I arrived one minute before they closed (I should have checked their hours), but Brian was willing to run in to grab a small item that I needed. Even in his urgency he was extremely courteous and took care of me. He even gave me a split ring out of his own pocket after I found out they were all out. Thank you for the amazing customer service! Its the great customer service at this store that keeps me coming back for all my hardware needs.

Came in right before closing to do an online pick up order, as I’m getting in the line of other customers checking out a guy tells me they’re now closed. I said okay, since there are others still being serviced could I please just get my online order. He said, “No, all of our computers are re-booting right now.” As I look at the cashier clearly still using the computer to check out people so clearly this must be a magical computer immune to said re-boots. Guy was rude, so hope you don’t need to visit the “helpful place” within a few minutes of closing or the cashiers turn into bouncers.

My favorite starter shop at and have everything I need for at my place. To go to Lowes or home Depot will be a waste of mine gas and I have Ace hardware right here.

The employees are very helpful and polite. The prices are average for a hardware store. Though they have awesome discount racks. Two big displays of discounts with lots of choices to pick from. Also they had a clearance section marked all the way down to a dollar. Score!!! They have wide selection of different tools and accessories for your home. Plus they are in a good location. Much cheaper than the hardware store on national. And not all that muchfurther away. Face masks required, partitions at the register, in store shopping,and not very crowded. Check em out not a bad hardware store.

Worst hardware store ever. Rude employees, sexist people work for this messed up company. No backpacks? How about no bags of any kind. A woman walked in right after me with a purse that was huge. Definitely can steal with that. And I wouldnt mind giving up my backpack so much if there was a proper check in for it. But they just want to put it behind the counter. Why so you can go through my stuff? No, maybe this place needs lockers to have this kind of sexist policy. This place sucks!

Silas, Tyler, Sean were all great! Sean is new, but we explored the store together, we finally found what I was looking for. Tyler held my outside purchase and kept it safe. Silas wasnt my cashier, but he provided a service that wasnt expected, and I enjoyed my time at this store. I will shop here again because of them. I also heard a name, Bob or bill was the on-site shift manager, didnt have any interaction, but I believe hes a decent leader

Dont have what we need, prices seem really high compared to other hardware shops, the staff was helpful, but lacked knowledge.

I came yesterday to order key for my car, after processing paper staff told me brought paper to pay money. But i had waited for 20’ minutes at cashier but the system didn’t run. He told me come back next day, when i call to come back to pay for my order, staff said to me i have to come before 3pm they didn’t tell me before.the service is terrible.

The employees there are super friendly and knowledgeable. Always around to help or answer questions. I just moved to the Bremerton area, I will be going to Ace a lot.

I was just rushed out of their store and refused service because of a legitimate medical disability. The worker yelled at me from 20 feet away to get out and I wasnt even in the store yet. They were cruel and demeaning. I have always tried to support independently owned businesses even though prices are higher. I will never go there again.

The best that I can say about the Ace on Kitsap Way is that its close to home, and they have a decent whoops aisle. Its expensive, closes early, has very little selection, and the reward coupons you get have so many exclusions they are mostly worthless. Did I mention they are so over staffed that every 10 feet someone is anxiously trying to help you?

They might not have absolutely everything those big stores do, but for the random odds and ends they sometimes have a better selection. I far prefer the smaller more helpful store that does a few things but does them well over that all in one store where you can never seem to get the help you need.

I really like this place merchandise wise. Yes, its a little more pricey than say Walmart, but its got an excellent selection for how small the store is. My only complaint is regarding the employees... even though I have never given them a single reason to be suspicious of me, every time I go I always end up with at least one employee hovering nearby at all times. Mainly the tall white male in his late 20s/early 30s. I realize that because Im a man with long hair and a bit of stubble that automatically means Im a thief/criminal (cause nobody in history with short hair was EVER evil *cough*hitlerbundymcveighstalinridgwaycastrodahmergacyhussein*cough*) so I understand the profiling at first, but after being a faithful customer for years its getting a little offensive.

The sales lady at the store was so happy and willing to get whatever we needed. Also she was very attractive.

Kind people. Items other stores dont have. Can get pretty much anything ordered and have it within a week.

Unfortunately, Ive had three very bad experiences in that place. Two people in particular. I will not go back to that store.

Their credit card machines at their registers are horrible at reading card chips, and they dont have a option of swiping the card after they fail to read the chip. I have tried my debit card and credit cards at this store (both work perfectly fine at other stores), and they still cant read the chip. I have politely brought this to the attention of both the store clerks and owner and they always give attitude saying that its my fault that the card doesnt work. Their customer service is horrible, and they dont take responsibility for having lousy equipment which had probably led to a loss of sales in the long run. They should really reconsider upgrading their purchasing equipment, and learn to treat their customers better.

Went in today to pickup Lily Miller Mossout! for roofs, they had the best price and a 15% off coupon to boot. They also did a little research for me on a application system. Also picked other items at 15% off and some fire extinguishers at less than half price. This store has a wide variety of hardware and garden center products.

The only way this place comes close to 5 Stars is because it feels like Im playing Grand Theft Auto every time Ive been here. Employees simply wont take no, I dont need help for an answer and follow you around and outside the store as if you just gunned down the entire population and decided to stop in for some tacks, paint thinner, and murder.

Carla offers a 10% off discount using your Ace rewards but then if item doesnt qualify she is like too bad and shows no sympathy and takes discount away.Customer service 101 Carla how about asking the customer lets see if this qualifies for a 10% discount. And if it doesnt let the customer know soo sorry this doesnt qualify but maybe next time! Management needs to train better!

My kids bought a outside patio heater 3 months ago. It stop working. I called the 800 number for help. The part I need was on back order. The part finally arrived and still does work. I took the patio heater back to the store asking for a replacement. This was a gift from our kids. Who keeps every receipt. It is truly defective and Ag Ace will not replace it. What happen to the neighbor feel of doing business with your locally owned hardware store. It’s now a throw away after three months

I rarely leave without finding what I want.Prices are reasonable.Staff is very helpful and friendly and can there is usually someone on staff to answer project related questions.This is my favorite hardware store in West Bremerton.

Came to get a fishing license. Left with a few extra things because Ace Hardware always has unique stuff. Staff was very friendly, they talked to everyone like they known you for years. Little of joking around, obviously they are very happy to work there - not something you see often. They were very helpful and attentive to what I needed.Parking is ample, didn’t have any trouble getting in/out of the parking lot. Be careful if you’re turning left onto Kitsap when you leave. Traffic can be difficult to get out.

Needed some bolts for my motorcycle as the foot pegs lost one and it is really hard to shift with out some where to leverage off. They had what I was looking for. The employee at the check out had trouble helping someone before me find the right parts, but I think it was for something they probably dont carry anyways.

Normally I like this store. Today I was returning paint that was supposed to be back but was gray and the supervisor said Theres nothing I can do.. He refunded my money but said I had to go elsewhere for black paint. Not good for sales.

Need to training employees can not cut a Key!!3 times and they mixed my own, they make me do 3 trips just wasting time (the least you wanted to do is return for same issue expending time and gas for car) also when you are in the cashier they just taking phone calls and you have to wait because they are taking calls

Absolutely abysmal customer service. I went in looking to price out some new tools for the workshop Im building up. Didnt necessarily go in to spend money right then and there but to possibly purchase from them at a later date. I go in, am asked if I need any help. Politely inform the women that, no, Im fine, Im just looking around. Ok, cool. Its her job, no big deal. I go to use the bathroom, come back. sir, can I help you? different guy this time. Tell him no Im fine, thank you. Actually can you price this for me? I didnt see a tag? he prices it. Cool. Thank you. I go about my business browsing the store. Same guy comes around. At this point I know theyre watching me. uh sir? Seriously is there anything I can help you find and again, I tell him no, Im just looking. He then says to me well, theres a lot of theft here, so if youre not going to buy anything Im gonna ask you to leave. At this point Im flabbergasted. Absolutely offended. Fine whatever I buy the book of matches I had picked up and left, all the while the women who approached me and the other guy (Im assuming loss prevention) watched me to make sure I left. I was absolutely livid that they would profile me in this way, and have never in my life seen such atrocious customer service. Rude, and unfriendly people. Do not shop here if you want to be treated like a criminal and a nuisance.

Ace is a great neighborhood hardware store. They have 90% of everything I need, without the airplane hanger experience of the big boxes. I can run in for wire, weed fabric, and whatever and be done in a flash. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I am more than pleased with the customer service I have received. I have always got the right part I needed for the job I was doing. Be it plumbing, electrical or something else. Top notch all around.
