This was my first visit to AAMCO. Overall, I was pleased with the experience. Randy is pleasant to work with. A little pricey but the quality of the service backs that up for the most part.I was not thrilled that I had to bring my car back two additional times but part of that was out of their control. The only other issue I had, which truly varies from shop to shop, is communication. I hadnt heard from the shop and the day was almost over. It leaves you feeling like, well I guess Im not getting my car back today. I better make a plan. I wished I was kept better informed about what to expect.

Long review but says a LOT about this business...I recently took my truck to AAMCO for a whining/howling noise out of my rear differential in my 2015 Chevrolet truck with 80,000+ miles. I was almost certain it was the rear pinion bearing and they told me they could fix it. After a couple of days Randy called me back and informed me that the sound was coming from my transfer case and not the rear differential. They checked the fluid and it was clean. They then took the transfer case apart and it all looked brand new so they installed a new seal and refilled the case with new fluid. They then put it back on the lift to listen for the noise to verify where the sound was coming from, but this time the sound was not there. They took it out and drove it on the highway to get it warmed up, but the sound was still not there. I picked up the vehicle and drove it for a sufficient amount of time to where I knew the sound was most audible and I couldnt hear anything either. Three days later (today) and still no whining/howling sound.Long story short, we can only assume there was something wrong with the fluid and by changing it, the problem was fixed. The biggest thing I want everyone to know is that Randy runs such an honest business, he didnt charge me one cent! If I wasnt moving out of state next week Id be bringing all of my vehicles to him for any issue!

I had some car trouble over the weekend so I quickly did a google search for transmission shops around BA. Whenever I found the highest rated shop, I picked up the phone and immediately found out why the shop was rated so well, or at least part of an explanation anyway. I thought Randy was kind, patient, knowledgeable and a straight shooter. I was expecting a massive rapid bill and was surprised when Randy called with only a fraction of my suspected exit price. Replaced a totally worn out rear motor mount on my Honda Odyssey van. They did it for slightly under estimate and had it done on schedule. Very nice people there. Randy was great.

Took my truck in because the transfer case was leaking. Ended up needing a new one so I got a remanufactured one. They put it in and that one had problems. They were QUICK to get me another one. Very professional and reasonable on pricing. Randy and the guys in the shop were great! Fast turn around time on the truck! I would highly recommend them!! Thanks again Randy!

We took the car in for A/C repair. Wed had it in last summer at another place, who just patched it and sent us on our way. Randy and the crew got it fixed. It was more extensive than we hoped, but they got it done, faster than the estimate, and a tad under the estimate too.

I brought my car in originally because I thought I needed a transmission fluid change on my 2007 Ford Taurus SED. My car hasnt been started in 3 years and I had a sensory output problem that was causing shifting gears to not shift smoothly. Randy was very understanding and flexible about my schedule. Also, the mechanic that performed the service on my car was absolutely diligent and he told me what was wrong without beating around the bush. I definitely recommend this company and I will be returning for more services!

Driving with my daughter in the car one day my car stalled at a stop light. That scared me. I didnt drive it for a couple of days. The next time I drove it, I pulled out with traffic and it just puttered. I was terrified so I called AAMCO. Beau answered and was so nice I decided right then to take my car to him. He didnt make me feel like a stupid woman like so many other car guys have. I openly admit I know nothing about cars. Beau explained my problem and had my car repaired that afternoon. Its been a month now and my car is moving right along with no problems. I will happily call Beau again if/when my car needs repaired. This is the best auto shop I have ever been to. Zach, the manager there was extremely helpful in the process of my insurance claim. He was very knowledgeable and personable. He took care of all my auto needs. My car had suffered transmission damage while hitting flood water. Zach and his team went over and beyond my needs. Not only did he take care of my transmission but he was able to install a new clutch for me (which another shop messed up). My car drives like the day it was off the lot. Last year my son bought his first car and him and I have done some work on it here and there. Recently we came across the too many issues, not enough time scenario. Let me tell you, if you need your belts changed, dont put it off and get them done because a belt came off on the Hwy and damaged my sons front seal on his power steering pump. Randy at AAMCO took care of us. Got a new power steering pump and went ahead and had some other issues fixed while it was there. Randy has years and years of experience and runs a very tight ship. I know when I take a car or truck to him, itll always be done right. When he suggests other issues need to be looked at, he truly has the customers best interests in mind. I can only recommend AAMCO if you need any work done on your vehicle. They have highly skilled technicians and are honest. They fix it the right way the first time. I had an oil leak on my car that no other place was able to fix until I took it to AAMCO and they fixed it for good. I had issue with giving gas and was told by other places it was my throttle body and had it replaced twice. AAMCO identified it was actually an oxygen sensor issue and they fixed it for good. AAMCO in Broken Arrow is the only place I take my vehicle and can highly recommend it !!!

Recently brought my girlfriends truck in for a oil change and to check out... lets call it a sketchy steering issue. They changed the oil and where able to diagnose and repair the steering issue at a reasonable price! Beau was very polite and more then willing to answer any question I had! The manager Zack helped us out so much with our transmission. We had a extended warranty that wasnt going to pay for it to be rebuilt and wanted to just have them put a used one in. So Zack worked us a deal and got us the rebuild transmission and saved us a ton. I have never met someone so knowledgeable and willing to go out of his way to help. Talked to some of the mechanics too and they were all really polite and happy. Awesome place. It is like the good old days where you can rely on and trust your mechanic at this shop. Im from out of state, and before I made the big trip home I needed to get my oil changed and just make sure all was good on the car. Zach was very helpful and able to get my car in and out. Our SUV runs great and they gave us an really nice warranty on the work performed. By the way, his price was very reasonable. But here is what impressed me the most; when I called James and informed him of the symptoms the Pathfinder was showing, he immediately knew the problem, the solution, and the history of this specific problem with this specific make and model of vehicle. Wow, that really impressed me. So, AAMCOs amazing reputation, this specific location in the heart of Broken Arrow, and the experience and integrity of James have made this AAMCO the only place I will take my cars. Staff was friendly I had them do a check on my transmission they did it quickly but thorough turns out I had 2 bolts missing from the transmission pan and they replaced them for me no cost at all. Would recommend them highly

I came to James Garrett at Aamco with a whole diagnosis of stuff I needed to get done on my car by my dealership and when I brought it to him none of it was necessary, so I would of spent hundreds of dollars on stuff I didnt need. When I took my car in for an oil change it was so refreshing that they didnt tell me all these things I need done and try to sell me a whole bunch of stuff!!! Im so glad I found a place of integrity that I can trust!!!

I brought a 2011 SS Camaro recently with 92k miles to use the powertrain in my 72 Chevy show truck. I wanted to have my transmission checked out so I brought it into the Broken Arrow Aamco location. Randy and Loren the tech disassembled it found some normal clutch and bearing wear. Decided to have it rebuilt. Loren the tech actually took the time to show me all the wear pieces. He also answered every question I had. I got a high level of expertise help on my performance tranmission. Im a very picky person when it comes to who does my motor and transmission work for my hotrods. The price was fair and the work was done in a timely manner and their shop is super clean which is unsual in most repair facilities. The Broken Arrow Aamco guys are my go to guys from here on. I live in Dallas and had my transmission rebuilt by AAMCO in Dallas, they did a great job! My fiancé and I were visiting family in broken arrow for thanksgiving and were heading back to Dallas when our 2011 equinox overheated. When I realized I couldn’t fix the problem I called AAMCO in broken arrow, Bill the manager took great care of us, our car runs better then it did when we bought it. They fixed issues that we weren’t aware of that had nothing to do with the over heating issue. We drove back to Dallas with absolutely no problems. Love the customer service!

Zach at Aamco is great! I took my Odyssey van to him and needed the transmission fixed. He took great care of me and it was less than half of what the dealer quoted me. Im always a skeptic with shops and I waited 4 months to post this review to make sure I had no issues. This was a great place to work with.

When I moved here from Denver, I begged my mechanic to come with me but his wife wouldnt let him! HA! (Just kidding!) Its a big deal find a really good car doctor when you are single. Then I found James. Trustworthy, honest, reasonably priced, personable ....what more can I say? I feel really sorry for you if you use anyone but James for your auto needs.

Transmission works good so far but they forgot to give me the key lock for the wheels. They said they mailed it to me but I never got it.

I recently did business with these people because I was having some serious issues with my Subaru. My usual mechanic first told me it sounded like the transmission and then said he wanted to replace the CV joints in the front because that would eliminate some of the problem. I did not want to throw good money after bad so I decided to get another opinion from AAMCO. The customer service from start to finish was absolutely professional and courteous. They were honest about the prices from worst case to best case scenario. The car has very little miles for the make and model and I really did not want to get rid of it as long as the cost of the repairs were within reason. AAMCO did all of that for me and I appreciate their service greatly. I will now be using them for regular maintenance and repairs in the future and will recommend everyone I know to do the same. 5 out of 5 stars!!

Brought my vehicle in the day before a pile of thunderstorms were set to fall on Tulsa. They got it done and the owner was willing to wait on us to travel in from out of town even though he had a tornado watch coming in. They were informative, open about the issues on my car and didnt try to upsale me with extra parts or services that werent needed

After receiving a very pricey repair quote from a local dealer, I was given a strong recommendation to for this AAMCO location. WOW!!! for less than half the price of my dealer quote they not only repaired the problem, but also were able to take care of some other standard maintenance issues I had let go!!
