Bought a T120 Ace from John. Above and beyond salesman. Didnt just sell the bike. I rode a 2011 T100 before this, so he took me outside to make sure I knew all the newer controls and features, modes, and even made sure I could get the bike up on the center stand (at 5 2, its harder than it looks). He made it all fun and easy. Bought the bike on a Saturday and he called to check in Tuesday (the first day they were open after Saturday). If youre looking to buy a bike, especially a Triumph, go see John.Forgot to mention, when we sat down to do our paperwork I asked about delivery. It wasn’t super busy at the dealership on this particular day. John said he would take care of it and disappeared for a few minutes. When we finished paper work and came back out onto the floor, John told me they were getting my bike ready to deliver, but wanted me to take a picture with it before I left. When we went outside it was already gone! “Well looks like it’s on its way. It’ll be right behind you on the freeway.” Sure enough, we pulled into our garage and got a call that they were pulling up outside. Seriously...ridiculously good customer service from beginning to end.

I called two weeks ago about a Speed Triple and spoke about doing a demo before I buy one. Today, I took a 30-minute ride out to the dealer and he denies me the demo because no one does demo rides in SoCal.. are you kidding me? We spoke on the phone and I told you I was coming down! I was really interested in buying one and my policy is, I dont plop nearly 20K for something I dont have any experience with! These dealer clowns are getting a TON of business due to the pandemic.. All dealers in SoCal are but If they had to sell strictly based out of salesmanship, personality and honor, theyd go out of business! AVOID THIS DEALER LIKE THE PLAGUE!

I came in looking for a cafe racer style bike and Robert over at Royal Enfield hooked me up with the Continental GT 650. The bike was a little too tall for me but Robert got me linked up with the service department to make some adjustments to get the bike perfectly fitting. The shop was also able to deliver it to my house once it was ready. Great recommendation, extremely helpful staff, and very happy with my new bike!

Fantastic bikes and the best deals in comparison to other stores throughout California. John was amazing and efficient when helping me purchase the bike. 5 stars for that part. Do NOT order delivery unless absolutely necessary as they work with another delivery company. Essentially, what you will expect is that they keep changing the expected delivery date without saying a date range from the very beginning which makes it difficult to plan with your schedule. In other words, you work with THEIR schedule. So make sure to bring U-haul or your own truck to pick up the bike.

I saw an ad on cycletrader.com for a 14000 bike on sale for 10999. What a great deal, right? It’s such a great deal that you can’t help but check out the dealer’s website. That’s how they get you to their site. That’s how they get you to call. The 10999 price tag isn’t the price at all, but everyone knows that. It’s a well known fact that there are going to be fees added to the sticker price at any dealership you go to. The amount of those fees and why those fees are added is good to pay attention to. Some dealerships inflate fees or even add bogus fees to get some extra cash, so it’s really important to examine everything on the sale summary. A freight fee is standard at any dealership. The cost to get the bike to the dealership has to paid by someone after all, and it’s common practice to have the customer pay for this. The freight fee So Cal Motorcycles was charging is $799. A freight fee is normal, but $799 is quite high. The next fee on the sale summary was a $599 fee for handling. Basically, it’s a fee added for the dealership to prepare the motorcycle for sale. $599 to prep the bike is a bit much. I contacted four other dealerships selling this same bike to compare freight and handling fees. So Cal Motorcycles had a combined freight and handling fee $550 more than the second highest of the five. There’s also a doc fee (pretty common) of $85 on the summary. Doc fees are bogus, and a simple Google search will explain exactly why you’re charged this fee (they simply want your money). A common reason you’ll hear from a dealership as to why this fee is added is because they have to handle the paperwork and everything necessary to sell a vehicle like dealing with the motor vehicle department, financing paperwork, etc. For whatever reason a dealership justifies a doc fee being added, the bottom line is that it’s there to get as much of a profit from the sale as possible. I could be wrong, but I believe CA has a limit of $55 for this fee. Some dealerships are cool and don’t even have a doc fee added to your final bill, but it’s not common to find one without it and even harder to find a dealer that will waive it. There were some other fees the government imposes, so no biggie there. Also, for some reason they were charging $54.88 (not tax, just marked up prices) more than the combined retail price specified by Triumph for all of the accessories I wanted added to the bike. The salesman said many many many times (like a lot of times) that they’re the number one Triumph dealer nationwide and they have the best prices and they’re the best around and no one is better than them, etc etc. as it turns out, they’re not the best and they couldn’t match a competitor. You can call yourself the best over and over again, and if that makes you feel good then you do you. Even after the fees, it’s an okay deal, but it would be an even better deal without the inflated freight and handling fees and the low sticker price to trick you and get you in the door. What truly prompted me to even leave this review was the fact that the salesman raised his voice and got defensive when I pressed him further regarding the high freight and handling fees and as to why they couldn’t match a competitor’s price. He then promptly hung up the phone. Every time I voiced a concern regarding price, the salesman’s reply would include that their prices are the lowest in the country and that So Cal Motorcycles is the best, as if I wasn’t told dozens of times already. Also, I was quoted almost 1200 for labor to install the accessories. I wasn’t told how many hours I’m being charged. To compare, the dealership I chose to do business with charged me 850 for about 8.5 hours.85 doc fee600 markup, freight and handling55 markup, parts350 markup, laborTOTAL saved, 1090But hey, So Cal Motorcycles, they’re “the best!”It was John. John was the salesman I worked with. John’s “the best” and he’ll tell you all about it.The day after I left this review I got a voicemail from Chris asking me to call them because they found a little bit of savings. Nah. John ruined it.

So. Cal. Motorcycles is a great place to buy a motorcycle and Jay is the man to see if you want to buy a Triumph. He sold me my 2018 Bonneville T120 and the whole process was like buying the bike from my best friend. Unlike the first Triumph dealership I went to, Jay went out of his way to sell me what I wanted rather than something they needed to clear off the floor, and he sold it to me at an excellent price. For that matter, the entire crew at So. Cal. Motorcycles deserves a big shout-out. Ive accessorized my bike with stuff from their parts department and had it serviced at the service department and the entire experience has been superb.

John the sales associate was indifferent and demeaning. Ive owned motorcycles all my life and Ive spent about a year looking at the newer scramblers, researching them, I had a Bonnie T100 the last four years. Called to do a test ride on a 1200XC, it was an hour and a half away from Temecula. When I got there the sales associate, John, told me that he had sold their only test bike, so I couldnt take a test ride. He kept trying to tell me what I actually wanted and steer me away from what I came specifically to look at. I was obviously mad since he hadnt called to let me know I wouldnt be able to take a test ride, but he took care of it by letting me ride the test bike they had sold-- shady. Before he let me ride he put me through the ringer and made me take a look at a purchase order, I said it didnt seem out of the ballpark ($13,800 OTD after an initial price of $10,900). When I came back from the ride he asked if I was going to buy it. I wanted to know if there was any room for negotiation. John said this was the best deal, take it or leave it, so I left it. Waste of time. I will be happily purchasing elsewhere.

His customer service was on a whole new level! He made me feel important and it seemed like his number one goal in life was to make sure that I had selected the bike that was going to fit and perform well. You almost never see this kind of royal treatment anymore! Jaden made me feel like I was the most important customer. He never made me feel pressured to buy. He made me want to purchase the bike after explaining how it was going to perform, how it was designed, who made it, and what the pros were. This guy is definitely a guru AND a master sales person. I will most certainly refer all of my friends and family there to buy bikes. Fair prices and excellent service. What a great buying and ownership experience I have had since I bought my new Panigale V4S at the end of February just a few months ago. First off I’d like to compliment Chris Evans for being the most professional sales person I have ever worked with when purchasing any motorcycle or car. I’ve purchased numerous high-end cars (6-BMW’s, 2-Mercedes Bencz, 1-Range Rover), motorcycles (3-BMW’s, 1-Ducati). Chris’ no BS, common sense, respect for the customer’s intellect, transparency, and plain good nature made the buying and subsequent ownership experience second to none. Thank you Chris !!Now for the bike...holy smokes it ROCKS !!! Great power and handling. The V4S is a powerful, athletic, nimble and sexy motorcycle. In the looks department nothing else even comes close. I’m 6’4” and the bike fits me well, much better than any other bike I’ve owned or ridden. I still have my S1000RR and the difference for me is like night and day. From the nimbleness, to power delivery, to the soul of the bike I just can’t say enough. If the bikes durability proves out I’ll be a Ducati rider for LYFE !! So far so GREAT !!

This dealership is about 50 miles from where I live. I purchased a Triumph Thruxton R from them about 5 weeks ago.I was back to check out a Triumph Rocket 3 GT a few days ago. After doing some research, I decided to go ahead with my purchase and asked them to prep the bike so I could pick it up around the end of the day. Since Im 5 7 I asked the sales manager, Chris, to put the pegs in the back position to accommodate my height. Relocating the pegs takes about 5-7 minutes to remove 2 screws for each peg and putting them back. So, I go to the dealer to pick it up and sign the documents. I see they charged me an additional half hour ($65) to relocate the pegs which is normally a part of bike assembly and prepping. I have purchased over 15 motorcycles so far and every dealer, regardless of brand, prepares the bike with the customers need, and they do NOT charge any extra fees to do that.I asked Chris to come to the financing office and let him know that it was unacceptable, that they should not charge me an additional fee for a part of prepping the bike to the buyers need. Just to clarify, that is not an additional part they installed, its just the location of the foot pegs. During the conversation, Chris the sales managers attitude left me speechless. After signing majority of the documents to complete the sale, he said if you dont want the bike its ok. I rode 50 miles to pick up a motorcycle (actually my 2nd brand new bike in 5 weeks from the same dealer) and their sales manager was willing to terminate the deal for half hour of labor. To be completely honest, that $65 was not going to change anything for me. But as a returning customer, I would expect more respect and a better treatment. Nickel and dimeing a returning customer is not only unethical, but also very unprofessional. Not bragging at all, but I ended up spending over $36K from this dealer in 5 weeks period of time and they were still after $65. I ended up paying the extra charge and I let them know that I would never go back to them for parts or service. After purchasing my new bike, I was going to buy more parts from them and use their service department as well. But I ended up finding out they would not even give me any discount for parts, because allegedly they had very little margin with my purchase. Honestly, what kind of a dealer does that??With that said, the attitude is what makes it or breaks it. And sales manager Chriss attitude actually broke it. Instead of trying to keep me as a customer, they valued their half hour labor cost more, which should not even be charged in the first place. For Triumph and Ducati brands, they have good selection. But unfortunately, I would take my business elsewhere just because of their my way or the highway attitude.

Went to service department this morning to get a recall service done on my Victory Cross Country Tour. Got there at about 9:10am when it opens at 9:30am. I parked my bike at the service curb & was second in line. I however did not know that you had to check in with Chad in a separate building until I spoke w/the customer in front of me. This is my first time taking my bike there. I had purchased my bike there & the buying process was great but never got it serviced there before. So I went over to the other building to check in & Chad said that he is swamp this morning and can’t take care of my recall. He said that he could “possibly” get to it in an hour, maybe. Mind you, I had called the previous day and was told that it would only take 15 minutes to do the recall. Plus, I had called in 2 weeks earlier and was told that they didn’t have the recall parts so I had to call back several times to check, hence a lot of follow up on my part. Due to Chad’s indefinite answer to whether he can actually take care of the recall, in addition to acting really overwhelmed with dealing with customers, I’d decided to not do the recall with this dealership after all. The whole experience leading up to today have been horrible. You can’t make an appointment but if you come early, it’s not even first come first serve like they say. It’s more like first come & wait until we are not overwelmed enough to fit you in. I will never take my bike in or do business with this dealership again. To the owner, if you read this please post clear signs directing customers to the other building for check in first. Also, if your service advisor can’t handle the work load, you may want to setup appointments for Saturday service, teach your employee organizational & people skills or hire more people. Just a thought.

I wasnt really in the mode to purchase a bike, but they had one for demo without me throw down paper work first. After I test rode, I really dug the price. And the bike was still on sale for a 2015 Street Triple R. The sales person a group seemed to be in good spirits while going through the purchasing process. But it was getting late in the day and by the time papers were signed it was a few hours before they closed. I was told they would deliver my bike that day. And after thinking about it, I had asked if they could deliver my bike instead and I would ride my new bike home. The sales person asked the higher ups and came back and told me yes. But sooner after the papers were signed, he said it was too late to get someone to go out and take my bike and they had some event going on at another location. He asked if I would mind leaving my bike and they would deliver it on Tuesday. I was happy to have bike in hand and said ok.Tuesday rolls around and I call to see when they might be bringing my bike. I spoke with my sales person and he said he would call me back in about 30 minutes when he found out more. Just near an hour he text me letting me know that now they wont be able to deliver my bike and starts asking me to figure something out to come get my bike. Here all they excuses start piling up, we dont usually deliver used bikes, we normally charge for towing, your last on a long list of bikes to be delivered and it continues on and on. And he said they could possibly get it to me on Wednesday. I am self employed and I had to work the next day and had no way to be here when they delivered the bike. I will admit the sales person tried to offer half measures to deal with the situation, but I was done. I finally rented a trailer and drove 88 miles round trip to grab my bike.It is sad that I had problems right after I signed my papers for my bike that the true colors of this place started to shine through. Ive dealt with unprofessional dealers before and could already see the signs of trying to deal with this place down the road. And to make matters worse, I found a scratch above the tank on my bike that wasnt there before. And all the sales person said was, I wish I could do more and I dont know what to tell you.If I hadnt enjoyed my bike so much over the weekend, I would have returned it, and purchased my bike from a dealership that wanted my business even after I signed for it. I asked the sales person to take me off any contact/maintenance schedules they might have.Every place and every person will have a different experience, and I hope for others that buy here, its a better experience.Just didnt think I would feel crappy after buying my first brand new bike. But hey, the bike is awesome...cant blame the bike because of half-hearted dealership.

Called them and said I wanted some work done on my motorcycle. They had done some work in the past and invited me to bring my bike in for a routine repair. So I arrive with my bike on a flatbed. They tell me they dont work on my brand. I remind them they have in the past and 2 days earlier they said they would when I called them on the phone. And they reply with, weve changed. No apology. No offer to compensate me for time and travel. No effort to retain a customer they had serviced for years. They lost me and hopefully you wont make the same mistake I did.

I had gone to a different dealer where i had a bad experience. Heard about So Cal Motorcycle and when I went it was nothing but outstanding customer service and professional staff. Kyle (sales rep) and team explained in detail all contracts, expenses and deals. After confidently signing for my new Ducati Scrambler contract i can say I can highly recommend So Cal Motorcycle to any one. Kyle and his team answered every question I had thoroughly. I left as a very satisfied customer. Thanks Kyle and team!

I would not encourage anybody to purchase any items from the store or any motor sport vehicles. Besides the fact that the customer service is lacking, these people try every way to take financial gain of their customers.I am in shock that businesses in 2019 still run with these type of practices. I contacted this particular business when I was trying to purchase an item for my Ducati motorcycle. Initially, they were very eager to help me; however, now I see in retrospect that they were eager to take my money. I ordered an exhaust pipe for them that cost well over $1000. They encouraged me to use express shipping that cost me an additional few hundred dollars. However, they never sent me a receipt for the purchase and they also did not send me a tracking number. After a few weeks of my continued calls to their business they told me the item had been returned back to them with no reason given from the post office. They then charged my card with the fees of return shipping as well. In the end I was left with over $300 in shipping charges and no part. All I wanted was a full refund of the part that was never sent to me. Instead, I was charged hundreds of dollars in fees.I placed multiple calls to the business and requested to speak to a manager and each request was denied. The individual who I worked with was named Albert in the parts department. There were multiple times when I called and requested to speak to a manager and the phone line was mysteriously “disconnected“. I requested multiple times for my invoice to be emailed to me and Albert continued to tell me that my email address was not working. My email address works every day and receives countless emails from other businesses. Finally, after weeks of calls I learned that the managers name is Jeremy Pritchard. Yet, I still have not received a phone call from him.In short, this place is dishonest, greedy, unprofessional, lacking any form of customer service, and taking advantage of serious customers. I am a member of a motorcycle group of over 1,000 other riders. I will encourage each and every one of them to be sure to NEVER bring their business to this establishment. All I want is a FULL refund!

I am waiting to see how they treat a good friend of mine. He just bought a used Victory from them and only a couple of days later it has major drive issues. Hopefully they back what they sell, otherwise it tells me that their pre-sale checkup may be worthless. Will update this review upon further news from them. Its a beautiful ride and hope they do right by their customers.

I just bought my first bike here today on my 2nd visit. I actually started shopping around a year or so ago. On my first visit, I experienced super customer service skills from one of the staff members. Hes name was Chris. Thats what sold me where I wanted to shop, a place with sincere folks that dont sound like they only want your money. I left my car there when I road off the lot. I wasnt able to return until several hours later after closing and my car was fine as promised. I might be a new rider but I do know super customer service skills when I feel it. Im sorry to say for the other Ducati dealers in southern California, Im only able to give you (1)⭐to (3)⭐⭐⭐stars...

Even truer story, just got back from picking up my Bonneville. Jason helped me out and it wasnt your typical dealership sales pitch bs, Talk about someone that enjoys their job and will go above and beyond to make the buyer happy. My lack of credit history blows and he made it happen! If Jason wasnt working at this dealership there is only one place else for him to go, and thats the law offices of Larry H. Parker, because hell fight for you!

Phoned multiple times about servicing my Royal Enfield, was passed on to multiple people each time. Was finally told to email Mitko with multiple photos of my bike (even tho I described exactly which bike I owned) but wasnt given the correct email address so it just bounced back, had to call again to get a live email address. Was never responded to. Called back multiple times to follow up on servicing availability and was told I would be called back. Never have been. Drove 160 miles to have someone who cares about Royal Enfield to look at my bike.

A great experience with the awesome guys at Southern California Motorcycles Ducati dealership. I took my Ducati for a multipoint inspection since I just bought it used. If you want to be treated respectfully with honesty and integrity, come here for all your repairs.
