So this is my experience at the shop. I went to Brooklyn Car Audio to get carplay & back-up camera installed and paid $800 to get job done. My experience was okay because they did amazing job on installing. However, the only thing that I give them 4 starts because of over charging. I searched all products online and saw that they charged at least x2 price on an item. For example, I paid $150 for back-up camera which I searched a same brand on amazon only costed me $17-20ish and also paid $99 for metra dash kit for mini cooper r56 (google search it’s only $17 on BestBuy). I was so surprised and disappointed on the pricing. I rather they charge me extra for labor cost than products since I am really sensitive when I see the actual products’ prices. Anyway, good service but you should check the price of products and negotiate with them if possible.Update: After writing this review, I got a phone call from the shop. Over the phone, the shop explained everything in detail why they charged me this price. Subsequently, I being clarified with the pricing and offered discount for next visiting. Overall, the shop ensure everyone happy, and their customer service is very impressed me. I appreciate they reached out to me.

I went in to add an additional remote to the security system I had the team at Brooklyn audio install a year ago. I explain my situation to Ramsey, he went ahead and order the part I would need. Friendly and helpful staff. Got tints on my F36 BMW which requires a bit more attention because of how the windows operate when the doors open and close and they did it an excellent job getting it looking nice and clean! They also offer a lifetime warranty on tints which covers potential instalation defects.

I have a 2008 mini van with the old stereo and CD player. I brought it to Brooklyn Car Audio to have apple car play and a rearview camera installed and they did a great job! Ask for Guy, he knows his stuff and is honest. At no point did I feel Guy was giving me the run around.The installation was also seamless. They technicians did a great job installing the camera and new stereo. I have a dash cam cord in my car and the technician helped hide the cord when he installed my new stereo. If you need a new stereo installed I highly recommend coming to these guys! Theyre super friendly and really know what theyre doing.

The customer service is great! And prices are competitive, I had a new audio system installed along with rear backup camera and new horn. Had an issue with the deck, and these guys were very accommodating and worked it out with me. Super nice guys. Come early. It’s always packed!

Did my research to find a good detail shop that does window tinting. Can across Brooklyn Car & Audio Securtiy. My window tinting was done by Andre. He did an amazing job, and the customer service was A+Window tinting service was done in 2hrs.

Shout out to Brooklyn audio. It took more than a couple hours but guess you can’t rush perfection. they hooked my audio up. They actually take your budget into consideration. Very knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend Brooklyn Audio for all your car needs.

Once they take your money all they do is make fake promises. They claimed their products are new but i think they charging people full price for refurbished product because as soon i left the shop stuff stopped working or not working properly which doesn’t make sense if they are new and unopened product. They will make fake promises by telling you that they will reach out to the company and call you back once they receive new products, but they never do. I got tired of reaching out to them for updates. This shop can’t be trusted. I will not spend a dime there.

Awesome place! These guys know what theyre doing. Ive used them twice now in the last month, I first went there to have my backup sensor system installed. They did such an amazing job, that I went back again cause I was having a little issue with my car stereo, I ended up leaving with an in bash Pioneer GPS system with android auto installed, and like with the backup sensors, they did a beautiful job! They pay attention to all the small details that Im still noticing. Real super job! Thanks guys

THis place is the only shop I have taken both my cars. About 8 years ago I used them to install a DVD player and rear view camera in my Infiniti G37 and haven’t needed to do anything since.Their service was so great I remembered 8 years later when I wanted to go and tint my new Jeep Wrangler and add a subwoofer amp as well as back up camera.On top of that Ramzie who is the guy who will help you with anything you need helped tap a wire of mine for one of my fog lights and ran it to my switch bar pillar.The service and expertise is second to none.I am excited to use my JL Audio Woofer and Alpine Amp In the summer when all my doors and tops are off.I would recommend these guys 100 out of 100 times.Also the service is done in a very reasonable time. I called up other shops and they would t even see me without an appointment which was like 2 weeks later. These guys took me same day and finished everything within one day.

Update. See pictures. Stay awayI paid around $700 for a very mediocre backup camera and almost $300 to get my windows tinted. I got a Bluetooth system but it wasnt good at all. Ended up replacing it with something i got on Amazon for $60. Only thing they did right was mess up my radio

I brought in my car, because a factory installed Bose speaker was blown. I picked out a pair of replacement speakers, and they go to work. The installer comes out with the speaker, and says, Its not blown. The backing came off. He glues the backing on, and reinstalls the original speaker.My system sounds as good as new. It was refreshing to deal with an honest, and competent company.

I recently had some work on my car done here and I have only one complaint and that is the amount of time an installation takes here im a very impatient person so I know this shouldnt bother me but it did however I want the job done right and they do excellent work so next time I go here I will deff drop the car off and leave and that is my advice to everyone on here other then that I had an excellent experience my salesman guy was very knowledgeable and helpful and this place gives great prices especially for the quality of work they give you I highly recommend them and they just gained themselves a customer for life

I really want to give this place no star but that is not allowed. This is my second time going back to this tint shop to get my tints redone over for the messy job they did the first time. Especially, since they do not offer any exchanges or refunds, I cannot get my money back. First time, they left the tints dirty on the film itself on my car and pasted it and left mad bubbles told me I might have to wait a month. I work with them and waited a little over a month still bubbles, still dirty. I work hard for my money they dont have a clue I came back let them know that it needs to be done over why the second job is worst than the first. You see a lot of bubbles on certain windows they didnt even change the back window left with the same jack up laid tints and think I dont notice. Avoid this place to get your tints done you will be back no matter the price, if its a sale more than a fail. Good luck!

After going to several shops for the last couple of weeks and being told because I had the larger screen on my dodge I was unable to change the radio then I came here and spoke with guy he went and did his research he told me that it’s always possible however it may be custom with no guarantee of me doing the work he made several phone calls and finally spoke to the manufacturer who makes the trim for my car and they told him it is possible it would just requisite additional programming because he took the time out to actually check for me and not force me into just adding features on my old radio I don’t want to do I really respected the effort I was very happy with the work and courtesy I would recommend you people reading this to ask for him specifically he will treat you fair and he explains step by step very well good job guy (if those other shops had taken the time this young man had they would have had my business but I’m glad they didn’t it was worth the wait)

Great Service! Guy gave great advice on what my options were to help me make a great decision. Told him I wanted more bass and he gave me my options from just a subwoofer to a full system with amp and new speakers.
