Awesome place to get a bunch of awesome food!
HOT off the PRESSES .. 🚨 alert: I think I have a new favorite shop 🧀😵💫 …after a brief solo gaze upon the case, I asked for suggestions regarding a ‘hideously pungent’ rindy cheese, and she instantly became my muse. Lovely. There are surprises in & around every nook of this rustic little shop. And the eye candy! Cheeses, meats, wine … bitters ! If you do not know this is here, you could walk right on past it ~ Don’t let it happen! At the register, there are discoid carrot cakes which resemble the yeasty aging rind of a mutant cheese. Jump in my basket. Please. My sales associate was charming & beautiful and helpful and lovely … Thank you for that infectious smile and whimsical air, cheesegirl. My pungent, rindy Flora was wrapped hideously, but with cunning and playful abandon. I am a happy guy and I will definitely return to this brilliant gem.In a godforsaken state where there is a WeedMart about every 2.7 miles on any stretch of town road … it is refreshingly beautiful to have a CheeseMart close by and ready to remedy any challenge the day brings.Readers: do yourselves a favor and visit Vessel & Vine, Brunswick.🫒🧀🍷
Lovely selection of natural wines and tempting food! The shopkeeper could not have been kinder and more understanding about my geriatric dog, who made a mess in the shop. Thank you for a bright moment in a tough day.
Great atmosphere and delicious drinks. We didnt get any food, but thats nothing against the place. Theres a porch for when its nice, and a cozy interior when its not. Will definitely be back.
Wonderful creative cocktails and locally sourced light fare from the talented owner. Love her events and small shop with vintage glass and carefully selected wines and bar supplies. Dont miss a chance to stop in!
Great food and drinks in an awesome environment. The owner was very friendly and accommodating.
This is a one of a kind space that I cant reccomend more. The owner takes the time to listen and help you find exactly what youre looking for without pressure. Its a comfortable spot for drinks and small plates. I cant wait to spend more time here!
Kind, knowledgeable people offering an excellent, curated selection of wine, fine beverages, and tasty food. I am so happy to have them in our community!
This was one of the most amazing places I have been in a long time in the Brunswick area. The food (tapas style) and drinks were amazing and very tasty. The owner cuts the meat platter (charcuterie) to order... not sure of any place that still does this. There is also a little store inside with clothing, wine, and other small items for sale. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing night out at a place with an incredible atmosphere.
I just happened to see this place as I was driving past Pleasant Street and decided to pop in. This is a hidden gem! Very nice ambiance and warm feeling as you walk in. I tried a drink and a little bite of spread with mushrooms and brussel sprouts. It tasted Fantastic. I DEFINITELY will be coming back here and next time will bring friends. They do not serve meals here, so this place is good for before a show or a late night date night.
Awesome drink, Rachel is an amazing bartender.. great vibe and music as well.
Great drinks. Wonderful selection of cheese. Tasty all around.
I love the friendly local vibe and personal touch. They also offer cooking and drink making classes which I hope to take advantage of soon. They have an interesting selection of vermouth and amaro
Bottle shop (mostly wines) and bar with a good vibe. Always a nice selection of wines by the glass, they do a full range of cocktails, and the small plates are great.
Fairly generous wine pours, had the meat and cheese plate and there was a lot of very high end food on the plate for the price. Its an interesting concept and I hope they do well.
Such a pleasant surprise to find this treasure in our back yard! A tiny wine and cocktail bar that punches way above its weight. Whoever has constructed the wine selection knows their stuff. Unusual and excellent value wines, to include Saparavi (Republic of Georgia), and some standout South African bottles. In addition to these unique, outstanding, relatively unknown wines (but therefore undervalued with great prices!), theres also a surprisingly broad group of carefully selected more standard European and American bottles. This place is great. A fantastic addition to Brunswick, and an establishment that wouldnt be out of place in Portland or even Boston.
Funky ambiance...good wine selections...ordered a starter took 40 plus minutes...ended up cancelling it
Quirky place with good drinks.
Not much to be said other than a unique and comfortable atmosphere with excellent cocktails.
Beautiful, eclectic yet organised setting for a wine shop + wine bar café. Relaxing environment, and the wine selection is thoughtful and favours wines from smaller producers.
Fresh oysters and knowledgable staff
Lovely little spot!
