Small yet compact, Schuele is the place to go for professional painting needs. Despite the steady flow of customers, I was greeted upon entering, and soon afterwards an employee came over to ask how he might help me. He gave me a new brochure of paint colors, and easily answered my questions on sheen and application.The store had every size and kind of brush,tool, varnish, stain and removers of finishes. Another gentleman guided me to what Id need to refinish my wooden front door.Prices were affordable for quality goods, check out was fast. I highly recommend Schuele to all.

Ive purchased paint from Schuele for 10 years and my father has purchased paint from the for as long as I remember. While my complaint does not lie with their product, Id happily pay more there for a product that I feel is superior to what I can purchase from a big box, my issue lies with the survive I received at the Clarence and Amherst stores. I was at the Clarence store to pick up a few gallons of deck paint and was informed that they were out of the base that I needed but I was in luck as the Amherst store, 25 minutes one way, and that they had a few left. They were happy to have it premixed so all that I had to do was pay when I arrived. In the car I go and as promised when I arrive I pay for my paint and when I get to my car I noticed that the mix recipe numbers on the can dont match what Ive been using. Back into the store where my assumption of a mistake is confirmed. Things go from bad to worse when Im told that those were the last 2 gallons and that if I wanted my paint Id either have to wait until Monday when they should be back in stock or drive to their downtown Buffalo store ... 25 minutes away from their Amherst store. No offer of bringing the paint to a store closer to me, a discount, not even an extra paint stick ... NOTHING! When I inquired how many gallons of this type of deck paint is sold in a week during summer I was told quite a few. I know its preposterous to think that anyone would want to paint a deck during summer and that it might be wise to have more than 2 gallons of deck paint on hand on a Saturday morning but I guess thats why Im not in the paint business.Heres to hoping that this is a one time mistake for Schuele or they might be out the paint business and looking for a store with quality paint at like I am now.

I love this store! The paint and supplies are of high quality and are easy to work with. The knowledgeable staff is always helpful -- they even taught me to paint around woodwork and near the ceiling freehand, without using blue tape! Ill always be grateful for that! I never buy paint anywhere else.

Purchase interior aura bath paint from Amherst store paid great amount money only to get poor quilty paint which leaves a oily residue film after showering. Called store spoke to sale rep which they took my number and told me the main rep would call me asap it only been a year now and no call. My suggestion there are far better paints out there which cover far better and much more affordable.
