I am absolutely disgusted with this establishment, the optometrist, and front desk, Debra. They are greedy and just want money. My mother had an eye exam in September and she needs a form filled out now, that just confirms she had an eye exam in SEPTEMBER. It doesn’t require the doctor to lie or say she had an eye exam at at a later date. However, the doctor won’t fill it out, stating that “a lot can change in 6 months.” My mother would know if something changed with her eyes. They simply want money for another comprehensive eye exam, and because I work in healthcare I know this. It’s a money grab. They have no reason as to why they cannot fill this form out, just that the doctor doesn’t want to and they can’t force him. Thankfully there are a plethora of other eye doctors in Brockton and we will not be returning to this establishment. I’m so disgusted. And when I told Debra the customer service was bad she said “well...” what a joke.
My daughter and i have gone to the Brockton vision works for the longest time and we never experience treatment of the front desk and even the doctor not being organize.. she went for a contact fitting a month ago and have yet get a call back and we been calling them with no one calling us back im very disappointed and never experience nothing like this before, regardless if its covid or not.
I always have a good experience when I go to this location. The entire staff is very pleasant. Sometimes is crowded and you might have a long wait but the staff works well under pressure.Highly recommend
I just have spoken to one of the nicest persons ever at Visionworks. She book my appointment and my sons in a such professional and cheerful way. Too bad I forgot her name, otherwise I will have ask for her to be named the employee of the month!!

I just picked up the 4th or 5th pair of glasses weve gotten from this location. They close for 6pm and I walked through the door at like 5:55 after hitting all the red lights on the way. I was welcomed and treated as if it was the beginning of the day. No heaby sighs or nasty attitude about getting there at the eleventh hour. Covid prevention protocol is very thorough. Excellent value and great service. thank you again!
After making the mistake of renewing my contact prescription online, a few times, I realized I needed to actually see a professional. I used my insurance to find “preferred” providers near me and after comparing a few.... okay, a lot...of places I chose Visionworks. I made an appointment online, they called to confirm my insurance, and I was in that afternoon. I was immediately greeted and I was seen within 5 minutes. Dr. Randal White was absolutely amazing. As it turns out I was wearing the *completely wrong* strength, I was using a contact lenses that doesn’t allow oxygen to get to my eye, and I have a slight astigmatism in one eye. Needless to say, I cannot recommend Dr. Randal White enough. I set up a follow up appointment to make sure the new prescription and contact lenses was a good fit and went onto the biggest task: picking out glasses.The employees here really work as a team. Each has their own strength and they all seamlessly jump in and switch roles as needed. I tried on *so* many glasses and was about to call it quits when an associate, Lynn, came over and assisted. She helped me figure out what I wanted and ways to make that look work for me. I chose 2 pairs of glasses, ordering the one that was totally different for me and I was excited to get them.I received a text that my glasses were ready. It was sooner than I expected, about 10 days, and I popped in on my way home from work. I mention this because I got to the store around 6/6:30 and there store was obviously busy. There were a few people waiting, yet each person was still receiving the customer service they needed. I was only waiting 10 minutes or so when the store manager called me over to check the fit on my glasses. She was wonderful to talk with and made me feel good about my choice.Every associate I encountered in my 3 visits were outstanding. I cannot recommend them enough. Don’t fall for “online exams” like I did, make an appointment, you can thank me later.
This is a review for Visionworks as a whole not the store in particular.. I ordered my glasses online about 2 months ago and whileI was extremely excited to receive them I even paid extra for the “glare protection” on the glasses I am so Disappointed!!! These glasses grasp every little thing to them so they are always Dirty!! And wouldn’t you know the glare is still horrible at night!!! It doesn’t matter what I use to clean these glasses (Cotton cloths, the special cloth they gave with the glasses alcohol wipes paper towels) EVERY THING SMUDGES THE LENSES!!!! I’ve never had this problem with glasses before and I have no choice but to continue to wear them because I don’t have another pair!!! And hey due to covid can’t afford to purchase another pair!!! What a waste!!!!
The manager at the Vision Works at the West Gate Mall is amazing. She originally helped me when ordering my pair of glasses and I came back a month later as they were run over. When I went in to get a new pair I specifically wanted to work with her. She remember our names, gave us a great discount on the second pair that I ordered and assured that I would get them the latest in 14 days. She is just super friendly, kind hearted and likes working with her customers!
Its amazing to now have to include in a review how safe I feel entering a business. I am grateful how efficient they are with checking our temperature, sanitizing our hands and providing gloves as an option. And Im very happy with my eye appt and new glasses
Walked in out of the blue on Saturday. Met wonderful girl at the counter named Shay and she fit me in for a day of appointment. Super friendly and very helpful.
I went to see Dr. White in May of 2019 for a new script. He said I definately needed a change but wanted me to see an eye surgeon at Boston University Eye. I had cataract surgery in July and in October. My final surgical exam was first of December. The surgeon gave me a script and I went to Vision Works for my glasses. Two weeks later my glasses came. Something was wrong I couldn’t see with them. I went back to the surgeon, he made an error on my script. I went back to Vision Works with my useless glasses and the corrected script. They sent my glasses back with the new script and fixed my glasses at no cost to me. The girls were super professional and very caring and courteous. Finally I had glasses for Christmas. I have been using the Brockton Vision WOrks since they were on Belmont Street and we’re Cambridge Eye. I’m thrilled with their customer service and will never go anywhere else.
Super arrogant, has no respect for customers and they judge people by their appreciation .. the Doctor was super rude and one of the helpers spoke badly to me at the counter and ignored me and then I ended up leaving without answers..
Great experience... the Dr. was super friendly and great to work with. After my exam, Debbie was very helpful and informative when picking out and ordering my glasses. Great customer service when you can joke and laugh with the person helping you!
The best service by far. I was so nervous first time my daughter getting into contact lenses. Dr Morris was amazing.The staff were great specifically Valerie. She ordered the daily contacts to our home explained everything. The whole experience was great.
This was my first time I had visited Visionworks and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was pleasant and very helpful and knowledgeable. The doctor had a wonderful sense of humor. They have a very large selection of frames for any taste. I will return.

I was a little concerned when my previous eyeglass place got merged into this one a few years ago. Fortunately, at least some of the same great technicians moved as well, and I have continued to have the great service for almost 20 years now.And other branches have been very helpful fixing small mishaps while away.

Today may 23rd,I had an appointment at 4 pm, I showed up at 4 :14 and the lady at the front desk said to me ill go ask the doctor if hell take you.She comes back after 2 minutes and asked me to reschedule...really? do you guys know how many times i had to wait in the past bcz you guys were being? Sometimes 30 minutes.I honestly never been impressed withThis place and this will be the last time for me there. I am taking my business elsewhere.Lack of care is bad business....no wait, actually in your case you guys will probably merge with someone else and go on.
After years of not having an eye exam, I figured this was a convenient place. Apparently my insurance doesnt cover vision works, BUT they will give out of network customers the in network pricing! Not to mention how awesome and friendly the staff is there. I cant wait to pick up my new glasses!

I bought 2 pairs of glasses early 2016,one for myself and the other for my son.The selection is excellent,they carry lots and lots of frames,the service was good-excellent.They replaced a set of frames that broke 6 months later with no hassle.The only reason I didnt give a 5 star was the price was just okay,about middle of the road.

Service is very poor. They never called me to remind me of the appointment and it was going to be my first appointment with them. When i tried to explain that i did not received a call to remind me of the appointment the lady was talking over me. I will not recommend this place to anyone.
Today was the 2nd time I went in to asked them to fix my glasses. The first pair they gave them back to me and told me that theres nothing they can do. 2nd time the lady told me the same thing. Ive spent close to $800 within the past year at this location and they can care less. I will be taking my business somewhere else. Today was my last and final time ever going to them. Totally disappointed with this place.
Very poor waited 40 minutes to pick up glasses, poor customer service. Fix it, moving my serviced to another location... never again, ..2nd bad experience, I had a change of heartWent back to to the Brockton store the Dr, she was awesome. Gina must having been having a bad day, poor customer service, she also seemed unsure of how to do her job. Outside of showing me some frames.TIANA HAD TO TO SERVICE RECOVERY BECAUSE, I WAS Left at the desk with no explanation or direction. I was left confused, perplexed and dissatisfied. I waited on Gina to return. Had I not gone to the counter, I would have waited longer. Please fix the customer service so that all employees treat customers as they should be treated, and understand the service that is they are providing there and being provided and paying also all employees are knowledgeable about the products and efficient with the computer. It seemed as if Gina did not.
