I see that there is no easy way for a customer to lavish praise on your best employees, via your website, so Ill give this method a shot, by way of a review.My wife and I visited store 467, this most recent Saturday, in Brea, CA. After making a selection we were introduced to your employee, Michele (762105), who helped fit my wifes frames and essentially processed our order. It was the interaction, therein that merits highest praise of her excellent, personable, helpful, witty, and most human customer service; Michele is a delight and should, in my humble opine, be the model from which your new standard might emerge.Michele, rather unexpectedly, treated my wife and I to one of the most pleasurable and civil transactions weve ever sat through.I could go on and give you the minutiae of every passing second but I think I can simply say that Michele is an absolute star in your organization - I rarely give recommendations in this fashion. Its also rare, in these days of disengaged, cookie cutter customer service with a grin that you get to meet a wonderfully engaging persona that actually makes you want to return to the store, one who creates loyalty with her emotional intelligence: Michele has achieved that magic.I hope that someone really reads this and makes sure this lady gets her due recognition and I hope to hear of how you did so, if you dont mind.We are LensCrafters converts thanks to her.

Such a rip off. I went for an eye exam in the hopes of getting new glasses. I asked about contacts and the doctor offered to give me a prescription for contacts as well. Little did I know, that cost an extra hundred dollars. No one mentioned any extra cost to me at all until they were charging me for it on the bill. I absolutely do not recommend this place.
Went in today to get an eye exam after not getting one in 5 years. The gentleman who helped me was Luis was supper helpful by getting me the best bang for your buck. I went in there just to get the eye exam and walked out with 2 new glasses!! Thank you Luis for the great costumer service !!

I do not recall the names of all the staff members that I interacted with, but all were top notch! Store mngr, sales supervisor, both eye exam gals, and general receptionists.Ive been going to this location for years...my wife just also purchased a pair of Gucci frames and Oakley sunglasses.
This location has amazing customer service. I was helped by Cristian, he was very attentive and detailed oriented,he took his time to explain and answer all my question. Also my glasses turned out GREAT!! I will definitely be back!
My eyeglasses were bent from rough usage. Fixed it with a friendly smile and no charge. Now thats good customer service 👌

Edwin is so nice! I came into the store because my glasses fell off my face and snapped. I walked by the store and thought I would give Lens Crafters a try. I was immediately greeted by Edwin and he helped me after I explained my situation. He did warn me that it might break more but he could try. I took the risk and I am so glad I did!! My glasses are as good as new and was also given a nice clean wipe over the lenses!Thank you Edwin!

They fixed my beautiful sunglasses in less then 5 mins!!! These are my favorite pair of prescription sunglasses and was sad I thought this would be there end. The staff was incredible, helpful, and very open and organized.
Well, if you care about getting the correct prescription for your eyes... then dont go this place. I will list a few facts here.In 2020, we had the eye exam and prescription. However, when we got the glasses, my daughter said she feel very dizzy. After almost 20 days of adjusting she still refuses to wear the new glasses, I took her back. The manager didnt even wait for us to finish, she cut me off and said well, it take a few months to get used to new glasses. But my daughter is 13 years old so she know how she feels. But the manager still refused to do anything. I then demanded that they double check the prescription. Well, guess what they found out... They used the wrong prescription in the system. They used the prescription for my daughter in 2019!! So they had to redo the glasses. What if I didnt insisted? what if I believed this manager? Well, everyone make mistakes.. the problem with the manager is that she refused to believe the customer might report a problem that need address. She refused to at least try to help the customer figure out why. She never apologized about this error and as a long time customer of LensCrafters (20+ years), I decided to let it go.. But it happened again in 2021. Here is what happened...In 2021, my younger daughter went there. During the exam, the doctor said everything is the same as your current glasses so no prescription changes. Well, because I have protection plan so I told the manager that I would like to use the protection plan to get a new glasses (I purchased the protection plan last year). But the manager said, no your prescription changed substantially so we cant use the protection plan. you need to pay full price. I dont mind paying full price but the doctor did tell me that the prescription stayed the same. So I kept telling her the doctor said it is the same, multiple times. But rather than trying to see what is going on, she asked me to go to the front of the screen, saying.. let me show you.. the prescription changed a lot. I dont know what happened. Then my older daughter step in to confirm that the doctor did say the prescription did stay the same. Somehow, my daughter made the difference. The manager decided to have her assistant to go ask the doctor ( I am not sure why she wont listen to me.. I am not a native speaker but my daughter is..?). Then when the doctor came back, we know the truth... The doctor was NOT looking at the correct prescription. She was looking at the 2019 prescription when my daughter is wearing glasses from 2020 prescription. Note, we have all of our glasses in this same place for the past three years. So how this could happen? how the doctor would look at 2019 instead of 2020 one? Because they input my daughters name wrong last year!! I actually noticed it last year in 2020 and asked them to correct but they didnt. So as a result, the doctor was not able to pull the correct information. Well, again, everyone make mistakes.. but what happened after shocked me again. The manager insisted that everything is fine. even though the doctor was using the wrong/old information to compare, we should just go ahead to use the prescription. Well, as someone who wear glasses for the past 40 years, I know eye prescription is not rocket science. it is sometimes even subjective. The doctor will use the machine reading, compare with their information of the current prescription, then decide on the new prescription. How I know for sure that the doctors prescription is still accurate when I know she was using the wrong information to compare with? Then I asked to have the doctor to double check. the manager becomes very impatient. But after I insisted, she went back and talked to the doctor. As a result, the doctor, when comparing against my daughters correct prescription had to made big adjustment to her new prescription (from like 150 to 100, etc). Imagine if I followed her advise and didnt have the doctor check and just go with the first prescription? I would have damaged my daugthers eyes.The manager need some serious training…
Very polite ! And helped us right away, we went in to get our glasses fixed and they handled it well. My family has come back to them multiples times and they never disappoint.

The staff is very professional and courteous! They explain all the costs for everything before they perform anything. Dr. Kim and Dr Shu were both very nice and accommodating! They have many brands in stock. They offer you practical options and also mention premium options giving you a wide variety to choose from. I had lost all my paperwork while walking in the mall and they were able to reprint everything in a few minutes. Will definitely be coming back for my yearly visit.

I have been wearing glasses and contacts for over 30 years and I have had my share of optometrists I have worked with. Some good, some bad, but Dr. Shu is easily the best I have worked with. So patient and thorough. When they flip the lens and ask 1 or 2, sometimes I cant even tell the difference. She actually took the time to explain and patiently wait for my response. Shes awesome!!!!
I have been going here for my annual exam for the past 3 years. They have been super helpful and super patient with me. They have a great selection of frames too from very basic to high fashion even though I am more middle of the road. I couldnt be more happy with the doctor and opticians.
Exceptional service
Extremely bad experience. I bought contact lenses. I received daily-lenses instead of monthly lenses, meaning that I paid for a year of lenses when I received for less than 2 weeks. I also received the wrong prescription for one eye. I contacted LensCrafters and they told me that they would send me new lenses. I never received anything. I strongly not recommend to buy from this company unless you want to lose your money.

So went to get my check up that went great doctor is GREAT so I picked out a pair of sun glasses and a regular every day pair said that the sun glasses would be done in an hour and a half went back about 2 hours later lady at front desk didnt even know whats going on went to the back and came back told me that it would be another 30 mins and that I would receive a text when ready very rude not caring that I was waiting for 2 hours with 2 kids a 2 and 3 year old wouldnt have care but they where just like thats that owe well could have told me that they would have been done today I would have been fine coming back is the next day still have not got a call nor text saying that they are ready really disappointed not only that I didnt get my glasses as promised same day but that staff didnt care wouldnt recommend coming here total disappointment

I wish I could give 0 stars. Went in to buy glasses twice and was completely ignored both times. Both times I spent time trying on glasses and walking around the store and we were not even acknowledged with a hello. I understand if you are busy but at least acknowledge when a customer comes in. Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice shame on you. I will not be returning.

Horrible non-assisting workers, blonde mature female manager really bad. I asked her for the price of progressive lenses w/o frame and she told me 500.00. I went to Americas Best Optical in Brea and the lenses were 125. with UV, AR, Digital Image and Tint for 125.00 with frames as low as 60.00

Lenscrafters was a great experince for me, before I went to Lenscrafters, I went somewhere where they gave me a bad prescription, and left my eyes blurry but, after I went to Lenscrafters they truely fixed my sight and now I can see perfectly.

I have been frustrated for months with this particular branch of lens crafters and Eye exam Of california.I had an eye exam in October and am still trying to get the proper fit for contact lenses. The doctor has been inept at keeping my record straight and solving my vision needs. They arent severe. I have worn multifocal for 4 years. All I needed was a correction in my vision. 6 months now and still trailing lenses. Additonally the quality of the lenses the company offering me is crap. They rip or tear while in my eye. I am just fed up. I cant even get a prescription to take somewhere else to fill because I havent been able to wear a pair long enough to be sure the vision is good. Ive had to wait 3 and 4 weeks at a time to get a sample set of lenses. Expensive. Time consuming, inconvenient, and inept. Find a local optometrist. Youll be better off.
Iris and the rest of the lens crafter crew took great care of me. Iam never dissapointed with this company. I would highly reccomend them.
