Coffee and tea drinks, but the place really shines with the fudge selection! Right around 10 different flavors (choc/caramel w/peanuts, cookies and cream, orange vanilla, amaretto, etc -- but availability does vary, flavors change on a regular basis), can order a square or by the ounce/pound, and allowed to ask for a sample. Definitely ask for like 2-3 samples and walk out with a few ounces of your favorite one, its so yummy! Overall, the place is usually pretty quiet -- nice to sit and enjoy a hot drink, do any studying or reading, and revel in some of that fudge.

Stopped by and ordered various drinks for ten. Three orders later, we left with the drinks, ten emoji Oreos and a pound of fudge. The young gals working were fantastic. They were fun. When we come back, we will stop. Keep it up girls!

My girlfriend loves going here and I love going with her even though I dont like coffee all that much. I usually get hot chocolate when its cold or a creme frappe when its hot.

I love Choco Latte! Its by far my fav coffee shop in town. The staff are so nice, and the lady I think is the owner, shes so sweet! She recognizes me everytime I come through and makes me feel special. If youve never been here, you should definitely stop by! Oh and the coffee and fudge are amazing. I also like the scones and muffins!

Certain cities necessitate certain stops when traveling through. Brookings, SD is known as the home of Choco Latte for us. Absolutely delicious coffee and treats matched only by its welcoming, cozy, family-oriented atmosphere. Conveniently located off the interstate, its a sure stop when passing through.

My little sister went to school at SDSU. I was just visiting her. Then this place ruined coffee for me!  Ever since my visit I have been disappointed in all coffee since. These events took place about 2ish years ago I believe.It all started with pulling up to the drive thru. My sister wanted something to warm her up in the winter and who am I to deny my baby sister.As I creek up to the microphone menu terminal thing I hear a pleasant voice welcoming me to their establishment. Putting me into a happy trance. She asks for my order and I awkwardly place my sisters complicated order. Similar to a child repeating what their parents are telling them to say to grandma on the phone.Once the dreaded instructions that are longer then the manual on how to fly a plane, it is time. But I havent thought that far ahead. Oh what shall I do.While in this happy trance the kind voice from the magical coffee order box put me in, I say with full confidence Can I get one of those fufu coffee drink things. Hot but like not super sweet?.The voice giggled and responds Ummm sure do you know what kind of flavor that is?. After a bit of back and forth friendly banter my order comes down to this What ever you think is best. Ill trust you fully. You know clearly know more about this then I do. And she rattled off instructions similar to the manual my sister had my provide her. To this day i have no idea what that arcane language was. However i regret not memorizing it into my soul. For I would forever regret that decision.Before the box dismissed me to approach her at the window she ask. Would you like any pastry with that? And in my happy daze I said If you recommend anything to go with it then Ill take that. Otherwise no. This was... if not... the best decision I ever made in my life.After receiving my total I get to the window. I received not only a cup of the sweet nectar given to me by the coffee goddesses that work at this establishment. But also a blueberry scone. And... it was warm!After this kind lady hands me my order I drive forward not wanting to hold up the line. As I begin my drive I had to pull over because when I took a sip of this coffee. It was the BEST thing I have ever had. I didnt know coffee could taste this good. But wait it gets worse.The scone. Oh the blueberry scone. Heck even blueberries in general. How did I never experience the explosion of your taste prior to this. I dont know what crazy concoction of witchcraft and scientific mastery they did on these two seemingly simple but amazingly complex items. But combined was like experiencing life at its fullest. The explosion of the blueberry mixing with the subtle smoothness of the coffee...If I was a weaker man I would of cried tears of joy. However, this place has since ruined coffee for me. I still drink the stuff. But it leaves a bit of sadness as I will never experience the greatness that is the coffee again.Also, the staff at the window that also took my order was amazing. My only other regret was not catching her name. But who ever you were Ms Barista. I appreciate you!

I stopped to get a quick coffee when I was in town and I’m very impressed! Espresso was smooth and the flavor was delicious. The young lady at the drive thru was very pleasant!! Will definitely stop again!

Party platters of delight!! If you are hosting or invited to a holiday party and need a yummy treat to share, Choco Latte is the go to place. Donna is an absolute dream to work with! I had a snafu with a few gifts for businesses that didnt arrive, I went into Choco Latte and Donna made up the most beautiful holiday treat platter. It was gorgeous to look at and delicious. Amazing place, amazing people and amazing coffee and goodies.

--- COVID-19 Times review ---The location:Easy to find, its in the strip mall across the street from Walmart in Brookings. Clear signage!The place:I didnt go in due to The Pandemic Times, but the drive-thru was easy to find. The menu is easy to read, but didnt have the holiday menu included. Luckily, Id looked at the Facebook page for Choco Latte earlier that morning and I was able to ask questions about what was available.The service:The service at Choco Latte was superb. Sitting at a drive-thru and asking the barista (through a mask) about the holiday specials while she explained (through a mask) was the specials were, I could still hear her smile. This barista made my morning with her patience and kindness.The drinks:Butter cookie spice mocha - AMAZING. I could taste just the right amount of spice, sweetness, and richness. Beautiful.Cinnamon French toast latte - Delectable. Tastes like breakfast.Next time:Ill take another look at the holiday menu so I can work down the list. I would absolutely go back.

When I need to pick up coffee on the way to work this is where I stop. Every employee there is incredibly cheerful without becoming off-putting. I always get the same drink, their Cafe Mocha. Ive enjoyed it every time. They also serve fudge and other candy, but I havent had any just yet.

If you are from out of town and looking for a pick-me-up, this is the place to go for several reasons:1) They make the best espresso in town.2) You dont have to get out of your car and it is not far off the interstate.3) It is a local business, and you can definitely tell. The owner always remembers me, and is genuinely passionate about what she does. The other baristas are also always upbeat, and great with recommendations if you arent sure what to choose.4) They are FAST. Ive been to other places in town and literally had to wait 30 minutes for a latte. I have never waited more than a few minutes here, even when they were really busy.

Had a delicious iced coffee and a blueberry scone. They also sell fudge that they offered a free sample of and I got a bag of chocolate covered espresso beans to take home as well. On a Saturday afternoon there were several people here in small groups or working on laptops. They do have a drive-thru as well.

This week was the very first week that I have visited Choco Latte. I was VERY impressed with everything! The environment is comfortable, the service was terrific and my coffee (Iced Caramel Sauce Latte) tasted fantastic every time! I will definitely be returning.
