I love this Flying J, just before Jacksonville its a good place to stop for breakfast and shower. Stayed for a 10 hour and got girlfriend food for the night drive. Manager told us about their deal of wings & pizza, even let girlfriend try the smoked wings before us ordering them. Friendly staff is a big + in my book. I have seen a lot of nasty reviews, this Flying J has been here for a long time. Its hard to keep things clean Its old, they would have to remodel. In most part if customers would stop trashing out the place and then turn around and complain about it. It wouldnt be that bad, guess some guests werent taught proper hygiene and respect others stuff. To the manger and staff working, thank you for making this experience good, p.s. girlfriend loved the smoked wings

Couldn’t get a shower in the morning. Nobody seems to be assigned to prepare them. No notice. No apology. Denny’s was acceptable and appreciated it being open. Ok place to stop for the night then keep going… Lacking and food at the truck stop. Skeleton crew?

Make sure you check your stuff before you buy. Bought some chips and they expired a month ago . Then went back and they had chips that expired in 2017. They had one salad and it look like it’s been there for about 2 weeks it’s self. Then when I went to go get a refund the old witch at the register made it seem like I was crazy? No I just spent 4$ for a 1$ bag off old chips give me my money!

Mens Restroom Out of paper towel, hand dryer is not working.That means after you washed your hands, keep them wet...But dont worry, as an over the road truck driver, and I been visited hundreds pilot/flying J locations,this is just about average...The Dennys waitress warned me before I order my food, she saidthe cook just got here,there must be a long wait.Then I got this shredded raw potatoes in my omelette. but they call this hash brown Btw, the mushroom was not cooked either.If wasnt because I was out of HOS time,I would never come here or any other pilot/flying j locations again.

Customer waiting in the line, cashiers having chat behind the desk. My luck maybe or all the time items packing in the bags wrong way. You dont put salad upside down in the bag to fit more item. You put the salad right way and if there are no space, you use another bag for the next items. Also anytime i stop by, no ranch dressing. Always no ranch dressing. That means that you should order more ranch dressing to your store more than usual quantity. Bathrooms are ridicilously dirty.

The service was sad at best. I have never written a bad review about anywhere I have been. They made us wait a hour on two double burgers. They refused to take new customers for 15 to20 minutes. Because of door dash they said. There were only six people in the whole place. Sorry for the review..

The people were so kind when we asked to park our motorhome overnight. The lot was well lit, and we felt safe. There was minimal noise. Definitely will stay there again. Thanks!!!

Im a driver and was in need of a shower. Stopped here and was the worst mistake ever. It looked like this room had never been cleaned or dusted. Mold, dust, and water stains everywhere. If this is what a clean shower room is supposed to look like then the person responsible for cleaning it needs to be fired. Absolutely horrible!!!!! Will never be back again. Save your money and shower elsewhere.

Really liked this Flying J not just for gas and food but bathrooms clean, big lot to park, walk dog, rest, even with several trailers in lot, still lots of space & felt safe. Denny’s has wifi, massage chairs $1 for 3 mins!! I’ll be back!

Dennys was a great restaurant! Food was great and the service was outstanding. Went there for lunch two days in a row. Will definitely be back.

Used the restroom bought some lotto tickets, a couple slices of pizza and some fresh hot coffee. All was good!

This place is constantly filthy. Their Cappuccino machine never works properly. Coffee bar is never properly stocked and most employees are always rude. I refuse to be a returning customer.

The showers are awful and nasty. The ventilation fan was broken so there was water dripping down everywhere. I have been to a couple of other pilots across the country and cant say the showers/stores were any better. After this experience, I told my husband Im DONE. No more pilots. But on the plus side, the check-out girl was very nice.

Ive been coming here for over 5 years now, and it has went down in quality with every passing year. The past 6 months has been especially horrendous. The pumps rarely work. The showers are always broken or filthy. I truly hate that this is where I have to come so often. Even their employees have went down in quality. I wish my company would use someone else for their fueling. This place has become a pathetic excuse for a business.

They have lazy workers here there is a truck that is taking up two parking spaces I paid for one and the only thing the lady told me was that she can just refund me my money no I want what I paid for why do have to go out here and do your job it’s two of you one of them could have went out there and handle it while other one manned the front counter simple right.... never happen all she wanted to do was refund me my money and not deal with it and gave me an attitude smh

We stop at FlyingJ or Pilot gas as often as we can. We like the consistent service and product. I was touched to see the military Fallen/ Missing Soldier table at the entrance set for Christmas. They are gone year round and I am sure any Gold Star family or friends appreciate the jester also. Table meanings in picture below.

First review i read spoke my thoughts exactly. This used to be a good stop but has gotten to be poorly staffed, poorly stocked and obviously poorly managed. Taking my business elsewhere.

I’m a frequent Pilot/FlyingJ temporary resident. Showers are horrible. The whole property needs a level 3 cleaning. This is not what I have come to expect from Pilot/FlyingJ. You need to see what TA is doing across the street.

Sadly flying J seems to be going downhill at a high rate of speed. I cant say that really anything appeared to be very clean.

As an OTR driver it’s what you expect. And a much better stop than PFJ options within 100 miles. Good showers, Denny’s is always better than a subway, and pretty quiet place given the area it’s in. If your northbound, definitely go here over the one in port wentworth.

Fuel island for big trucks was down and being finicky no one in the store knew how to fix it no markers were put out to notify drivers. Backing my truck up to go to the next fuel Lane after next fuel Lane was not exactly what I call a good night

Lazy ! They do not clean the showers at night so they prefer to close them and let the day crew clean at 6 am. This is ridiculous. Bathroom are disgusting too! Nasty and broken toilets and door

Came here to use the showers, really bad idea.I was in a rush, I thought this truck stop was gonna have cleaner than normal showers but I was wrong. Went in to the shower and immediately saw a wash cloth hanging on one of the hooks, it was used. I showered as fast as I could, and as it is I dont like to touch the floor and the walls because I never know if they cleaned the shower properly, this time it confirmed it. I didnt even touch the sinc faucet.So I showered and came outside to wait for my copilot. My shower was next to my copilots, so i was right outside. Saw the employee go in to my showered and came out kicking the towels I used and left on the floor. I figured he dried the floor and the shower walls and figured he was coming back with some sort of spray bottle to spray walls and other areas. Nope, he closed the doors and click to reset shower for next customer. After what I saw I kept thinking I was gonna notified the manager but I forgot to do it. I know for a fact i will not stop here again. And I put 2 stars because the cashier was very friendly. To anyone who come to shower here I just wanna say, do not do it. This showers are not being cleaned properly. If you have to do it, take your own towels too, if the showers are like that, whos to say the towels are not the same. Use some shower shoes(flip-flops). Or take your own cleaning(disinfectant) supplies. Im not a picky person but this one takes the cake.

Massive parking lot. Could sit outside on a beach chair and not worry about hogging space. Looks quite safe too. Restrooms and showers were also clean and fresh. Keep it up and stay safe!

I have been reading the negative reviews on this place I was a little hesitant about stopping on my way back to Charleston South Carolina. however I am very glad I did the appearance was excellent the rest rooms were clean the attendant went above and beyond the call of duty to assist me with finding something that my kids could eat. Overall I would suggest if you were stopping this would be the best option!! Kudos to the management 😁😁!

Terrible shower experience. Showers are tiny, unclean and the hot & cold water is backwards. And... The employee cleaning the showers was blaring inappropriate rap music so loud I could hear every word even while the shower was running.There were 7 people in line at the register and one of the cashiers was on her cell phone.We wont be stopping here again.

The extremely high amount of trash hovering over the dumpster was not easy to look at but parking lot was clean even though there was no trash cans. Denny’s has the best food I have ever gotten at a Denny’s and there customer service was impressive. Customer service at Flying J was good but showers need renovation. Just standing under shower head meant having the temperature control knob sticking into my chest or back. Previous tenants droppings still coating inner toilet wasn’t the first thing I wanted to see when entering shower and sink looked like it had never had a REAL cleaning. Tables for drivers to eat, lounge and game room as well as plenty of available parking will definitely have me returning for another visit.

It wasnt the best one I have been to but it definitely wasnt the worst. I feel that it could have been cleaner especially the showers. The shower did get warm though so that is a plus. The staff were mostly nice and helpful but I think they needed more help. The one older lady working cashier wasnt very pleasant and had a terrible attitude.. She seemed like she didnt want to be there.. Everyone else was great though. Especially the little guy working the showers he was great and was working his tail off!!

Theres plenty of stuff to get into in this one stop gas station. Gas an food items, even if you forgot to pick up a last minute gift to someone your traveling to see, they will likely have something. Each Travel Center will have some sort of food place inside. An yes there regularly health inspected for quality safe foods. There always clean down to the restrooms. The gas is usually cheaper by far an you can find them from the east coast to the west coast even truckers have diesel pumps to fill up there big rigs. We all trusted them for our needs..

If you need gas for your car after 9pm Flying J is a good place. I noticed that most gas stations are closed at that time.You can also get something to eat at that late hour too.Its well light and easy to find.

Run down and in need of TLC. Showers tiny and leaking water from every faucet. Toilets in 2 showers run for 3 minutes after flushing. John the manager nice and accommodating. Rest of staff needs help with customer service.

I drive down south quite often and stop here a few times out of the year. They are very friendly and always clean. Bathrooms are very clean.

This stop is very clean, well stocked, and spacious. It also has a Dennys attached to it. The restrooms are usually pretty clean and Ive never had that creepy vibe I get at some large truck stops. They do offer showers here but Ive never used them. They have a wide variety of grab and go foods, drinks, and souvenir type stuff.

Colleen one the Clerk she’s very rude. A few of the customer notice how rude she is also employees. she need more customer service training. I will not be present when she’s present, she don’t deserve a one star zero star for her.

The Dennys here has been hit and miss for as long as I can remember, with the exception being long time server Sandra. She has always been great! The food quality here has improved sharply in the last few months. Kudos to mgmt!

Dont waste your time getting a shower. The shower I got had no water pressure nor did it even get warm. But it was a good thing because here is June in South GA. and there was 0 air in the shower. Even though not by choice took a cold shower by the time I gathered my things I sweating like pig. Employee said I will let them know and no offer to credit back a shower. No wonder Loves T/S had a 45min wait on showers. Others already knew.

The RV Dump Station has been shut down. Absolutely no RV dumping services. The washing machines arent as modern as the ones further North.Other than that has ample parking for RVs.

Decent fuel prices, but higher prices than the discounted prices they used to have compared to others. Hot food to go inside the store, chicken fingers really good pizza (11 dollars for a large! Awesome!) theyll make a pizza while you wait if you dont like what they have already cooked, burgers, fries, etc.. Several fountain drink machines, all sorts of trinkets and memorabilia, hats, atm machine, many types of fuel additives and oils etc for cars and trucks. Great place to pick things you may need on the road. If it was a little cleaner outside, Id give it a 5 as opposed to a 4 star review. Really needs to be a 4.5.. Its a good place.

Ok this is the real deal. A true truck stop do not confused it with its sister store Pilot, owned by the same company. After I retired from military/government I bought a F150 and slide in camper and toured the USA for two years. Flying J take a shower, sleep in the lot, get a good meal (trucker), replace equipment, and just general hang out. this is an acquired taste place.

Ive talked to the manger a couple times now about the hot water in the showers being only warm. Nothing has been done in a month now. Im hoping #flyingj corporate can come do an inspection to see why we can not get hot water in showers. Thank you

Dennys at the Flying J in Brunswick was phenom! This place was super clean and the wait staff very friendly. Our waitress Sandy was wonderful. The food was awesome.

This is one AWESOME travel stop! Not only is there a general gas station store but also a couple good food options. The bathrooms were very big and clean. Lota of tables to sit inside the AC and cool down for a break.

Asked for a carton of cigarettes. She didnt know, didnt ask. She said to the next customer come over here. Guess I was the wrong color!

This place needs a thorough cleaning....The floors are filthy especially in the drivers lounge and laundry area.Approaching Dennys inside the store smells like a musky old building.The trash cans smell even after being emptied probably due to leaking bags and not ever being washed out.Come on Pilot is better than that.or atleast I thought yall were.The floors need a good scrubbing as well.

If you are travelling its a good place to stop and stretch your legs. Clean bathrooms and dinning area. Very busy place thats a good sign. Plus lots of neat stuff to look at in the store

Nice place to stop and get a coffee and a soda. or a hot dog or anything in between. Some the bathroom are in need of service. Sometimes the cashiers are too overworked to be friendly. Nice overall place to gas up and get a quick bite.

Very nice and easy I-95 access.. The store has a great floor plan and I wss greeted immediately.. The many fresh offerings include pizza.. I wish I was not trying to lose a few pounds.. The pizza salted the air with great appeal.. Parking is safe and secure.. Probally the best stop in the area enjoy.🔤😀🐟🐡

Nice showers, good atmosphere, customer service is average and little bit above average .Now, with that said, the fans in showers really need cleaning, like pass due. The restaurant has good customer service but when you first walk in, you can smell the stuffiness or Mildew from cleaning the carpet, like it might need to add odor ban or febreeze or something.And those things is why I didnt give it a 5 star rating. But who cares what I think.

To my surprise !! Unattended. No creamer ( half n half) coffee 2 of 4 empty. Water not mix came out of cappuccino machine.. Girl over whelmed it appeared. But truthfully this is a truck stop very busy.. I will ALWAYS remain a flying j Pilot PATRON.

Pretty decent J. you can find parking pretty much all the time. But might be harder after midnight. Showers are updated and clean. They have hot food usually until midnight, after that Dennys is your only option. Overall a good spot for a ten hour break.

Bought Coke, sign read, 2 for $3.50. Got to register, price only good with a reward card. Didnt say that on the sign anywhere. Clark wasnt helpful. Left the pop and other items on the counter and keft.Will stick to Loves from now on.

Decent fuel prices, well stocked and maintained. Come in here maybe twice a month, never been irritated or disdain disappointed. Coffee is always brewing and the place is generally well stocked on everything, food, truck related electronics, toys, food etc, even on holidays. Connected McDonalds is pretty decent as well for what it is.

We always make a stop here on our way to Florida and back. Has everything you need if your traveling and even for working on thanksgiving the cashier was nice.

We have relied on this location for many years in our 42ft. RV travels. Their RV-specific fueling area is appreciated, but their pricing on diesel fuel is considerably higher than their regional competitors. In addition, one of only two RV diesel pumps was bagged as out of service, so we had to wait in line for quite awhile to pay a premium price. Will be seeking options in the future. Flying Js and Pilots in other areas of the East Coast seem more competitive, although all four RV diesel pumps in Winchester, VA were bagged along with several in the truck area. Something stinks.

Wanted propane in our motor coach. Unfortunately there was a substantial tree branch hanging too low over the path to propane station. Fortunately, only minor scratches to equipment on our roof. Propane service was prompt. I failed to check propane cabinet door, good soul passing by noticed door swing open and warned us before leaving Flying J. THANK YOU!

I have been to this Dennys location many times, but its been well over a year since my last visit. Im a diabetic so it can be very frustrating choosing my meals from a menu that is mostly filled with items I cant have. But the waitress we had this day was wonderful !Not only for her patience with me and my mother (who just came from the eye doctor and couldnt see) but for her genuine kindness and knowledge of the menu items. So I was able to order some healthy and still delicious pancakes with sugar free syrup and a fruit bowl! Our food did not take long to get to us and it was all very fresh and tasty. I will definitely go back the next time Im in town!

Staff very friendly. Took a shower, door was damaged shower head had some sort of crusty white substance on it, around toilet bowl a lot of rust.Conclusion it needs refurbishing
