Im not an apple fan, so Ill be a fair a possible! I love Apple computers as long as someone else pays for them. Why? Because all three (3) Apple computers Ive purchased have had screens that stopped working within a 2 to 3 year period. Yes, they honor the warranty abs extended warranty, but I would lose a lot of data. Now Im here with a friend buying a new laptop with a trade-in and theyre telling us e have to return to backup the old computer that... wait for it..... The freaking screen stopped working... go figure, yet she wants to buy another... so my experience is NO WAY, Im not going to spend another dime on something that stops working within about 3 years.. yup, a screen problem... its her money, not mine!!! My HP and even Dell lasts longer, way longer than ANY Apple iPad or computer I know of that anyone I know owns...I guess this is how a company this big makes their money. They tell us theyll give us $210 for a trade-in, but when it comes down to it, they are now telling us she will only get $140. Can anyone say RIP OFF... LOUDER PLEASE.... NO THANK YOU, Ill start with HP and even Dell.... no confidence on my part, sorry.

I wanted to buy Iphone 13 pro max and made an appointment with apple brea store. I arrived 1hour prior and went to customer service. I told them I needed to buy IPhone 13 pro max and I am 1hour ahead of my appointment time. They told me to come at appointment time. When I went back at appointment time I was told the iPhone 13 max or pro can only be ordered online as its not available in stores. Thank you apple for making me wait 1 hour to tell me that the product can only be ordered online. Customer Services s bad

Came to replace my usb cord for the second time in two years, which I was told at the time of purchase that it was covered under AppleCare+. However, this time the employee at the genius bar stated that they could not except my return because my cord is damaged and that it does not cover accidental damage. When clearly on my AppleCare+ benefits it states it covers accidental damages. I told them I had came once and they exchanged it the first time, so why could they not do it this time? and she stated that it is simply not covered by AppleCare +. I then walked away and asked another employee and he said it was covered, however, he asked his coworker to help me since he was busy with another customer, and his other coworker also told me it was not covered! To me, I see no point in purchasing AppleCare+ then. Disappointed!

Justin was amazing! He helped me get in and out quickly. I was pretty indecisive about a watch band but he gave me all the different pros to each and let me take my time. I didn’t feel like I was being rushed or pushed to get anything I didn’t want. Thank you!

Was told by a sales rep that refunds/exchanges will be taken once the store FULLY reopens, and that I cannot do an online refund because online and in-store purchases are treated differently. So I did not bother with making an appointment and going to a crowded indoor mall at this time, or doing the refund online. I call today and they change their ENTIRE story and say refunds/exchanges were accepted this whole time and now my product is past the due date. And that I WAS able to do online refund this entire time. I just wish this store would set the policies straight and communicate better amongst its own employees rather than making customers suffer. Truly disappointed at this unacceptable level of service and lack of care from Apple employees.

Yesterday I went to apple Brea store and I wanted to buy the most expensive Apple Watch and a IMac 27inch and they still told me that I have to make an appointment to purchase, wow after being there? that’s absurd and very rude. Went in on Sunday, I was helped out my Chris with my broken iPhone. Super customer service, very patient explaining the process. I wasn’t expecting to have to leave my phone over night but I needed it fixed.Went back to pick up my phone on Monday, went in, I was told the phone wasn’t repaired that I was getting a new phone, ok fine. I waited around using their Wifi trying to set up the new phone. While doing that Carl came asking if I was ok and if I needed anything. He checked up on me a few times since I was there for about an hour trying to set up the phone before leaving.Carl = the best customer service I’ve ever experienced in retail. Takes the time to hear your needs. I had questions about the cases and charges, he answered them very well. Made sure I had everything ready to go. He didn’t rush me out of the store or was short with me.Thank you Carl!!

Apple Brea Mall is disappointing. Customer service is subpar. If you want to go and buy something off the shelf, you can’t because they require an appointment window. So annoying, I knew exactly what I wanted and they had it in stock but I couldn’t purchase it without an appointment window. Illogical. Well, they lost a sale.

What ever you do, Do not approach LACEY for assistance.I’ll explain why…, before going to this apple store location I called to make sure walk in’s were available Vianna the young lady over the phone confirmed walk-in’s we’re fine there would just be awaiting time. Which I was okay with. Once I arrived I approached Lacey, letting her know I was there to purchase a phone as a gift for my sister, I knew what I wanted and it should have been an in and out purchase. she then stated do you have an appointment?” I then let her know I called before driving down here and they stated walk-in’s were welcomed. She then stated well we are fully booked and can no longer take walk-in’s. I then stated well that would have been nice to know before driving out here. She had an annoyed face, like she was ready to go home. Don’t get me wrong I understand sometimes it’s not your day specially working retail. I didnt go in because there was an two hour wait since covid guidelines restrict the number of people in a store. Maybe I will have to check in with them and get that wait time before I shop other stores. Im apple fan. The store is very pretty. Its very modern I did like doing their learning sessions.

Wouldn’t schedule me a 63-year-old disabled woman on Wed. During the hour for protected class. Yet they had 20 youngsters in line. I own stock so happy the are busy. Then the gave me an appointment for three hours later that day knowing it would take me 30 minutes to walk back. Then they cancelled me. I’ll keep my stock but I used a kiosk vender to fix the phone.

I had made an appointment to get my cracked screen fixed and was paranoid about being late and got my time mixed up so I arrived 2 hours early. The took me in as a walk in, was seen within 15 minutes to hand over my phone. An hour later my phone was back in my hands good as new. They check temperatures at a waiting area outside of the store and require all guests wear masks. Plenty of hand sanitizer and alcohol wipes.

I ordered 2 i phone 12 and schedule to pick them up today at this store.I was there on time, but they wont let me pick them up and the reason is my driver license name doesnt 100% matched to the name on the order. I showed them my credit card which was made payment for and same name as order, but they still wont. theyre keeping say due to the covid 19, no store manager can explain why. they ask me to call apple, but its long time for waiting. its terrible customer service, so I canceled my order. It says they are safely welcoming people back but I’m not seeing much of the safety. It would be better to have temperature checks on the mall entrances. It was interesting seeing people holding on to the sides of the escalators by way of habit. Hopefully there’s some kind of regular cleaning routine but I didn’t see any mall staff cleaning while I was there. It would have been helpful if they had some hand sanitizer stations located centrally and around the food court. You really have to go all the way to exits to find them and they’re not easy to see. Given my experience that day, I’d say the welcome back sign is more for show than any real plan for the safety of the public. I’m sure they can do better.

Hi had a bad experience. When I got there I was placed in line, then the worker moves me to another line, and it was almost my turn they said that I was placed on the wrong line. Unacceptable!! They have no communication between workers one says something and the other one something else!!! They need to know what its going on. Then I told a worker there, what was going and instead of beingHelpful and understanding she was rude. They need to check on them and place workers with good customer service.

Bad service. I made an appointment to see an iPhone 12 pro max. The employee at the front where they take your temp took down all the specific things I wanted on the phone from gigabytes to carrier to color and stated he would reserve it for me. I show up for my appointment the next day and sure enough they have none in stock. Also, don’t go in if you want to browse because you can’t look at the phones without a sales rep staring you down from across the table. Overall poor experience.

Made a reservation to buy a new iPhone only to later find out upon the reserved time that I have to lineup for a 2nd time. Ended up spending 1 hr 30 min waiting. Other than that, the people are nice and its a clean location. Helpful and patient employees to ask for help if theyre not occupied.

Called the day before and was told get there early the next day, got my wife and 3 young kids up early drove an hour to the store stood the first in line for 2 hours just for them to tell us to go away, they cant sell us anything without an appointment... I went to buy 2 phones cash, no activation, no extra work for them, should have been a 5 maybe 10 minute transaction but I was turned away. Thank you for disrespecting our time Ill never spend a dime there again.

Very organized and a good location. We were able to get a coffee at Starbucks while waiting for a technician. The technician was patient and friendly. He was able to get my a wife a replacement phone quickly and transfer everything over. He gave her some good tips on new phone features.

Chris the technician that helped me was awesome! Let me start by saying that I’m a man with no patience for dumb, inexperienced, language challenged, bad customer service! I was at this store with a connectivity issue. Sprint could not solve it so I had my phone diagnosed. I didn’t have an appointment on Tuesday morning around 11:30 so when they told me it was going to be a 30 min wait I was fine! 45 min later I’m talking to Chris who I can clearly understand, super nice and extremely detailed at explaining every single step he was taking to fix my problem. He called Sprint and had me upload everything on my phone onto iCloud storage for $1 a month. This my friends, took about 4 hours no fault of Chris my phone was just very slow. He replaced the SIM card got on the phone again with Sprint back and forth with his phones and tablet like a mad scientist ! I’ve never have waited so long for customer service but somehow this guy watching him work feverishly, and helped about 6 other customers at the same time, kept me calm. I left the store with my problem solved at 6 PM I never seen this guy take a break! I took a couple of breaks had lunch etc... walked the mall while my phone was uploading. Note: Apple IS NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU WALK AWAY FROM YOUR DEVICE, well at the end of all this I just want to say Chris is an example of what customer service is all about. I can’t believe I was there 6.5 hrs and didn’t lose my mind! Thanks to Chris!!

He was so nice and helpful, it made me think more people like him would make the world a better place all around. I saw a customer by bunch of gift cards from them, finding out later that the same lady was scammed and yet Apple didnt do nothing they just took her money. I would not want to do business here. They dont care about you and they will make you wait as long as before you give up.

Joey and his manager really turned around my experience with Apple Store Sh*rritos. Granted the dust inside the phone is a known issue, they replaced my phone after a repair and cleaning did not solve the problem.If you want proper customer service and a team that takes the time to listen to you, go here. The staff are always friendly. Make sure you have an appointment if you are in need of support! If you are in the market to buy anything you can walk right in. Making an appointment is super easy on the apple website. The few times I’ve gone in I was helped within minutes of my scheduled appointment time. It’s also convenient to order something and pick it up in store.

Terrible experience. Ordered an iPhone 11 pro online and had a pick up time of 3:30 pm. I went to the store and after 5 times call customer care and 5 visits to the store and 3 and a half hours later I got told my order was still not ready. Ive been on android my whole life and will remain there. How can a company like this treat customers this way?! I went to the tmobile store in the mall and left with an ultra S20 is 7 minutes and 26 seconds. Everyone was kind but did nothing to help the situation. Seriously a waste of a day. Thanks for checking my temperature 5 times though was a big help!!!
