Edit:Not happy, my cars brakes started squeezing literally a week after I bought it. The service light was never reset so my car is constantly beeping at me, and to top it off the finance department deliberately ignored me for an entire week. My loan agent at the bank gave me the directors phone number so I could get the information about my loan.The guys who helped us, Tyler (our sales guy) and Donald (finance) were both great! We work in the hospitality industry and were impressed with the level of service here. Tyler was extremely impatient with us being so indecisive, even though he was busy. Donald explained everything in great detail. I have never bought a car before and I left feeling confident and informed on my purchase. We will forever be loyal this dealership. I didnt think I would ever use the word genuine to describe a car dealership!My car came with maintenance for 3 years free of charge which made buying a Mercedes A LOT easier considering how expensive oil changes and simple maintenance can cost.Thanks again!

HORRIBLE! Haselwood? How about hasslewood because that’s all I got from this place. Brought my vehicle in for service and check engine light. Pretty standard for a dealership you would think. Just pray you don’t get stuck with Peyton in the service department. AS CONFIRMED by Volkswagen’s secretary/receptionist that I spoke with, this guy “doesn’t answer the phone, return calls, messages, or emails.” Believe me I tried for a week. He never ordered the replacement part for my vehicle and couldn’t be bothered to call me back to answer any of my questions regarding the service. Then I spoke with Daniel. He seemed to be a little more competent. Listened to my concerns and ASSURED me he would give my message to Peyton, because unfortunately for me, Peyton was my service advisor (fancy title), and god forbid someone else could help me. But if you recall the beginning of my story, Peyton doesn’t return messages or phone calls, but I bet he’s really good at cashing his paychecks every week. After a week of calls and getting transferred from sales to service to parts to financing because the customer service people couldn’t figure out who I should be talking to even though I asked for service every time, i finally just gave up on this dumpster-fire of a dealership. I never encountered an entity such as this with so much disorganization between departments and incompetence of its employees to get me to the right person or the help I needed. I would be embarrassed to work at this place. HASSLEwood Volkswagen! Where we don’t care about you or your needs…and it shows. 😉

Got a quote for a little over $1200 for an oil tube. I had it printed up from Hazelwood VW. Today when I call the parts department. They quoted me $91 and some change. I didnt get it the first time but since I need service I decided to try again here. Thats when I seen how much of a difference the quotes were just for the part. The others I did compare and here they charge way more for part than other stores. They also charge more for servicing it. Be careful of their inflated part prices. Especially if they work off commission. I did speak to the parts department and when I asked to speak to a service member. No one assisted me.

We started this new car thing knowing what we wanted in the car but without any preconceived ideas about models, etc. We saw a Santa Fe at another dealership and it looked like it met what we wanted so we headed over to Haselwood Hyundai. We were working with Cat Williams and she was excellent, knowledgeable about the vehicle and very professional and engaging in helping us through the whole process. The other folks we worked with were also very helpful and professional. Weve only had the car a few days but it looks like it is going to be a good fit for us. Highly recommend the dealership and Cat.

The service has gone downhill. I used to take my Hyundai and my Volkswagen there for service. I recently took my Volkswagen there for warranty service for the lane assist and the automatic headlight dimming control. The service technician performed the first diagnostic and realized that the problem was related to a windshield replacement and the warranty was void. Instead of advising me of the voided warranty the technician did a second diagnostic knowing that it was unnecessary and also related to the windshield replacement. I feel Hazelwood ran up the bill with an unnecessary diagnostic. Good customer service would have been to advise the customer that the warranty was void after the first diagnostic. The service advisor was supposed to call me to discuss the diagnostics, but she never did, even though I called her back and was told she would call back. I am also disappointed with a $24.30 shop supplies fee added to my bill. This is in addition to parts and labor. Was it $24 for the paper thet put on your floorboards? Who knows,it was never explained or justified. Hazelwood is not about customer service, they are about upcharging.

First I want to start off and say that everyone was very kind especially Don. BUT we waited 8 hours to sign papers...we were there from about 2 pm, left for 1.5 hrs to eat dinner, came back and werent done until 10:30 at night!! Than found scratches on our BRAND SPANKING NEW Atlas. They did fix that a couple weeks later - thank you but there still were scratches on it even w the expel. .. After we signed papers they misplaced some of them and we had to come back AGAIN to resign them. We ordered a remote start over 2 months ago, not one word from them since and Ive reached out multiple times with no reply back, THAN we waited for over 2 months to get license plates to find out they never were even sent to us and were at the dealership. -_- They really need to work on their communication, and organization.

Went to another West Hills dealer to look but they did not have what I wanted in stock but the sales person, Briyana, told me about the same car under the Hyundai brand. She brought over the car, which I liked. She told me that to the purchase we needed to go to the Hyundai dealer. There she turned me over to Brittany. Both ladies were excellent and I am now the proud owner of a 2021 Hyundai Palisade. Highly recommend Haselwood Hyundai and all the people there.

We (also) started with a True Car Price that we took to Haselwood Hyundai, that scored us a fantastic deal that other dealerships could not match, and our daughter her new 2020 Tucson AWD that was ready and waiting to go on our arrival. Kudos to Mike, Mike, and Barry for their pleasantness and courtesies extended to us, and made this vehicle purchase seamless and troublefree (as it should be!). Weve already received our $40 Amazon Gift Card for our initial test drive two days ago (wow!), and cant wait for the new car owners dinner they host in April. What a great dealership! We had the pleasure of being helped and guided by Tevin. He was both knowledgeable and friendly. Although we had a long visit (due to the traffic of customers that day) the superb customer service never ended. We were treated to a gift certificate to a nearby restaurant because of the lengthy appointment as well (which was an absolutely awesome place to eat and soak in the sun! *Boat Shed*). From start to finish the experience was seamless and comforting.Negotiated with Crystal before driving out to the dealership from Everett.Was greeted by Mike and transferred to Tevin.Enjoyed our long day with Tevin while we looked at our vehicle.And ended it all with Don in the Finance Dept.All associates were knowledgeable and honest.I will refer everyone to this dealership.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A FAMILY TYPE ATMOSPHERE AND A TOP NOTCH SALES STAFF, BUY HERE! I have been searching for my next vehicle for over 6 months. I just happened to stop by the Haselwood Volkswagen Hyundai on Black Friday for their sale. That is where I met the used car sales manager Kyrsten and sales associate Tevin. I test drove a couple cars, none felt right. However, what was right was the Top Notch treatment I received from Kyrsten and her sales team. It felt like a family atmosphere.... kind of like home. A few months went by and I was still searching for the right car. Wanting to take a look at a Toyota Tundra, I texted Tevin and he was no longer there but he set me up with the next best associate, Tyler! The Tundra was not the one, I narrowed my search down to the 4Runner. They finally got one in and Tyler and I took it out for a spin. I wasnt convinced it was the one yet... So, we parted ways and I went to a couple other dealerships local and across the water and test drove more 4Runners. I found a couple I liked, but I really liked Kyrsten and her sales team. They were patient and wanted to make sure everything was right. Thats what brought me back buy the 4runner. Tyler and his sales partner Max make an excellent team, just dont challenge them to a game of HORSE cause youll probably lose just as I did to them. We have bought cars from Haselwood before, so we knew exactly what to expect. We originally brought a car in for service but had been researching SUVs so we were using our trip as a fact-finding mission. We had our cars appraised and perused the lot, then test drove a Palisade. Catherine was awesome and didnt pressure us into a decision at all, but she was thorough in making sure we had the info we needed. She worked with us for two to three hours in a low-stress kind of conversation. We took the info home, thought it over and came back the next day. She greeted us like old friends and made the entire experience very comfortable. On the paperwork side, Don was a champ. This team is top notch. Thank you!

Took my Passat to Hazelwood for a couple of things. Oil leak repair and to put the headrests back in the rear seat. They changed seals and gaskets (~$2000). The headrests had been marked as done, but had not been (wonder how many other things that applies to...). Their service manager Kily Voskuhl tried to put them back in, but clearly had no knowledge of the mechanism at all. After messing with it, even when we asked him to stop, we were finally able to leave.We then took a nice long trip to spend XMAS with the family and after a few hundred miles the stop engine immediately light came on. The one where you drive it and you most likely will destroy something unless its an erroneous warning. After turning off and restarting the car, the light went out and we proceeded cautiously. Shortly thereafter the light came back on and a 2 hour wait later we get a tow. Unfortunately it was XMAS and we had to wait 2 days before the car could be fixed. It was empty of oil.After the oil was refilled, we proceeded on our trip after missing XMAS with family. Later in the day we wound up at another mechanic who said the same seals that Hazelwood replaced a few weeks earlier were badly leaking. The car after a few hundred miles was also extremely low on oil.We have given Hazelwood months to take ownership, but they keep jerking us around. After 6 months of Kily Voskuhl jerking us around and ignoring the issue, we specifically asked for a $200 service in order to have a TOKEN of them taking responsibility. The service manager just called up back and said that he had spoken it over with management and they decline to do anything. They take no responsibility, nor made any effort to retain a customer they screwed over.The business charged us for work not done, ruined our XMAS, and took zero responsibility. They deserve to be out of business (and Kily Voskuhl the service manager never employed the rest of his life). They are an embarrassment to the Kitsap business community.

Watch Out with the service department. Went to pick up a car right before closing hours that had 5 RECALLS TO GET DONE. Advisor that was gonna deliver vehicle and said let me keep it to verify that it had not been done and well have that looked at for you to make sure. Which i had to wait contact another ride was just to get a call the next day that the air bag light is On and we are not gonna check it. HOW MISSLEADING CAN YOU BE. WASTED TIME AND TRIPS. This was unethical, they claim that it is not related but have no evidence to support. Dont mislead customers

Would leave HALF STAR if it were an option!Bought a new Tiguan from this location and the roof started leaking through the electrical component. Scheduled for an appointment 5 days out with no option for transportation in the mean time. Horrible customer service! Most any dealership has loaner cars or at least a shuttle.Update: had my car there for 5 days last week, they did provide a rental at no cost, they said the found ineffeciencies in the gasket, ordered new parts and installed, 4 days with no rain, rains last night and the roof starts leaking AGAIN! Call into service and the soonest I can get in is Thursday, do go another 4 days with a leaking roof. This is now the third time I will have this issue looked at/repaired since the purchase of the vehicle October 1st

Another lie till they die Kitsap stealership. Avoid if Military or Veteran. They will lie about loan options and try and raise your interest rate. Was told they did not control the interest rate. They DO! So dont let them lie to you. And dont trust the salesmen here.

After alarms appeared I made an appointment for Saturday 9/12/20 at 9pm. I got a text at 11 saying they hadnt forgot me (would have been appreciated if I had my cell phone with me but was using wifes) Called at 12 and found the tech was getting around to it,(9 oclock appt.). Finally around 3:30 or 4 was told car was ready, problem with a wheel bearing. When I picked up the vehicle Payton told me when he got back on Tuesday and would check warranty coverage and would contact me. After waiting a half hour on hold yesterday, I left a voicemail for Payton and as of this evening I have yet to hear anything from Payton, the dealership or anybody else. Sure makes me wish Lori was still around. I dont know if this problem puts me in danger or not. Highly disapointed.

I am so happy with my service from Aaron Crawford. The two cars I wanted to look at were ready and warmed up upon my arrival. I had no intention of buying a car but he took such great care of me and answered all my questions and concerns that I was confident that I got the best deal ever. Haselwood provides a high level of customer service. They care about your experience with them. The service consultant, Caroline, was so helpful and knowledgeable! Caroline, made this a very easy, stress-free experience for me. They have a very nice waiting area with drinks, snacks, TV and wifi. Customers are asked while they are in the waiting area how their experience has been so far, they want the feedback! Lindy, the gal that asked those questions, is very nice and great to talk with. I am happy to travel the 1.5 hours it takes me to get to the dealership. Definitely recommend!

Our salesperson was great! The rest of the process has been a mess. The attitudes and lack of caring has been appalling. People do not return phone calls, even when multiple messages were left. She came in for the internet price and they quickly tried to write it up at full lot price. We caught that and corrected it.They are holding the car stating that the funding from the finance company has not come through. The bank says that Haselwood has the money. USAA is reputable and has no reason to lie. My daughter does NOT have her car. A car she is paying for with her own money at 19. Money she has worked for since she was 17!! It seems as though they do not want to honor the deal they made. How do you treat someone so poorly? Thinking about calling the attorney general, and the Navy. Maybe being blacklisted will help them understand the importance of being honest and doing business with integrity.

I was driving home last night and noticed that the EPC light came on in my 2016 VW Jetta. From what I read, this can turn out to be major problem with the engine especially if ignored. This morning, I noticed that the light no longer was on. I felt good about that. But though best to get it into Haselwood this morning since I drive my car for work. I called and was able to make an appointment for 12:30. I arrived early. And met Nina. She was fantastic! First, as I was waiting, she greeted me and said that she would be right with me. Seconds later, she greeted me again and asked if I was here for an appointment. I explained that I did and I was a bit early. She proceeded to ask me what I was in for. After she checked me in, etc., she said that she would try to get me taken care of earlier than my scheduled appointment. Well, she did just that! I told her that I would be waiting. I was visiting with a salesperson, when she came out to provide a diagnosis for what was causing my EPC light to come. She also stated that she would not need to have tire rotation done. But that I did need an alignment. I gave her my approval and she stated that the work would take an additional 1.5 hours. I was probably closer to an hour, I felt. Once again she came out personally to notify me that my vehicle was ready and she will meet me at her counter. She went over with me the work that had been done and explained the current condition of some of the other items of my vehicle, such as the tires and brakes. I paid my bill and she accompanied me to my vehicle. This has to be one of the most enjoyable service experiences I have ever had. Nina is a credit to your organization!!!!

Great customer service. People are as friendly as they come! Criticism is for my time. Full disclosure, I was honored to get the oil change as a courtesy for veterans day. I support any business that honors the military.I should have known when the service rep said we arent [a quick change place], we do a detailed job. Oil change was supposed to take 1 hour, maybe a little longer. Marked down because I was there 2 hours and 20 min. Im not saying dont go there again, Im saying drop your car off and dont expect a quick turn around. Also didnt make me feel confident when the reason for taking so long was because it was a technician in training doing the job. Also, there was no sticker for when I am supposed to get another oil change done. The old one was taken but a new one wasnt there. Overall, Id come back if I wasnt in a hurry and the deal was good enough.

Easiest car shopping experience. Called in advance to let them know what models I was interested in (had already comparison shopped with other dealers). When I arrived, Hunter showed me both models, pointing out the major differences during my test drive. Drove away in my new car in less than 3 hours. I thought I was going to get the dealer run-around for a missed diagnosis on their part, but instead they offered to rediagnose my father in laws Jetta and they spent 4 hours determining what the actual problem was (too much $ to fix) and they didnt bill me anything. I wish I could remember the name of the clerk who helped me, but I am really impressed by their customer service.

Worst car buying / trade-in experience ever!I bought a vehicle from Haselwood in December and traded in two of my vehicles that I owned and 3 months later this dealership still has not paid me the money they owe me for both my trade-ins. I have attempted to call managers and finance department over 17 times and spend hours of my life trying to get this resolved and still do not know where the money they owe me is. This is no way to run a business and maybe that is why they had a large change over of managers.

Nate was an awesome salesman to work with. He had been helping us keep an eye out for a car for a few months and called us as soon as one came in that fit everything on our list! Very disappointed.I was interested in a vehicle and due to the coved-19 crisis and the mandate issued by the Gov of WA, purchasing a vehicle is very challenging. I stopped by and was able to do a walk around the vehicle but was not able to test drive or have it inspected. I was able to have a conversation with the general sales manager. The price that was quoted online at various sites all showing the same price. I was told that they needed to do a credit check even though I was paying by personal or cashiers check. They said no hard pull credit, just to verify that I did indeed have the funds. If I purchased the vehicle I would have three days 100% refund if I was not satisfied since this would be my way of doing a test drive. Never have I paid for a vehicle first before full inspection. It was ok, vehicle looked in good shape. I informed the manager when I was able to work on the pre-qualify credit check I would do so that afternoon. Well by the time I go to do it, the dealership RAISED the price of the vehicle! I immediately tried to email and reach out but NO ONE would answer my question.Why would a dealership show a price that was seen and agreed to with a potential customer then go around and jack the price back up without informing the customer! Bad precedence. I will be contacting the BBB to inform them of this dealerships practice. You would think that due to OVER inventory and nobody is purchasing cars, that what was shown and talked over the phone with the general sales manager would be the price. WOW.Totally unsatisfactory and poor business ethics.Triple thumbs down. One for raising the price AFTER discussion, One for no call back or response to this dilemma, and the third for being oust into this situation to begin with. I can’t wait to for the chat and call back from the BBB to file a complaint.

A friend of my wife was looking for a small new car. Although we have never purchased a car from Haselwood Volkswagen Hyundai, past experience when looking at new cars proved to be a pleasurable experience. Even though we did not purchase a car, we were treated with respect and provided all the information we needed to make a future decision when it was time to make a new purchase.My wife and her friend arrived at Haselwood, Oct. 29, 2017, and once again were treated with respect, provided all the information needed, finance terms and purchased a new Hyundai. Both my wife and her friend said it was one of the best buying experience they have had. By the way, my wife can be a major critic when it comes to these types of transactions. Thought you might like to know since we did not purchase anything during our first two experience with Haselwood, however based on those initial experiences, we returned with a friend which resulted in a new car purchase. My wife said she will continue to recommend Haselwood. When it is time for us to purchase that new Canyon, you can bet we will be back.Happy husband!

Others in the dealership did the same and it was a great experience. One thing I would like to have changed was to speed up the finances and signing portion.

These guys are absolutely amazing! My situation was complicated and literally took a month to finish my car purchase (due to issues on my end) and these guys were completely patient with me and helped me through all of it and didn’t once have anything but great attitudes when even I was over it with everything when it was my own stuff going on. They showed a compassion for their job where I felt like I was being helped like a friend not just some random customer they wanted to make money off of. By far the best experience I’ve ever had with a car dealership. You guys rock and I’ll definately be recommending anyone I know in the market your way every time. This establishment is the reason why you dont take your car to a dealship for anything but warranty work. My daughter brought her car here and it was your typical experience of taking advantage of a young woman. First off the individual servicing us was unable to give us a straight answer on what they wanted to fix, and what exactly it their estimate included. Then, they threatened to charge us storage fees while pressuring her to agree to an engine rebuild on a car not worth $5k. The $600 charge to pull the oil pan and to reinstall it was the final straw. Fortunately we got the car out of there, but joke is on VW, we were going to buy a new car from them but after this experience ive convinced her to buy a Toyota.

I was in the process of getting a car through an online company, however I wasnt very happy with a few things that were going on. I went to Haselwood Volkswagen Hyundai and spoke with Michael. Kyrsten is amazing! I had to replace my car after an accident, so I didnt go into the buying process with the best frame of mind. I love the service department at Haselwood Volkswagen.However, when I make an appointment and ask for shuttle service, I expect the shuttle to be ready. I shouldn’t have To wait more than five minutes. Shuttle service under the previous owner was much, much better.

Took my car in for an oil change only to discover they didnt tighten up the plug so I leak out . I was told to be there at 2 to leave at 4:30....for an oil change!!!!! Its a VB bug people not a semi. Also, customer service was horrible to say the least. Dont go if youre allergic to latex, the lady gave me a hard time and said she couldnt make her staff stop to wash their hands. When I shared that it took so long to g, she told me that it was because they had to wash their hands...right?! It looks like youll get great customer service but theres no way in hell

Overall it has been an extremely frustrating car buying experience with the team at Haselwood VW. We purchased a Certified Pre-Owned Passat. We love the car and believe we got a great price on it, but the dealership has been a headache from day 1.In an effort to make the car buying process quick and easy, we came into the dealership with a TrueCar certificate (pre-agreed price for the vehicle). Although we had the TrueCar certificate, it still took several corrections (and hours) for them to get our TrueCar price correct. The sales team (Chris) tried to add on a bunch of accessories without us asking for them and added an additional Documentation Fee, even though it was already included in the TrueCar price (and they know this). Once they made all of those “corrections” the licensing fee suddenly jumped from $200 to $449. When asked about the sudden change in the licensing fee, they blamed it on not knowing where we would be getting the vehicle licensed (we were a unique situation, not worth explaining here). So suddenly after the 4th or 5th correction they randomly double the licensing fee? Turns out it was part of a number fudging gimmick.When it came time to sign the final paperwork with the finance department (Luke), the licensing fee was back to $200 and there was a fee of $249 for Security Etch. We had previously been informed this security feature came with all their cars and was already in the price of the car. Unfortunately, because the final price of the vehicle did not change (as the $249 was just shuffled) we did not catch the underhanded charge until several days later when reviewing our paperwork. Bottom line is CAREFULLY review all forms. I signed it, so its my miss, but still very frustrating. They passed it off as a misunderstanding when later confronted…I assure you my wife and I did not “misunderstand” the situation.The biggest problem we have had since purchasing the vehicle is the complete lack of communication. We had a few issues upon departing the dealership: (1) Car was sold to us without any manuals (Owners/Nav/Maintenance), (2) Navigation did not work on the vehicle due to a missing SD card (the car was advertised as having navigation), and (3) They only gave us 1 key. We reached out to the dealership with our concerns the day after purchasing the car. First worked with David, nothing happened. Days passed, so we left a message for our sales rep (Zach) and emailed the finance rep (Luke). Finally, an agreement was made to mail the items to us. After a week with no update and no package, we began following up again. We spent 4 weeks making calls, leaving voicemails/messages with reception, and sending emails. We did not receive a single call back and received few email responses. Not once has management called, even when we have specifically requested to speak to them or left messages for them. In the end, it took them almost FIFTY days to finally mail a box with all the items. If we were local, we would have gone to the dealership to have this resolved immediately, but unfortunately, we are not.When we purchased the car, we received a 45 day temp tag. At that time we were told we should receive our plate within 30 days. Close to the 30 day mark, we started contacting Haselwood. We received no response to our concerns until 45 days after purchase...the day our tag expired! Again, this is after multiple emails, calls, voicemails, and emails. We did not receive a single call back and email responses provided no resolution. On the day of our tag expired I had to call 3x before someone beyond reception would take my call. We were assured that an additional temp tag would be overnighted to us. It has been 3 days since and no tag has arrived. End of story is the temp tag has expired and we now have a car that can not be legally driven. Understand our licensing situation is different than most. However, our frustration is from the sheer lack of communication and lack of customer service on the part of Haselwood.

The dealers that I was with the few times that i have been there were very polite. The dealers did push in the direction of a new car instead of a used car. I think i shouldnt have let them know that at the time i was in the military. The dealers let me test drive any of the cars i wanted, and made sure that i picked the perfect car for me and my spouse.I have used their service department twice. I didnt have to wait for a very long time before the services were complete, but they charge way too much for parts. It is a lot cheaper ordering the parts from an online store first, and then having their service department make repairs. The second time i came in to have my car serviced they offered some free parts and installation on the recalled parts of the vehicle even though i neither purchase that vehicle from them nor asked about recalled parts on the vehicle. Worth a shot to have them look at your car, you might get some new free parts for your car.
