shop where I bought a Fuji 10 Speed. It was red with white seat and grips. This was a long time ago. But thanks to you guys, I have loved bicycles ever since. We also bought my first cross country skis here. Im 52 now and still have great memories. Thanks

Great store with a solid selection of bikes. After much research, their bike packages were the lowest in the area with better parts, add in free lifetime tune ups and the deal I got was unbeatable. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. Action Sports is the place to go!

Friendly atmosphere sums it up. If I am buying a water proof container for my phone or getting my bike tuned up every one is helpful and nice. Even got a free tune up on my wife bike that did not know we had coming. They had the record in the computer and I saved some money that I would have been happy to spend so we would have a good vacation on the Cape and the bike would work well.Now I need to stop down with my bike that I boutght there to get a tune up when it is needed. What could be better than that?A couple of years ago buying ski boots was handled with time and care. The most important thing is the new boots that are not rear entry was something i put off a long time since years ago skiing with the original Lang boots used to take the hair and skin off the front of my shins. Boy that made skiing a lot tougher than I want to do now. The new boots are great, comfortable on the bumps and groomers and as an older guy I appreciate being able to keep at it. So thanks Action Sports, you get the job done and easy to deal with

Nice staff and great store. Limited selection for bikes, but they do give you 10% off for life if you buy a new bike from them. Thats pretty damn cool.

I was never fitted for a bike as their comercials claim and my bike is too small. It felt fine to sit on I the store but until I was able to really ride it I didnt know. Bikes arent my profession.

Ive been shopping here for years, staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Im a year round customer with that is always looking for the latest product whether its a a new snowboard, boots, gloves, cycling gear. I recommend this Action Sports to everyone.

Brought the bicycle in for tune up and when I got home, I realized the shifters do not work. Maybe, fixing shifters is not considered tune-up, but would have appreciated at least a heads up when I picked up my bike. I live 30 milea one way. So, drove back few weeks after to drop the bike off to get the new shifters. When, I drove back again to pick up the bike, the store was closed for inventory and I was not allowed in. Nothing was posted on their website. Now, I will have to come back for the 3rd time to pick up my bike. And when the job is done, there is no phone call. I had to call to find out if the bike was ready for pick-up both times. I was always a big believer in supporting local bike shops, but I will be buying my next bike over the Internet, since the customer service will be poor anyways.

I recently dropped off my bike to have it tuned as part of your bike service. The people who tuned my bike only inflated my tires. My brake pads, the braking system, and the front derailleur were all off. Ive already fixed the brake stuff, and Im still looking up how to tune a front derailleur, it wont shift into the lowest gear.Normally I wouldnt care that much, but Im going on a few thousand mile tour and was hoping to be installing gear and not fixing issues that I hoped you could have taken care of. Ive always bought my skiis, snow boards, and bike stuff from you guys, and was planning outfitting my bike and bragging about my local bike shop on my blog, but I dont think that will be the case. It was just extremely disappointing.UPDATEIts been over week since I emailed them and they still have not gotten back to me. If anyone is considering getting a bike, go to Zanes. They actually tune your bike (my father bought his bike from them) and they actually care about what they are doing.

They just built a huge new bike shop off the front of the building. Tons of stuff, skis, snowboards, bikes, clothes; if youre looking for a full service ski and bike shop this is it.
