Absolute professional, quick to reply and keep me updated on the progress and even went above expectations on small little details of my guitar! Charles is the guitar whisperer man. I just needed some truss rod adjustments and get things intonated on a strat and a Jackson with a Floyd Rose. He nailed it like a romanian gymnist!!! They sound and feel great and he even installed a custom trem lock for me! Fast work and fair pricing, this is your guy!!! Ill be running every one of my guitars through him for anything they might need done.

Charles is a great guy and he always does a perfect job on my guitars. He’s just one of those guys that’s clearly a master of his craft. I’m moving out of town and I’m sad that I’ll have to find a new place to get my guitars worked on.

Excellent, high quality, friendly service! I took a guitar to get the active pickups replaced with passive ones. Charles did an amazing job replacing the pickups and active electronics and did it in a surprisingly short amount of time. He’s definitely passionate about what he does and makes sure his customers are happy. I would highly recommend him for anyone who needs work done on their guitar.

Charles is a consummate pro and a great resource to know for guitar repairs and custom cab builds. He runs a shop out of his place and knows his stuff well. I needed some wiring redone on my Schecter electric and he was prompt to respond and great to work with. In my case he was able to return it with same day repairs and offered a lifetime warranty on the repair itself. Some of the big box stores wont touch your gear and I miss the days of doing business directly with craftsmen who know what theyre doing. Highly recommend, and will be coming back for all of my guitar maintenance needs.

Charles at Colorado Guitar Works is my new go to guy for all my guitar needs. He did a thorough inspection of my new used Taylor acoustic. Id originally brought it in for a setup and truss-rod adjustment. He cleaned the guitar and changed the strings, but recommended against the truss-rod adjustment. I appreciate his honesty, quality work, and expert opinions. Charles even gave me recommendations for keeping the guitar in best shape, including humidification.

Id just purchased a new guitar, and as an amateur, wanted to make sure I took it someplace reputable to get it set up. Guitar Center left me feeling less than confident, but a quick search found Colorado Guitar Works for be. I reached out the Charles, the proprietor, and his confidence and service focused attitude made me certain Id found the right place. I dropped my guitar off, and within a few hours he called to let me know that it was in great shape, and only needed a few small adjustments. It was ready the next day, and even though I felt as though his talents could have demanded a much higher rate, he charged me much less than I expected. My guitar sounds great, and needless to say, I wont be taking my instruments anywhere else.

SO glad I found Charlie! He’s a great guy, with great skills getting my guitars back in business. His prices are reasonable, takes great care with your instruments, and gets guitars on and off his bench really quickly.

What an amazing guy, and business man. I had a guitar that I had inherited from my father that had passed 30 years ago. Long story short, this was the only item of my fathers that I recieved after his passing. My sisters received nothing. I had decided to gift it to my older sister for Christmas after she had mentioned wanting to take guitar lessons. It was in desperate need of some new strings and a tune up. I took it to Charles and he cleaned it up and made it sound great. Its an older Harmony Stratocaster. I called him the day before Christmas eve and it was ready for pick up Christmas eve. When he went to show me the sound, he played the song that played at my father funeral and I almost burst into tears! I felt like my father was there in that moment. He was very kind, and sweet. Thank you Charles for making my Christmas. My sister cried and promised to learn to play stairway to heaven. :)

I took two epiphone 335 pros to Charles to address fret issues, truss rod adjustment and action. From the moment I met Charles his passion for craftsmanship and detail were obvious. He looked at my guitar and made an honest assessment on current condition and what was needed. There is no substitute for having your guitar worked on by a professional musician with passion for the craft. He set up my guitars like they were his own. For the level of detail and quality of work, his prices are unbeatable. My Epiphone 335’s now are the best playing guitars I own now (including a Gibson Les paul and 339). I haven’t been able to put them down. I am taking all my future guitar work to Charles at Colorado Guitar Works. Don’t overlook him.
