Rich did an awesome job of cleaning and reinvigorating my Strat, and was very responsive. Its 40 years old and was starting to show a lot of roadwear, but it now looks beautiful again and plays even better. The work was done for a very reasonable price and included a detailed summary of the overall condition of the guitar and the work performed. Great work!

Rich was awesome. He was able to get my fathers 1965 Harmony Rocket back into playing shape, which was no small task given the condition it was in. He called it a light restore but I dont think that gives him enough credit, because the amount of work was significant. Rich stayed in constant contact through the project and kept me updated every step of the way. I cant thank Rich enough for his effort and I highly recommend his work. Thank you, Rich!

This was my first experience with a luthier of any sort, so this won’t be a comparative review. But Rich recently set up two of my custom built bass guitars, and did a wonderful job! They both needed action adjustments and some pickup adjustments as well. His work was done in a few days, and for a very reasonable price. He’s friendly and knowledgeable, and easy to contact on his phone.I can certainly recommend R&B for these types of adjustments!

Highly recommended! Rich sat down with me to go over everything on my guitar and what needed to get done. When I picked it up, he made sure that I was happy with the repair and provided paperwork with the specs on everything about my guitar.

Rich was fabulous! We will certainly be back. my daughters Taylor needed to be fixed. She was only home from college for 24 hours, Rich was able to fix it right away (we were so fortunate) and he gave us many tips on care and humidifying it that the Center we purchased at never mentioned. I took my Gibson Hummingbird to Rich and am so glad that I did! My guitar was at the point that it sounded awful and the action was impossible. Rich did a setup and it’s right back where it was when I bought it-great action and sounds amazing! This was no easy job because there was a pre-existing issue with the truss rod where if it was tightened too much it could have broken.Rich is intelligent, knowledgeable and totally honest! He not only documents all his work but also explains all work he has performed step by step.I am one very satisfied customer!!

Rich did a fantastic job on my Epiphone Emperor II. Needed the full treatment - clean/polish, restring, neck adjustment, pickup adjusts, and repair of one of the tone control dials. He documented all the work for future reference. Will certainly go to Rich for my other guitars.

Rich is amazing. I took my 2 year old Taylor to him to have it set up. He did an awesome job. He was able to get the action much lower. He polished and waxed it, put new strings on it and made it beautiful. I am so impressed with Rich. His work is unbelievable. He is very friendly and professional. He had my guitar done in only a couple days and his prices are unbelievable. He does fantastic work for dirt cheap.I took him another project guitar when I picked up my Taylor. It is a 1980 Alvarez that has been through the war. He worked his magic on it and in a couple days it is like a brand new guitar. It is awesome and unbelievable the amazing job he did on both my guitars.I have found my guitar guy. I will definitely take my guitars to Rich when they need any attention. You should too. Rich did an excellent job on my Epiphone 335 Pro fixing the input jack on it,even took a picture and texted it to me of it inside the guitar, to show me the problem.Plus going above and beyond looking the guitar over at no extra charge.Super nice guy and I Highly recommend!

I asked Rich to refurbish a 1960s-era Epiphone acoustic in pretty bad shape. It was ready in several days and the result has been astounding. Where the action was previously about a 1/2 inch above the frets, he managed to bring it down to where it plays nearly as fast as an electric in the upper frets. I havent been able to put in down since I got it home.He also tuned up and restrung a 1987 G&L ASAT to take care of some buzzing. Not only is the buzzing gone but the whole guitar plays better than ever.Rich is very friendly and personable, and he walks you through his entire process. Highly, highly recommended.

Rich did some work on an acoustic bass that Ive neglected for a few years. Quick turnaround, fantastic results. He fixed a cracked bridge, shaved down some gangly frets, and gave the entire bass a cleanup. I would definitely recommend his services.

Rich is a consummate professional. He is as thorough and erudite as it gets, and his work is as clinical as any surgeon’s might be. I brought him an old jalopy of a MIJ 60’s clunker that most professional guitar repairmen would’ve summarily chucked into the fireplace. Instead, Rich carefully took it apart and gave it the type of treatment that only someone who truly loves their work would do. To say that I am anything less than thrilled with the work would be unfair. His prices, contrastly, are *extremely* fair.
