I worked here for about 4 to 6 months and the staff was great and plus I would get a great workout everyday helping to load peoples vehicles up! With inflation lenco has low prices compared to other lumber yards. Highly recommend them!

Worked with Matt at Seneca St to order decking and railings. He provided great customer service and was responsive with any questions regarding delivery or the products. Lenco Lumber is the best in the area when it comes to ordering building supplies.

I received my closet doors with some markings and a few minor cracks. Nothing that I couldnt fix with wood filler since Im painting them. I was really happy with how quickly they responded and their resolution though. Accidents happen and they handled it right.UPDATE: To get 5 stars from me in the future, I think its only fair you refund my shipping for this current order. And I do believe any future orders will be inspected more closely. Thank you for asking.

Mostly buy my lumber there as they tend to have better lumber than the big box stores. They are always helpful finding items and loading them into your car.

First time there, wasnt really sure what I was doing because its different than any lumber yard Ive been too (to be fair thats not very many so their way could be the norm) staff was friendly and happy to explain it to me and they had the weird sized plywood I wanted, two guys put it on my car for me too. Im strictly a home depot guy just for the sake of convience. It never occurred to me to come to lenco. Anyways, I decided to come in one day to get some ideas about s garage roof that I was doing. As I was looking around confused Jason called over and asked if I needed help. Long story short I just received one of the best services ever. Jason went over everything I needed and then I was loaded up on the yard. Didnt have to touch a thing. Everyone was polite and willing to help. I think I found myself a home.

This place has the best selection of vinyl siding and roofing materials in the buffalo area hands down. They have cheaper drywall than home depot and Lowes. You walk in pay drive around they load you up. If your gonna buy lumber there and not get out of the truck and look at the boards going in the truck dont complain later. They do have a restocking fee for people that arent carpenters that wanna bring back boards that look like bananas. I have never had an issue with anything I ever bought there. I highly recommend this company over home depot. You wanna shop local and vote with your dollar go to Lenco.

The staff were even though busy were not helpful at all. To busy talking about people that were making more money than them while on unemployment... I just had a few simple questions because right now my home is under the process of some major improvement projects. The counter person couldnt even answer my questions he just pointed and gave me a 2 line answer. I just left... Later in the afternoon I went to the Sheridan location and ordered my composite flooring and found the siding I want and railing for my home projects

Within minutes of posting, I was contacted by my salesmen who explained that he would correct this issue and assure my satisfaction. The issue was corrected within 24 hours. Large amount of supplies for a store its size. Parking lot on side of building. Adequate staff available that does not jump on you as soon as you walk in the store.

In starting I would like to respond to the poor post below. As a construction professional I work with Len-Co lumber and their store manager fairly closely. I have never had anything more than a positive experience. For many years our company used a different lumber source, however we have made the change to go with Len-Co for several reasons. 1. The helpfulness of their staff is beyond reproach. When you call the store you will always speak with a knowledgeable sales person who will point you in the right direction. 2. Their in stock options are also of the highest quality. The amount of their products they keep regularly stocked is much higher than other suppliers. And the items they do not keep stocked always arrive in a timely fashion. 3. If I need pricing on anything, from lumber all the way to PVC decking I will receive it in MINUTES, this is key to my business. 4. The manager of the Buffalo location is among the most helpful and accommodating sales people I work with. As a sales manager myself, I can truly appreciate this. I will always recommend Len-Co. I do not agree with this previous poster, and encourage anyone on the fence to use this company for your home improvement needs.

This place is AMAZING and right by my house!! I had no idea you could walk in and just by wood without being a contractor or without having a HUGE order. I just bought all the baseboard trim for my attic floor (over 120 feet for each, the base and the shoe) and it was SO cheap. It was less than half the cost that Home Depot would have been (I priced it!) I was thrilled with their customer service, and then driving through their warehouse section to load it up was other worldly- so organized, so cool to see, and the SMELL of all that fresh cut wood, was incredible. I cant recommend this place enough for all your wood needs.

Great selection, prices are slightly high but they usually have what you need. Only issue is larger items such as plywood sheets you need to drive to a separate warehouse to pick them up after buying them.

This is a great lumber yard, and it ca.e highly recommended to me. If you dont find what you need in the showroom, ask. We were directed out to a portion of the yard to go look at the doors we were looking for specifically. The guys were all super helpful, and before long they were bought and loaded! Thank you!

The place to go for building materials of all kinds. They also carry things that cant be found easily elsewhere, like z bricks. Their staff is knowledgeable and service is great!

Jason at counter 6 was a huge help in purchasing storm doors for my house. Talked to him on the phone a few times and then when I went in to the store for the actual purchase. Is knowledgeable and knew his stuff. It’s employees like this that will keep me coming back to a store. I’ve had awful customer service at other big box home improvement stores - won’t mention any names. So I decided to try a smaller local place - Lenco is awesome and much cheaper than Lowe’s or Home Depot.
