Has most of what I need. No longer recycling old ballasts and flourescent tubes so a little disappointed in that.
When I went back an hour later to get my phone it was ready. had some charge in it. I took it home charged it then noticed that my camera, flashlight and phone speaker did not work. Pretty much rendering my phone useless. I called the store and was told I need to come back in the morning when the manager is there. She looked at it and an hour later I was told she needed to order parts for it and to come back the next day. I did and the same person who changed out the battery was there to fix the phone again. She seemed a bit miffed even though I was polite. The phone did have what looked like a small black seal or wire hanging out of it the first time which may or may not have been the problem. Seems a bit more care taken on the battery swap would have prevented this issue. This was not the first phone I have taken in for a battery but I doubt I will take in another.
Went to the store to purchase a car battery and inquire about installation. Was told that I could schedule installation online and would get a discount on the battery for ordering online. Since I didnt have the vehicle with me, I left the store, ordered online, and scheduled installation in the morning for 6PM that day. Brought the car to the store to have the battery installed. Was told that the person who completes the installations had left and that they could not install the battery.So, a few questions-- 1. Why wouldnt you attempt to honor the price in store if its cheaper online? Your staff member basically encouraged me to leave the store! 2. Why arent all staff trained on how to install a car battery? 3. I realize that things happen.There appeared to be two batteries awaiting install/pick up/ Why wasnt I called and asked to reschedule? Waiting until I get there to offer another time is unprofessional and a waste of my time.
Staff was friendly and got us a new lawnmower battery and helped us recycle our old florescent bulbs. Was in and out quickly with exactly what we needed.
Staff is always helpful. I didnt know they carried windshield wiper blades. The nice young man put them on my car for me. I never expected that.

We got to the Wauwatosa location at 5 minutes to 7 and they had already locked the doors and someone yelled at me that they were closed. If you’re going to post opening hours you need to stay open until those Expire.

I needed to replace some AAA NiMh batteries in a Waterpik and the website said they had them at this location for $0.99 each. When I arrived, I was told by a woman associate that they dont carry them, even though they were shown on the website. I was directed to a 4-pack for $12.99 which I did not want. I went back to my car, found the listing on the website, and returned to speak with another associate. He found them behind the counter but when talking to the first person (manager?) he told me they were not rechargeable. I said I have used them before, they are rechargeable, and they are listed as rechargeable on the website. The associated insisted they were not rechargeable, but I purchased them anyway. I replaced them in the Waterpik and they are recharging just fine. I would suggest some updated training for the staff and a bit more consideration for the customer.
I dropped of an iPhone for repair last week Monday, after learning from the associate that it will take them 3 days to fix it. 5 days later no call back so I went to the store and they explained that they do not have shipping boxes so havent shipped it out to their tech center to fix it. I was very patient and gave them additional time and 3 days later (next Monday) called them again and they said it hadnt shipped out yet but should later that day when they get the boxes. I figured another 4 days before I call. 4 days later I called again and the phone is still sitting in the exact same place and still hasnt been sent to their tech center for fixing. Two weeks later, they havent done a darn thing about it or no courtesy call to tell me they arent able to fix it. I could have taken it to another shop and fixed it by now if they were honest and upfront that they do not have the boxes to ship or dont expect to get boxes for a long time. Very frustrating and I have been patient all this while. The store employee that answered the phone each time said I have to talk to a General Manager and that he works only on Sundays and there is no way to contact him outside of that. Cant really tell if they are playing with me intentionally or not. Hope no one else is being treated the same way. If you need your phone fixed here think twice before you take a chance with this store...
Quick & easy ordering & pickup. They had the odd battery that I needed and had it ready to pick up right away. Great service with a smile (under the mask .... )
Went in for a phone battery replacement after making an appointment. I was told it would be approximately 45-60 minutes and I would receive a call afterwards. I never received the call so I eventually headed back in. When I arrived, the phone was sitting there ready and the technician never said a word about it. I checked out and went home to use it, but experiencing even worse battery life than before the swap. Either the batteries used are of a significantly lower quality or the battery was never swapped.
The store Manager Patricia or Patrice (not sure how to spell it) was absolutely amazing and helpful. Very smart and did everything she could to help. It shows how much she loves her job and treats customers. I hire and work with managers and would love to have her on my team. Great Job!!

I specifically made sure to return the old battery to get the $10 core rebate. I didnt realize that they didnt give it to me until I got home and now I am told I need to come back to the store today to receive the rebate. Ridiculous. When I called the second person I spoke with when I asked to speak with a manager was even worse than the first.
We have been there several times with our iPhones. The staff is very kind, knowledgeable, skilled and trustworthy. Never let us a down unlike Apple.

A few days before Christmas after being told by the Apple Store guy that my I phone 6x was junk and I needed to purchase another phone, I left and drove straight to Batteries Plus Bulbs in Brookfield and met Brice, he said they would have a look at it so after he opened it up and found moisture and a bad charger port he said that he was not familiar with the charger port change but after I encouraged him he began working on the replacement. He worked on it over 4 hours as I sat and watched. He also had to help other customers and keep everyone happy. He did a great job helping all. After taking every screw and piece out of my I phone, and getting the charger port to work, we sadly saw the water damage had effected the screen, so then he had to replace my screen!!! Long story short.... it all was a success! I also need to mention that my I phone had not been able to be backed up in over a year, and thousands of pictures of my new grandson, and my three boys college graduation and family and friends would have been lost! Brice made my day and my year! He is my hero! Thank you again Brice for you kindness and hard work and taking the time to help me! You are awesome!
My (5+ year old) car battery decided now was a good time to die. I called this Batteries Plus Bulbs, and spoke with Jordan.Jordan was tremendous in his polite and helpful service. On Sunday, an hour before closing, he installed a new battery for me. I was on my way in very short order.I recommend this store, with all of the stars!

Friendly but sneaky sales tactics. I stopped in there today to get a new battery for my wifes watch that belonged to her mother. The nice man at the counter asked me if this was the first time we are replacing the battery to which I answered yes. He proceeded to take off the back and install a new battery. I was very appreciative until he rang up the total. At the end, I paid around $8 for installation without being informed up front about the charge. That works out to about $480/hr for something that took him literally less than one minute. Im not complaining about the charge itself, but rather the lack of upfront knowledge about it. Not sure I will return since I can easily get batteries elsewhere. But to be fair, I have shopped here before without any issues. I just think this particular sales practice needs to be altered or rectified.

Im liking this store more and more. The high tech light bulbs are coming down in price and they were able to fix a high intensity flashlight that had stumped me. They had also changed batteries in keyless fobs for my cars.

After finding my car dead in the parking lot at my infant sons pediatricians office (following shots) I had it towed in to this location, where Id prepurchased a battery online. They looked into it, and found my battery and transmission were fine, I just needed a $6 part. Honestly, they probably could have sold me anything - I just wanted to get home! But instead they took the time to make sure I didnt spend more than I needed to. They have gained a loyal customer for as long as I live here.

Ordered a replacement key/fob for my Honda Accord early last week. Said it would arrive in store Friday. I asked if I could get it at 5:00pm Friday and have it programmed (they charge $50 to program). Was told that is too late in the day and that i can come in Saturday morning to have it done. Came in Saturday morning at 8:00am. Waited 40 minutes to have key cut. Lady tries twice to program and says both machines are broke and have been for a while. Told me to come back Monday to talk with store mgr. If it was already broken, why she have me get there at 8am to program and sit and wait 40 minutes. Poor, very poor. I requested a full refund and will now look elsewhere for the key/fob. Waste of time and poor service.
I purchased a Duracell deep cycle battery from this store. I installed the battery in my boat. By the way I was a professional mechanic on both gas and diesel, so installing a battery is childs play. After I installed the battery it wouldnt even run a bilge pump unless my ship to shore charging unit was on. I double checked the electrical system and determined that the battery was defective. First chance I had I took the battery out and drove back to the store. I told the salesman that the battery was defective. He put it on your tester and said it could not communicate with the battery. After a volt check it was at 4.5 volts, however I never touched the battery and had my battery selector switch set to off. So the guy tells me he will have to charge it and then test it. So I left after 2 days of hearing nothing I called. I was told that the battery was fine and come pick it up. So for the third time I drive back to the store and the guy tries to test the battery in front of me but again is unable to. So he gives me a new one and says my warranty is now done as it must have been my fault that the battery went bad and that they would never let a bad battery leave the store. Well I know this not to be true as my girlfriend had a Duracell battery installed in her car and it was junk. You can verify that with the Germantown store. So basically I drove to your store 3 times to get a working battery with no warranty or even a discount for all the running around I had to do. Furthermore the guy was going to let me leave the store without checking the battery so I told him I wanted it tested and he couldnt as his equipment was broken. I will never return to batteries plus and will be advising everyone I know and work with to do the same.

Really appreciating Justin for his talent!!!....i was stuck up with an issue with my i phone and consulted lot of technicians and even Apple show room. they all said my phone is gone ..i was totally disappointed and it was a new one..All of them recommended to replace the entire circuit which cost $400.. so i went to batteriesplus bulbs they have good techies.. Justin fixed the issue within one hour that was an Antenna problem and i just paid $52!!!! The phone is working smoothly now.... Thanks a lot.. i strongly recommend this shop especially Justin.....!!!!!!!!
My wifes car battery died and we were really in a pinch. Brice helped find a car battery and installed it for us. He was completely swamped and he was the only employee working in the store. He gave us fantastic customer service and installed our battery correctly. If I ever have an electrical issue in the future, Im going back to this same location and I hope Brice is there to help. Thought I was stranded (well, almost!), but Patricia at B&B saved the day! I had arranged in advance to pick up a car from a lot I knew would be closed on Sunday. I arrived from over 400 miles away to find the battery completely dead, and it wouldnt even respond to a jump. I remembered seeing the B&B store and went to buy a battery. Patricia was working there alone, but was most helpful in finding a suitable battery, and even loaning me the tools I needed to swap in the new battery on the car that was a few miles away! Patricia is a marvelous person, and a real asset to the B&B family! My sister scheduled a battery replacement with this location a few days before. She got a confirmation email and everything. When we arrived on the day of the appointment, the staff told us that the guy who does battery replacements isnt even in today. So why the hell were we able to schedule the appointment, then? It was a waste of our time.On top of that, I also came in to get my key fob battery replaced. When I originally got the key fob, the battery lasted me for years before I had to replace it. The battery that Batteries Plus installed lasted a few weeks (a month, at best). This has happened twice now. Never going back to Batteries Plus again - not this location nor any other one!
Great service while getting my iPhone battery replaced. Had problems with one that another location installed just days before and the nice gentleman honored the warranty, taking a little extra time even after the store technically closed. This attention to service really made me overlook the faulty battery initially given the first time.

I was in your store 8/31 one hour before closing with a cracked Iphone screen. I was helped by Brice and wanted to let the store manager know what an outstanding employee he is. He was under additional pressure due to a new computer release causing problems accessing the system for payments as well as previous purchases. His communication was straightforward, he was knowledgeable, and always friendly and calm. I watched him wait on three other customers while I was waiting for my repair each time problem solving for them even though the store did not carry what they needed. While this was going on he worked alongside a coworker that came back in to try to help figure out the system problems. He just impressed me so much and want you to recognize what a great employee you have in him. He fixed my screen during all this and I suspect other places would have told me to come back the next day. A++++2/2 Tyler helped me install a new car battery. Again alone in shop and he multi-tasked well and was extremely helpful and polite.

B+B has never disappointed. Ive dropped in for 2 car batteries, an iphone screen as well as an ipad screen and they are friendly, helpful and efficient. Unfortunately I pretty much only enter that place feeling stressed out (see above reasons) and always leave relieved.Bryce changed my car battery tonight- in the dark, relentless mosquitoes, rain, and all- he got it done while I waited with my two young kiddos- in 20 minutes- and still managed to help the other customers coming in and leaving the store.

First place wouldnt put the battery in because it was raining... second place didnt put in the save codes, so I now get to go in to my mechanic to have him run a program to get my settings back to normal. When I called in I was told to follow up with the same franchises that screwed up in the first place. Really bad customer service all around.If I could give 0 stars I would.
I ordered online to be picked up in store at around 9pm which was closing time, so I know they weren’t going to get to it until tomorrow. Got a confirmation email when it was placed, woke up the next day and I thought I would have an email saying it was ready, but I did not. I called the store in the early afternoon and was sent to voicemail 3 times. And I was really confused why that happened. All I wanted to know if my order was ready. Finally I called a 4th time and I finally got someone on the phone. He said it was ready and I got a email about an hour after I had talked to the gentleman. Went into the store and a nice gentleman got my order for me and i was out the door in minutes. So that is why I gave it one less star.

Normally I dont respond to these surveys but in this case I think I should. This used to be my regular store with a staff that worked hard to meet my needs. The young man who waited on me this time was less than helpful. He didnt understand what I was looking for in a Group 27M (marine deep cycle) sealed battery. After some coaching while touring the automotive batteries, he took me to a stand labeled motorcycle batteries and said This is what we have. His reply to my objection, Oh, this is what you need. We just didnt change the sign yet I left & went to the Greenfield Ave store and in less than 10 minutes left with a $200+ battery. I guess I have a new favorite store!

Dave was amazing! I called from Auto Zone with questions once I discovered they didnt install batteries. He didnt make me feel bad for not knowing if my car was a 2.0 or 2.5 (Or something like that lol) and quickly said hed check both just in case. He was thorough and polite when he answered my questions. Im glad I grabbed his name over the phone. From the moment I walked in and said Dave? youd think wed met before. He was quick, efficient, educating and provided several add-ons without coming off pushy. ( I am a 25 year in retail manager myself) I went with both add-ons by the way. I will definitely be back if I need another battery! Professionalism seems to be a lost art but he proved otherwise. Great job Dave! Thanks again.

Don’t waste your time like I did…What an unpleasant experience I had at the Brookfield, WI Batteries Plus store yesterday.I needed a CR2330 3V lithium battery, which in knowing that I could order a five-pack from Amazon with free same-day delivery for about the same price as a single battery at Batteries Plus, I made a deliberate decision, as I often do, to support my local retailer in that I am a small local business owner myself.Unfortunately I must report that it was the wrong choice in this case.In first entering the store I checked for the battery at the appropriate display but it was not there despite the website showing the product “In stock”.In seeking assistance I only see two Batteries Plus guys busy at the checkout area who are attending to a fairly short customer queue so I get in line. Despite only two customers ahead of me at each register it takes nearly five minutes to advance to the checkout counter.In waiting to advance I become acutely aware of the lack of line movement in noticing that every time someone calls the store asking if a particular battery or light bulb is in stock the Batteries Plus guys stop whatever they are doing to make the incoming call their utmost priority until the call is completed.While standing in line while multiple people call in to be served to their complete satisfaction ahead of me, I begin regretting not using Amazon to obtain an item that would have been delivered with free same-day service right to my doorstep with one easy click of my mouse button.When I finally get to the register and ask the Batteries Plus guy for the CR2330, he spends a minute or two searching the store for the elusive item, finds it, and starts ringing up the sale.Right in the middle of my much-delayed transaction the phone rings where my Batteries Plus guy immediately takes the call and fully devotes himself to the task of providing for the caller’s needs ahead of mine.After it becomes evident it is not going to be a short/simple call and it is obvious that my purchase is going to be further delayed at my expense due to this rather unsavory practice, I interrupt the Batteries Plus guy to ask why he has chosen to make the incoming phone call a priority over my business transaction after I have waited so long?The Batteries Plus guy blows-off my legitimate consumer question/concern with “I will be with you in a minute” and then totally abandons me in mid-transaction to run off in an urgent search of the store shelves for some item that a random caller has inquired about.When the Batteries Plus guy fails to return in short order, I see him across the store and call out to him seeking his return to the cash register to allow me to finish my purchase; to which he does finally advance across the store towards me--though unfortunately not to complete my in-process transaction but rather in making rather stern demand that I not yell at him across the store.The Batteries Plus guy #2 sees/hears whats going on and wisely interjects indicating that he will assist me when he is done with his current transaction while further stating that they are told that they must make all incoming phone calls a priority. I asked who insists on such an in-store-customer-unfriendly policy to learn that it was the store manager, which the website shows as being “Zach Mathews”.I shared my thoughts that perhaps the right thing to do would be to answer the phone to ask the “caller” to wait a minute while they finished assisting the in-store customer they were currently serving where then another customer in the adjacent register line espoused his support of such a rudimentary retail store customer service concept.Mr. Matthews, I will not be back to your store again. I would like to know if this a Zach Matthews-specific policy or should I expect similar ill-treatment at all Batteries Plus stores?

Trying to get a google Pixel 2 screen replaced, only the original shows up on the website. Called in to Grandview blvd store, told it was in stock at the Brookfield location. Go there, its only for the original pixel. Told that they will order the part and ask if it can be for the Grandview store. Thought I was all set until I called today and the part was never ordered.

Absolutely Horrible – incompetence beyond beliefAs Square Trade’s preferred (and only) approved service centers for cell phone repair, this Batteries Plus Bulbs lacks even the basic skilled technicians to service a smartphone. Initially contacted to repair a Samsung Galaxy S8, they didn’t have the correct parts in stock and said they would order them; I could come in in 2 weeks to have the phone repaired. After waiting 2 weeks, and calling them to ensure they had received the correct parts, they couldn’t find any record of the request and said they would place them on order and again have to wait two weeks; they would call me. After waiting for more than 2 weeks, I called again and was told that one of the parts was on back order but should be received in a couple more weeks… so I waited. Again, waiting 2 more weeks, I called – and was told the vendor sent the wrong part so they had to order it again, but it would be received within the week. I waited 10 days and called again because I had received no call to find out that they had everything they needed to repair the phone. I went in on a Sunday morning at 11:00 to have the phone repaired and was told that, “The guy who normally fixes phones wouldn’t be in until after 1 pm” but the guy that was there, Bryce, said he would read the manual and try to fix it. So, I walked over to Starbucks and waited… and waited… and waited… only to get a call to find out that the part they ordered wasn’t enough to fix the problem. I went back and was told that the part they needed to fix the problem wasn’t available from their vendor and they couldn’t fix the phone. WHAT???!!! They put the phone back together and I went on my way 4 hours after going it to have it fixed which followed almost 8 weeks of screwups from the “ordering parts” perspective. I had to send it Square Trade and they replaced the phone. What a waste of time! This was the worst customer service experience I ever had!

Everything about this transaction was spot on, from the online ordering to the pick up at the store 3mi. away. The HUGE sticking point for me however, is the fact that the Batteries+ website showed my CR123a batteries were the Streamlight brand, and when I picked them up I was given batteries branded as Nuon. I dont know that theyre any better or any worse, but I specifically went through Batt+ because I wanted the Streamlight brand. The clerk said, This is what we have and what we sell. She was kind and helpful, and it wasnt her fault, but by this time I *needed* the batteries and had to take them.
