They changed the doctor and now the doctor is not in my network ๐Ÿ˜ก, and they didnt bother telling me that, so I ended up paying 100$ instead of the 15 I pay every year, my fault that I didnt check but I will never go back there again, and give your selfe a favor and stay away, there too many good provider near that area.

First of all I have and most importantly do not buy your eyeglasses from this Vision Center at Walmart in Branford. This is no reflection on Walmart because they are independent. I took my mother here 2 years ago and had glasses made. They seemed fine for a few months and then she noticed that the lenses were getting cloudy on one side. Also, they were supposed to be trifocals which was another fiasco and they were not.My mom thought there was something wrong with her eyes went back to her ophthalmologist for an exam and verified that the prescription in the lens was not the same as what they wrote for her. Also, there was no trifocal in the glasses that we also paid for.We marched back to Vision Center at Walmart in Branford and spoke with them and they said oh no you should check back with the doctor because we made them according to the prescription.Two lies, the lenses were incorrectly made with the wrong prescription, there was not trifocal and the lenses must be of poor quality because they had a haze over one side that created distortion and colors as you were trying to see.SO, DO NOT GO TO THIS VISION CENTER FOR YOUR GLASSES! YOU MAY NOT NOTICE IT RIGHT AWAY ....BUT IN TIME IT WILL BE COME CLEARLY EVIDENT THAT THESE GLASSES AND LENSES AND WORKMANSHIP IS WELL BELOW THE STANDARD.

Only reason I went there was because of the dr .She has retired and been replaced by a very green new one. Who, during my apt had another senior dr giving directions.Too bad

I took my prescription to get bifocals and reading glasses. A large selection of reasonably priced frames available. Optician was very professional. Happy with my glasses.

Poor Orienting Process was charged $198.00 for a diabetic exam not covered by my insurance but Secretary passed me into the Doctor without consulting if I were capable of paying itPoor Secretary Skills.When she could just assist me of having my endocrinologist referring my exam si that I could get reimbursed,No Option just Pay Cash!!!Do Not recommend it.Ask before you scheduleNot easy $200 on Covid SituationDoceyeBranford is called inside Walmart

Extremely disappointed in the lack of effort shown from the employees to rectify a mistake they had made.While I was purchasing my frames and lenses, the price was much lower than it had been in the past. The employee and I raved about what a good deal it was and carried on with the transaction thinking nothing of it. The next day I received a voicemail stating the lenses were not charged, and that is were the price discrepancy came from. I understand mistakes happen, and that is fine, the issue I have is the way it was handled.I was told I have to come back to the store to redo our transaction. Although they have all of my information needed saved into their system, and I dont mind providing my credit card information over the phone to them, they still insist I need to be present in the store. I work full time, am a student, and in the process of moving so I do not have any spare time to go out of my way to go back to the store. I had stopped at the eye center on my way out of purchasing items for my move out of convenience. It is not convenient for me to return to a town I do not live it to fix a mistake I did not cause. It is frustrating the problem was not found immediately when I pointed out the the fact the price was $200 less than what it typically is, but it is absolutely unacceptable to inconvenience a paying customer the way that this store has done.

Doctor was good. Get eye exam done here and get your glasses somewhere else.They dont accept most insurance. Billing is a nightmare.

Lazy doctors who are never in and cannot seem to do the basics of their job.So, I am trying to order new glasses online and just needed a copy of my prescription which I had lost. It seems like every time I call the Doctor is not in and for whatever reason ONLY the doctor can fax a prescription.Then, when I DO talk to a doctor, they forget to fax the prescription. I have already been through this twice and then the cherry on top is calling back because I wasnโ€™t faxed, only to hear that whoopsie, the doctors isnโ€™t in again.Do yourself a favor and go to a REAL optometrist!

Went there a lot through childhood, even now i still go. While service was good the last time I went including the check up, the only complaint I have was that the eye doctor at the time treated me like a child when im 21. It was annoying being talked to like that, but somewhat understandable if you think about it, since most of the exams are probably done to children who are nervous, so just stayed in persona. Besides that little issue everything else was fine.

Do not go here to get contacts I was told over the phone it was in stock had to drive over an hour only to find out they were out. I tried to get a different brand and they would only fill what was on my prescription.
