Took my 99 Subaru there to get the oil changed.Clear communication, great customer service, and pointed out a couple things to keep an eye on for potential future service areas.Very knowledgeable, clean shop, professional people, and trustworthy mechanics.

We were really impressed to find an affordable and professional mechanic right in our neighborhood. We only needed freon, but were able to get an appointment and complete service quickly. As long as we have this VW we’ll bring it here. Every employee was pleasant and other customers appeared pleased as well.

My moms car was there 1week ago

I needed to replace my Lexus Hybrid battery fan. I went to the dealership (which was a mistake) and they quoted me some outrageous amount to replace it. I called Auto Import Service and spoke with Phil. He quoted me a very competitive and reasonable price. He quickly got me scheduled for the service and did a great job! I think I found a new favorite auto service shop that’s fair and reasonable. Thank you!

I have had really terrific service here. Philip is very honest and fair and he runs a great shop. You can depend on their service. My experience has been excellent and I am very pleased to have such a great place in Brentwood.

They are efficient and honest people. They arent the cheapest around the block, but they are definitely one of my top choices when it comes to value

I called this place two days ago at the suggestion of one of the techs at America’s Tire for a wheel alignment. The guy who answered the phone left me on hold for close to 5 minutes. When he came back to the phone I requested a quote for a wheel alignment. He didn’t ask for anything except my number and said he’d call me back. Never heard from him. I’ll be getting that alignment for my new set of tires elsewhere. What horrible service!

Another place I called also wouldnt do it, but suggested Auto Import Service.I cant remember who I talked to on the phone (Mike?), but they seemed insulted when I asked if they could deal with my suspension partsWhy would it be a problem?!? Haha! Sorry!Anyway, Phil, who was working the day I brought my car in, was professional and efficient. Got the alignment done in the time specified and it looks like its solved the tire-wear issue I was having as well as stopped the ABS warning on my dash!Great shop in the East Contra Costa area.

GREAT shop. Its really hard to find a shop where theyll shoot it straight with you, and wont try to upsell. Its especially hard to find a place where women arent treated as idiots at best and flat out ignored at worst. Definitely will recommend this place to friends and family.

Had a flat tire last Saturday and couldnt find the wheel nut lock stored in trunk. Believe me, I searched high & low. Visited Walnut Creek Honda for help; parts manager referred me to Philip. Said hes nice guy. Phil loaned me his set of sockets for Acura but none of them fit. I guess the key were finely cut with laser and even though they looked almost identical none would fit. To make the story short, I found the pesky black pouch - of all places, in the trunk! Thanks, Phil. If I need service in future Ill definitely think of you.

The engine light on my car came on a few weeks ago. I didnt know who to bring my car to, and was fearful of being taken advantage of. I finally made an appointment at a local business only to find they dont do diagnostics. This business then recommended I go to Auto Import Service. I came home read the reviews and called to make an appointment. I arrived today at 1PM, assuming I would leave my car and get a call with the bad news later. Instead, Eric took my car right away and checked it out. Within 10 minutes he brought my car back out and told me that the light had gone on due to a loose gas cap, and that there was nothing wrong. The light just needed to be reset. When I asked how much I owe, he told me nothing. I couldnt have been more surprised. Needless to say I will be taking my cars here for any future service they may need. I am so happy to have found a place I can trust. THANK YOU!

Reliable, knowledgeable, competitive pricing, and have always treated me with respect - which hadnt always happened at other shops I had been to before. They have definitely garnered my loyalty, and as long as I have an import car, I will be coming to them for my auto repair needs and referring others as well.
