The staff was great. I stopped in for an emissions test after picking my kids up from school and they got us right in. Test took about 20 minutes and I was on my way. I’m definitely going back for any other diesel issues.

Its hard to leave a poor review without making accusations and talking poorly about a business. Excel really wants a review from all the emails they sent me, so Ill be brief and keep it as fair as possible.Accurate inspections, clear and concise reports and estimates are a must in this business. Excel has the resources as a company for great clarity, but its only as good as the information it gets. My reports, estimates, and verbal communications were not clear and concise, but vague and convoluted with inaccuracies and missing information. - it cost me both in time and money. It was as if they didnt want the work, or didnt think I would actually go through with the work.Work performed was completed, but at a low quality (Ball joint boots ripped, Improperly torqued steering linkage, etc...). A general lack of respect for my truck (Parking it into dry tree branches, oil not cleaned up off linkage and frame, etc...). Certainly not reflective of the premium they charge.2 stars because they called and stopped work once they realized their inspection was incomplete. Too bad the parts cost was already incurred.Im happy to elaborate to those who can make a difference, but I have no plans to bring any further business here, let alone recommend them in good conscience.

Diesel emissions testing. Required annually on our 2005 F350 dually. I have had Excel do this as required by Colorado for several years now since moving here from California in 2014. They have always been very professional and have always been able to work me in without an appointment. I was a former service manager at a Caterpillar forklift dealership in San Diego and I have always been impressed with their work ethic and professionalism. As long as my truck requires this test this is the only shop my truck will see. If anything else repair wise is required that I cannot do on my own, they will be the only shop I would consider.Thank you guys.

Stopped in to get a late diagnostic check and they wanted me to drop off my truck. Didn’t have one minute check the light diagnostic and give me an estimate. Looks like I will be taking my truck elsewhere to get service in the future. Great customer service guys!

Called for an emissions test. I was able to get in very quickly. I was also able to get a couple of other maintenance things done without having to schedule another appointment. Steve was very accommodating and helpful for all my concerns. He and his employees went above my expectations. Better than the dealer I use to go to. I’ll be back without a doubt! Great job!!!

I have owned my truck for 6 months now and have only been able to drive it maybe 3 of those months due to some crazy electrical issues. The ford dealership could not fix the issue so I took it to another independent mechanic. He had the truck for 3 weeks and was unable to make any headway at all. My decision to let Excel work on my truck was the best thing I could have possibly done. Steve got my truck in the shop that night and Will started working on it immediately. By 11:00 am the next morning I had a diagnosis and price for repairs. As I write this review my truck is sitting in my driveway completely repaired and all function restored and it is has been only 48 hours since I decided to take it to Excel. Will is an amazing tech and the entire team at excel is so awesome. If you want your truck with a shop you can trust that employs great techs and charges fair prices... go here! Especially if you are a powerstroke guy. These people know their powerstrokes.

Got in with no notice, repairs done in a day, kept up to speed step by step! Rob was professional, courteous, and I never once felt like I was being pinched for some sales plan like you do at large chain garages! On 08/26 I went in for an emissions test. At 8 am when they opened they had found an incident beyond their control happened. They were very professional and quickly got me in and out even while they were dealing with the situation.

Had made appointment to get used duramax serviced after I bought out of state. Appointment was scheduled for 9/24 but noticed the selling dealer had possibly used incorrect motor oil. Called Excel and explained situation and they found a way to fit me in immediately. Great group to work with and wonderful customer experience.

Terry fixed up my F-250. I bought the wrong used truck from a private party. It should have been sold to a junk yard. But I took it to Excel Diesel, they found everything that was wrong with it, and got it running. They did the work I asked for, gave good recommendations, and never pressured me to do more. They also got things done when they said they would, in a reasonable time frame. And while the labor rate was not the lowest, it was not excessive, and their work was well worth what I paid. They also sent inspection reports and estimates by email, which was very helpful. I hate trying to figure that stuff out over the phone; it was so much easier to be able to look at a report, research each item, and get back to them. I recommend this shop for diesel engine work.

Finally a place in Brighton that is certified to do diesel emissions. Thank you! We will definitely check them out if we have future repair needs.

Very sketchy shop, was looking to buy a truck from a local dealership nearby and had Excel do the emissions testing. In the state of Colorado you need a passing emissions to LEGALLY sell a car. They “passed” the emissions and said everything was great. So I buy the truck to find out a year later when I go to a different shop to have the annual emissions done that my truck has the wrong catalytic converter and fails emissions. But wait how can that be!? They were in cahoots with the dealership and fudged the emissions to get the sale done and now I have a truck I can’t drive and need $2,000 for a new converter. STAY AWAY!!

Excellent service. They found that the air filter was basically clogged, replaced the filter. Showed me the filter indicator, now I know. Helpful and informative.

I have been taking my truck to them since theyve opened with no issues untill I took my truck in a few months ago for a coolant leek. They told me to was leaking from the coolant reservoir hose so i had them fix it. Now i took it back in for another coolant leak and the told me it is leaking from the same joint. And charging me for the repair. On top of it they wanted me to sign previous work order so they could sent it to ford to get paid for warranty repair. So i questioned if they are getting paid for warranty why am i being charged. Sounds to me like the shop is trying to get double paid. Shops like this give the industry a bad name.

THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY!!! TOOK MY TRUCK TO GET AN EMISSION TEST DONE AND HAD THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON!! THEY COULDNT TELL ME OUT OF COURTESY THAT IT WILL NOT PASS IF THE LIGHT IS ON. THEY WENT AHEAD DID THE TEST KNOWING IT WAS NOT GOING TO PASS. NOW IM OUT 65.00 DOLLARS AND HAVE TO PAY AGAIN TO GET THE TEST. MONEY DOES NOT GROW ON TREES!!

Good experience. Got emissions testing done, not much to it. I also got a VIN verification done, only issue I had was they showed the inspection date as the year prior and neither I nor the sales person noticed while I was at Excel. Fortunately I went to the DMV that day and the clerk, who noticed the incorrect date, was able to process it as theyre good for a year.
