I thoroughly enjoyed my times getting tattoo’d at The Parlour. All the artists and owner are very friendly and easy to speak with. I have been working with Jon to finish up a sleeve and start some larger pieces and he has been outstanding. Professional, courteous, very well priced and easy to chat with during sessions. He explains all situations of getting tattoos in various spots (what could happen etc.) and his creativity on an idea is fantastic. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Went here to get my nipples pierced by James and could not have made a better choice. Absolutely the most amazing piercer I have ever been to. He walks you through every process and makes sure you are comfortable with everything happening. He is incredibly professional and his experience is apparent throughout the entire appointment. For anyone looking for a new tattoo or piercing in buffalo, I couldn’t recommend this place enough. I had the BEST first experience and will definitely be back for more. I’ve gotten piercings done from other studios in buffalo that I’ve ended up having issues with or ended up crooked. James was beyond great, knowledgeable and accommodating. As an appointment only studio, my experience felt very personal and comfortable. It was so nice and a lot of fun to play around with thoughts/ideas/placement and to know the focus is on you alone without the chaos of other clients. James really took the time to make sure that my piercing was exactly what I wanted. Not to mention, the atmosphere felt very clean, earthy, organic and homey. I probably could have stayed and hung out all day lol. I don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else from now on. I’m not impressed easily but this one is for the books! Thank you so so so much again!

I got my nose and ears pierced here, both were my first piercings ever. I wasnt sure what to expect but my piercer James made the experience great. Just got done getting a nostril piercing from James. This is my second one as the first one I got many years ago was a disaster. I was worried because I’m sensitive to pain but he was very reassuring, knowledgeable and thorough. Goes way above and beyond regular COVID precautions to make sure everybody is safe. The piercing process itself was very quick and went way better than my previous one. The shop is absolutely GORGEOUS!! I loved it and will be coming back for sure!!

There is truly not enough words to express how amazing The Parlour and all of its employees are!I have had many tattoos done by Jon and have not been disappointed once. He takes the time to ensure tattoos are perfect for the specific interests of each client and the time and dedication he puts into each piece really shows! He is also excellent in his communication abilities so that each tattoo is a collaboration between him and the client’s wants, which allows for each tattoo to turn out unique. He’s great company during the session as well, which I find to be extremely important. Overall, Jon is the best at what he does and I would recommend him to anyone and everyone if you are looking to get an outstanding, quality tattoo :)

A few weeks back I received a tattoo from Jon, who seemed like a really nice guy who cares about his clients. After a week of taking care of my tattoo and it going through its healing process, the dead skin started to shed away. Revealing how the tattoo really held up with the ink. I noticed that a part of it did not hold color, and that I was going to need a touch up. I reached out to Jon to express what was going on and simply asked him if he would be able to help me out, seeing as this was all I can do. He told me that he would have to charge me to come in for a touch up, which I understood. But asked him if he would be willing to do a free touch up since it was still fresh and it didnt hold color. He proceeded to tell me that he would be losing money if he did free touch ups, and that this is not a bargaining game. All I did was reach out since he decided we should not go any smaller or we would lose detail, and he didnt expresse to me that it may not hold color well and that I will need multpiple touch ups. As a client I didnt see any harm in asking to see how he would respond, whether or not he would go out of his way to take care of a client who would potentially come back for more work and recommend to friends and family. But I have gathered that this places ego seems to get the best of them and that money is more important to them. Therefore I felt the need to make this public. Money comes and goes but people will never forget how you make them feel. This shop is surrounded by many other shops, with artists who do amazing work as well. I have no problem rocking half of a tattoo and having someone else.who actually cares touch this up for me. Just know that I will make this public to many many people.

If you need a piercing James is your guy! He does a fantastic job. I absolutely hate needles so my first experience (triple helix) with a high traffic walking shop was a nightmare. I tried The Parlour for my next piercings (lobes) and felt completely at ease. The appointment only policy helps make sure each client gets the time they deserve, and allows you James to give the excellent service he is so great at! I just went back a few days ago and got a new conch piercing, there was a bit of a mix up over the appointment, but James got me in and did an amazing job. He really knows what he’s doing, and takes incredible pride in his work. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to put a piece of metal through my ears! If you want the best, than this is the place! They care about their clients and it shows. I couldn’t be happier with my piercings!! Thanks James!!!

To start, the place is amazing. From the awesome décor to the music they play, The Parlour has a truly one of a kind vibe. The exterior is beautiful, the interior is immaculate, and each artist has their “office” decorated to their liking with individual flare. The way this place makes you feel by being there really enhances the tattoo experience. I don’t think I’ve ever felt more relaxed and at home anywhere else while being stabbed with thousands of needles for hours at a time. In all honesty, I wish I could decorate my own house as nice as the shop.Everyone always has concerns regarding cleanliness of a tattoo shop, including myself. Rest assured; this place is spotless! It is absolutely the cleanest and nicest tattoo/piercing shop around. You walk in and can immediately tell how clean this place is. To give you an idea, they request that you remove your shoes before entering the tattoo studio from the entry way; never seen this before at any other shop let alone some spas… As far as my artist is concerned, she cleans the seat, wraps her tools, and opens every needle right in your presence so you should never be concerned about sterilization.As of this writing I have been getting tattooed by my artist, Nicole, for roughly six months now as we are working toward completing a one of a kind geometric travel and exploration themed sleeve. I have to admit, this project did not start with her. I was originally working with another artist in Buffalo who, despite being insanely talented, turned out to be the biggest jerk, most unprofessional, overpriced, and honestly inconsiderate tattooer. So when I got fed up with this individual I sought out a new artist who could do fine line, detailed, black and grey geometric work and match what was already done. It took several months but I found Nicole randomly on Instagram. I immediately inquired about a consultation and within a week I was down at the shop going over what I wanted. I understand that artists never want to pick up where someone else left off or feel as if they were the second choice. However, had I known Nicole existed when I started to plan my sleeve I would have only gone to her. With that being said, after my consultation she took me on as a client without hesitation and I put down a deposit to hold my spot. Six months later we are getting so close to completing the project! So far Nicole has been great and I can’t wait to finish this!Side note, after reading some reviews I think one of the biggest problems with the tattoo industry in general is that client expectations are not realistic. I unfortunately am a perfectionist and sometimes struggle with the imperfections in my tattoos. I keep reminding myself NO tattoo is perfect. Its ART, art has flaws, art has mistakes; art is perfectly imperfect. I’m not talking big mistakes or problems; I’m talking about the little things, the occasional off line or dark shading that didn’t last the healing process. When you go in with realistic expectations that your skin, an organ, is getting stabbed by thousands of tiny needles there is only so much one can do...Though I haven’t had any touch ups yet, I do need some. I have lost some lines completely and have some dark shaded areas did not stick. Despite waiting till the entire project is complete to have everything touched up at once, I know Nicole will honor The Parlour’s policy of free touch ups.

I have been going to The Parlour for a little over a year now and getting work done by both Rob and Nicole. The shop is absolutely beautiful and extremely unique, nothing like any shop I have ever been to in the area. When you walk in, it has more of a spa feel than a place you would come to get permanent artwork. The owner, James is extremely welcoming the moment you walk in and also extremely knowledgeable in his line work work, piercings and modifications. I have also had my nostril pierced by James and he put me at absolute ease despite being terrified of needles. I barely felt it and he picked the most stunning gold pieces for each nostril and made the entire experience as pleasant as it could possibly be. I would highly recommend going to the shop whether youre looking for an amazing tattoo, a unique piercing or some beautiful custom jewelry, the Parlour has it all.

I didnt get work done here but I came to say that Rob is honest and legitimate. I went for a consult and he was very truthful in telling me that what I was looking for was not his style. He was candid about his own style and why he was not the best artist for my concept. He also pointed me in the direction of another artist whom he did feel would collaborate successfully with me and he was right! I nooope know what things would fall more in Robs strengths and I would most certainly go see him for those but I was sincerely appreciative of and impressed by him.

Extremely clean. The artist are some of the best in the buffalo area. I suggest Kenny if your looking for a tattoo from a person whos mind can visualize some of the most amazing designs/ diabolical pictures you can imagine. And anything he can draw on paper he can put it on your skin.

I went in to have my piercings changed, and I am happy with the service I received! I was nervous about going to a shop because a lot of places stuck and arent honest, but not here! I went in on a Saturday to get my navel piercing literally before they closed at 8, around 630pm or so, and James greeted me right away. When I walked in, the shop had a cool, trendy vibe about it, I didnt feel like I was in a tatoo/piercing place. Its hard to explain, youd have to go there to see for yourself how amazing it is. The floors are wood, so you have to check your shoes in at the door. Honestly, James, the piercer and I presume owner, was amazing. He made me extremely comfortable, he was knowledgeable, and so sweet. The piercing barely hurt at all, but I think its because he did breathing techniques with me before he did it. I highly recommend this shop for piercings. I plan on getting my nose pierced next, and Im definitely going to James again because after my experience, I will not want to go to anyone else!

Amazing, stylish, & freakishly clean facility. The owner is an absolute stickler for making sure clients are happy & well taken care of. He also has a knack for making a body feel comfortable.After getting a nose piercing & amazingly done/well placed VCH in one go, I am surely making the Parlour my go-to spot for all of my piercing needs. The jewelry is a little on the expensive side, so whatever I get from here is a personal treat, but you definitely get your moneys worth for the great quality service and beautiful but high quality assortment of jewelry!

Rob did a cover up on my back and now I wouldn’t let any body else touch my skin with Ink. I had 0 doubts after seeing the sketch he drew up. Very talented artist recommend anybody getting a tattoo to see rob at the parlor.

The Parlour is an amazing place to go to get a tattoo! I got my septum piercing done here and it was absolutely amazing. The owner is really kind and knows his stuff and the shop is self is actually really gorgeous and feels just like home.

I came to get a tongue piercing and the owner of the shop didn’t know what he was doing he gave me a 14 gauge bar instead of giving me a longer bar to accommodate for the swelling there was a lot of complications with having a 14 gauge bar and a swollen tongue I would not recommend getting a tongue piercing done at the shop.

This place is amazing and affordable got my septum done here. James is FREAKING AWESOME! Highly recommended.
