Visited this Whole Foods in March 2021 with my family. This place is clean has a wide selection, it is pricey yes but the quality is goo especially the meats. Couldnt get chicken feet anywhere here had it. I froze it and was able to make chicken foot soup with it July 3rd 2021.. My toddler he enjoyed it and it was good. My husband was right this place when it comes to meats very good. Alive Tavlets Ultra Potency for both male and female could only get it here. This is the one that is not 50 and over. Definitely will visit again.
Love this place! Great location with plenty of parking and friendly staff. Excellent selection of produce, bakery, wine and other fresh items. Havent tried their pizzas, sandwiches and other prepared foods, yet, but it all looks delicious. You can also drop off Amazon returns.
Clean and well lit, friendly and helpful staff, great choice and a variety of new and interesting foods.
Staff was super helpful assisting me with finding what I needed.
I dont go here very often, but when u do, its like shopping at a trader Joes on steroids. So many interesting and unique items available. Im always tempted, and always succumb to the temptation, to buy more than I came in for, to try new things, which is good, right?
Nice people there and many options and I love the store interior design a lot.
Well stocked. Plenty of parking. Hot food needs improvement quality wise.
A good place to meet a friend.Four stars because of all the spaces closed for COVID.
Super clean, very organized and big is what came into mind when I first came in. Unfortunately, they were out of stock with what we were looking at the moment. We did enjoy walking along the aisles picking up other ingredients. The cashier informed us that Amazon prime members get 10% off. Overall, a nice quick and easy experience 😊
Store is nice and clean, lots of organic choices, staff is always so helpful
Its a nice store. I guess the salad bar and hot foods sell pretty quick cuz when we got here there wasnt much left.
The store is so clean and have variety items, but if it is possible add some self check out please!
I liked whole foods before amazon bought it now its my least favorite grocery store to go to and theres never enough cashiers
I generally like Whole Foods as a market. I would have given this location 5 stars because they have a great meat counter with seafood, beef, poultry, pork, and lamb offerings. They also have a fully stocked salad bar, a pre-made/prepared food counter, a sandwich counter, and a bakery counter that all offer a great variety of meals and snacks. My only issues with this location are that the parking spaces can be a bit difficult to find on weekends and the butcher counter has one person (all others who have assisted me have been great) who is not helpful and becomes irritated when I ask him to check for certain items in the back. He has, in the past, refused to let me pick the cuts I want. When I asked him for certain short ribs, he said they were all the same and started to grab the ones nearest to him. I had to leave and come back and have someone else help me in order to get what I wanted. Besides that, this place rocks!!
This place is awesome. Stopped by for lunch and needed two batteries that they dont actually carry. Gabe went to the office and gave me two triple AAA batteries and thanked me for stopping in. Gabe should be commended for going above and beyond for customers. Lunch was good, but Gabe was great!!!!
Great staff, very helpful and courteous. Products Selection is limited as the store is not as large as other whole foods stores in the OC. It works for me though, convenient location and great Prime Specials.
Convenient and not too crowded. Consistent with the value and quality of other locations.
Great store. Love the produce. The sign about alcohol sales makes me laugh though and proves how stupid the mask thing is. I can spread the RONA when buying alcohol but if Im not, I have to keep my mask on. Lol.
Good service, friendly people and you can return Amazon purchases!
Came here to get ground lamb to make hamburgers 🍔. I love this store always nice and clean. The lamb was very good not gamey tasting. We ordered a pizza 🍕 it was very good. Everyone was very helpful. I got whole fish and the lady cleaned them for me. I got their raisin cinnamon brioche bread oh my goodness it made the best french toast 😋 my family loved it. They had chicken bratwurst that my family loved.. My son does not eat beef or pork and he only shops at Whole Foods.
Nicely organized shelves.Price seemed reasonable. They offer extra 10%off for prime member.
Enjoyed wandering around the store finding things. From fresh coffee to vodka, this store seems to have it all. The only thing is they do not have an ATM anywhere in the complex. Strange!
I have been to a couple of whole foods and this by far is the best one around. I love getting warm food from there to eat. It all tastes so good.
Always an enjoyed visit at Whole Foods. One of the few places I can get goat and sheep cheeses for lactose sensitivity. Great selection!
We got our Christmas dinner here and it was fantastic. We got the turkey breast dinner and 5 lbs of ham extra. Our dinner was delicious and reasonable. Thanksgiving we got a prepared dinner elsewhere, it cost more and wasnt as good. Whole foods for any other large dinners.
This is my nearest place drop off Amazon returns. The service people are really helpful.
Very clean, loved the produce section!
Expensive. Less variety. No staff around to help.
Lotta stuff. Went there on a quest for Eel River beer, and Proper 12 Irish whiskeyMission accomplishedTons of parking good prices
It’s a nice store with beautiful produce and fish! I always wonder, however, why a good percentage of the staff seem kind of like they wish they were anywhere but there. They are helpful if I have a question ... the atmosphere just makes me feel sad. And I love grocery shopping!
What can I say -- its Whole Foods. Its expensive and therefore not where I normally shop. Ive never gotten into Whole Foods nor understood the appeal, hence the three stars.I will say that they didnt carry what I went there for, and frankly, I was a bit surprised. They dont carry fresh, sushi-grade fish, so if you want to make your own sushi, youre out of luck. Youll have to go to Tokyo Central Market on Imperial in Yorba Linda, just west of YL Blvd.
It was very clean well kept the staff is very nice everything so nice a neat easy to shop it was my first time, but definitely wont be my last great job whole foods.
Good stuff here and some decent deals for prime members. I think the produce section is a bit lacking. The store was designed to be a community hub and gathering place, so in its current form it feels kinda depressing like most stores do now. But if you want upscale food choices, theres nothing else in the area. Worth a visit.
This place is fantastic !! They have the best looking fruits and vegetables Ive seen in any market. I sampled some of the salads and cheeses. OMG, they all had a home made taste. DELICIOUS!!All was reasonable prices. And they were all were freshly made. The store was very clean and the employees were all so friendly. Everyone had masks and employees wore gloves. I will shop here again.
Great selection. Nice people.
Great customer service at the bakery counter!! Thank you!!
The best bread and soup Ive ever had.
Oh My Lord, this location is horrible, as soon as we entered it was a foul odor, and the entrance is near their meat department, now I dont know if their meat went bad or what, but it didnt give me a feeling of confidence in shopping here at all, the produce department was a sad sight to see, well actually there wasnt much produce to see, and once you get to the aisles of the store, theres barely anything on the shelves to choose from, no vitamin supplements. I realized I should have turned around at the threshold. I left wondering were they trying to discourage people from shopping here.
Staff is very helpful, love their bakery!
Friday is pizza day so take advantage of it if you have Prime
Best place for produce. Worth the price.
Wait to get up to the counter was so long even though there was only one person in front of me, but the girl behind the counter apologized profusely and made me the most delicious Acai bowl. She was very nice!
I celebrated my birthday yesterday in this great place. I am glad to say that we passed a incredible evening and the restaurant was no doubt the reason for that fruitful evening. The stuff contributed in a lovely manner, the food was great and my friends were extremely pleased. We shall definitely visit again for more celebrations. thanks very much.
Good place to shop for organic food!
Awesome neighborhood Wholefoods. Hard to find parking though. Upstairs lobby closed due to Covid.
Everyone here is so attractive. But, even better, A+ beer selection.
The best Whole Foods In Southern California! No question about that. Its a newer location in nice borderline residential/ commercial neighborhood. Its in a brand new development of homes, lots of cafes and boutiques. Beautiful gated community of expensive new homes next to this shopping plaza. Everything in this Whole Foods is great - very extensive food bar. All very fresh. Super clean. They have a restaurant inside where you can order from and eat also by the wine bar. Upstairs area to eat is great. Beautiful outside patio overlooking Fountain. It had been opened not long ago and they continue to manage this beyond great!
Good store. Good selection.
Was able to find wild red snapper fillets.
Picture Sprouts but bigger.
Good quality products but over priced.Hopefully they put the cooked food again.
It is nice to have some to assist and recommend products in the store.Cashier went above and beyond her duties to locate items I was looking for.
Nice & friendly staff. Fresh produce (avoid midday weekends!!! If you can)
Marie in the back of the store(not sure what department she worked) was absolutely amazing. I called over to phone to ask for a specific item and she was very helpful. As soon as we got to the store and saw her...she almost instantly knew who we were. Thanks Marie for your great above and beyond work ethic. Also Christina at the checkout register...I dont judge a book by its cover but I do look for the most animated person at the register. Again above and beyond friendly and exceptional service.
They where out with siete almond flour tortillas 😣
Employees very friendly and helpful.
Whole Foods is not near my home. I go there primarily for their bakery. I love the French bread loaf. It makes great sandwiches, I love to dip a slice in a bowl of soup, and it makes killer cinnamon french toast for breakfast.
The one in Brea is amazing. Great organic selection.
One of my favorite grocery stores. So much choice.
Helpful service. Quality food. EXPENSIVE for chicken.
Mornings are very easy to get in and out. Lines can be a bit much in the evenings.
Their organic produce is the best you can find for a grocery store.
Always clean. Friendly staff, good deli
Why no curbside or pick up (like instacart) not getting out of car, they bring it to your car.I notice Huntington Beach location has pick up service why not here in Brea? I make purchases only to stores with pick up service is so convenient specially for this current situation (pandemia) awesome for people with low immune system, I love this store but sadly I cannot buy as often as I do to stores with this service. Management, corporate please help people with this pandemic addingthis service. Thank you.
Always excellent and high quality
Love the organic and grass fed meat
Small and doesnt have what I want. The Los Angeles store has more.
The newest, cleanest Wholefoods market in Greater LA and Orange County. We live nearby and we go here every week. The Bar is nice and clean, people are talking with each other and familia hanging out in the market on Saturday and Sunday. Its not only a supermarket but also a neighborhood relaxing hub. You got sitting area outside of the market, its good to grab a cup of coffee and people watching in the sitting area. Staff and service are awesome. They are always smiling, they feel good to show me the groceries that Im looking for. There are plenty of hot food choices in the deli area. Please bring back The Jambalaya Soup !!! Please !!! 5-star wholefoods market, no doubt.
Clean and well organized store friendly staff members
Lots of great choices for food and groceries. Quality is great
The store has definitely improved! They have free treats for kids at the check out line! This is an awesome little perk! They now offer the Whole Foods app! The app links up to your amazon prime membership which will give you discounts every time you shop at Whole Foods! I like shopping here! I love the customer service, it’s outstanding!
Good selection
Been traveling in the county and only thing better than being home, is going to Whole Foods!
Dont panic& eat organic
Whole Foods rocks. Build more of em, please.
Nice store. Nice people. A lot of their food contains canola oil. I would prefer they use olive oil.
Love this store, large selection of great foods. I enjoy shopping in this store. Clean environment
Very nice, clean and well stocked location. We really liked the diversity of selections in all their departments. When Im in the area I will definitely go back. They are pricier than other grocery stores, but their quality is very good.
Little pricy but, everything is is amazing. And everything speaking fresh.
I have always enjoyed shopping at Whole Foods and ever since Amazon took over, they have really stepped up their game. The prices have all been slashed. You end up paying as lot less for non GMO organic products. What else do you need? And they have a deck for self serve food, various different cuisine options; just walking by it feels incredible. The smells are so good. The food is equally awesome. They also have an amazing juice bar. If you are into juicing, you are in for a treat!! If you are not into juicing but like the occasional fresh juice, you are in for a bigger treat. And like someone else mentioned, they also have a really good selection of beers.I drive 20 miles just to shop at this location. Its so good!!
I went to Whole Foods for the first time today to get two items: coffee and oatmeal. I brought my own jars to fill (to reduce plastic and paper waste) and it was super easy. I walked up to the Customer Service desk, they weighed the jars I brought and I noted the weights in my phone.I went to fill one with oatmeal until I realized the binned stuff was all potentially cross contaminated with peanuts / nuts. Allergies beware! I opted to just get coffee. I filled up my jar, poured it in the grinder and hit start. Youll need to use a paper bag to push the lever in the back down so the machine knows youre ready to receive the grounds.I then checked out, and it was all very low cost and it was nice knowing I didnt create any new waste. Whole Foods is the future. I will definitely be coming back!
This is the first grocery store that one can really get excited about. First of all, the store is beautiful. Well laid out and nice, well lit, high ceilings. The staff so far have all been very nice and welcoming. The produce all looks as if it was handpicked for perfection. Unfortunately for me, the bananas were all already ripe so I did not purchase any. Sale prices make many of the items comparable in price to any other store. If you find the meats to be a bit on the high side one must remember that these goods are sourced from sustainable grass fed stock and are not your run of the mill animals. It’s what my wife refers to as “happy meat”. Personally I think it’s a good thing to buy and consume less meat anyway. So buy some but just don’t buy as much as you used to and treat yourself to much healthier food.
Im so glad we finally have whole foods nearby. This was this first I had been in and Im very impressed. They have an amazing selection of healthy foods and an incredibly friendly staff. I love their selection of organic beers. And theyre prosciutto pizza was hands down the best pizza Ive ever had in my life. The restaurant and bar inside looks good too but I havent tried that yet.
Such and EXCELLENT store. The prices may be a little high but it is totally worth it. The employees are willing to help/serve you with what ever you need help with. Plus this store has a second level where you can sit down and eat lunch or do some work on your computer. Everything here is NATURAL and ORGANIC! I am very happy that there is a whole foods close to me. If you are thinking of coming here just to see what its like or to buy something I HIGHLY recommend it!
This Whole Foods gets 5 stars for presentation. It is aesthetically stellar, beyond any of the whole foods Ive been in Southern California. The stations arent really anything out of the ordinary but the visual presentation is a quality experience. Its a big store with several areas for eating, socializing, meeting, which I love! Each area has a unique design style from woodwork, to red leather modern chairs, to edgy geometric gas fire pits outside. Theres a bar with a daily happy hour (discount on beer and wine and $5 bar food). There arent any restaurant stations like some of the other whole foods but theres the general prepared food sections, pizza, sandwiches, and smoked meats. Overall, a really great shopping and eating experience.
The Whole Foods in Brea has such a variety different foods for different lifestyles. I absolutely love how they have that cafeteria. You can really portion out the food that you want.Personally, I enjoy going here on during lunch and on Fridays evenings. The picture I added is just an example of the food that you can get here!Happy Healthy Eating!
Absolutely love the bakery, ALL team members and managers!! They always take care of my crazy custom orders annd last minute requests!!Im also grateful to Lysa, Michelle, and Matthew for accommodating my pizza needs. Katie on the front end is a delight as well!!Superb Customer service! Thank you!
I love Whole Foods for organic meats & produce. Theyre more expensive than Mothers market for other items so I dont buy everything I need there...which is inconvenient. The check out staff is definitely a bit friendlier than a year ago with a few exceptions. But very beautiful grocery store for sure!
