I cant count the number of times I have gone in expecting to have to buy a bunch of stuff and the staff show me how to complete my project at a much lower price. They always have great advice and everything you need.

If you are looking to make Beer, or even Wine for that matter and need some supplies/ ingredients, this is the place to go.I recently started brewing some beer on my own. Being that I do a lot of shopping online I figured I would get some stuff shipped over to me. Unfortunately there is not much to be had in terms of deals, because the stuff is heavy and therefore expensive to ship. While searching I did come across this place and figured Id stop in to check it out.Definitely glad I did, they have just about everything you need to brew. Prices are comparable to online shops as well. They also have their own recipe kits for new brewers like myself who want to get started with some easy to follow instructions and ingredients all there for you. Staff was helpful in finding what I was looking for too. When I am ready for my next batch, this is where Ill be heading to get what I need.

Incredibly helpful staff who arent trying to push a sale and want you to walk out educated instead of holding equipment you dont need. They seemed genuinely interested in helping me and my friend get started in winemaking and shared some really useful tips.Selection is great; their starter kits are competitively priced and included just about everything. I will definitely coming back whenever I need supplies.Wish they were open Sundays, but hey, theyve gotta have a day to brew too!

Staff is very knowledgeable and always gives helpful advice. It doesnt matter what your experience is, they will talk to you and help you figure out a recipe or what equipment you could use. I highly recommend their starter kit to anyone thats never brewed before because it comes complete with everything you need to brew (less some common kitchen items). I enjoy creating recipes and buying hops, yeast, and malted barley here.

First off, the staff is very knowledgeable about the many different methods of brewing. Ask them any question you have about brewing and they can point you in the right direction. Along with their expertise they also have the equipment and supplies to get your brew complete.

I have only been home brewing for a few months but I have had enough interactions with the staff at NT to feel confident in my review. I have had dealings with just about everyone on the staff and they all have been very knowledgeable and more than willing to take as much time as needed to answer all questions I throw at them no matter how silly it may be. They will walk you through the process showing you what you need at each step and asking you questions to get a feel for what kind of beer you are looking to make to ensure you are ready for what you will be seeing.The store can be a bit cramped if its busy but thats more a testament to the amount of items/ingredients that they have on hand than it is an indictment of the shopping experience. In short I cannot recommend Niagara Traditions Homebrew Supply highly enough. If you are thinking about getting into homebrewing this is the store you should be dealing with.

I literally just started home brewing. Although I know quite a bit about beer and the brewing process from friends and professional brewers I know. Ive been visiting this store for a few years now. Its got a very nice mom and pop feel that reminds you of an old hardware store - cramped, slow checkout, stuff everywhere, but everyone there is eager to help you be successful homebrewing. You get personal attention and good advice, which is crucial when trying to sort out all the competing info out there on homebrew. The really tall guy can be seen around town at charity and outreach events, and their prices are fair when you take shipping into account. This is a good local shop and they are great neighbors to the community.

A complete selection of base and specialty grains, all the staple and newest hops, large selection of Wyeast and White Labs yeast. Also about every piece of equipment you can imagine for homebrewing, wine making, cider, mead, sake and even cheesemaking. The best is the knowledgeable staff. Lots of awards on the wall. Their kits are awesome for beginners. You can take classes here as well. I have been a customer for at least 23 of the 25 years they have been open. Cheers!

Best Homebrew Store EVER! I have been in many homebrew shops and NT has the best selection and they know their stuff. Being part of a competition focused homebrew club I can say that a lot of our success and mine in particular was due to the fresh ingredients and expert knowledge from the owners and staff at Niagara Tradition. Their prices are also right in line with the etailers, but there is nothing better than cruising the isles in person to see all the latest gadgets and be able to see how fresh the ingredients are.
