I’ve been using Redstone as my ffl for the past several months. The staff is friendly, informative and willing to answer any questions you have. From the moment Christian greets you at the door you feel welcomed there. My brother and I spent a few hours there just today doing the necessary paperwork for several transfers. As usual, the guys were happy to answer the questions I had during the process, and I walked out of there with a smile, and to me that’s an important aspect of any firearm transaction. My husband has purchased thousands of dollars worth of equipment and firearms here and he’s been to many of their training sessions and found them to be honest and they really care about educating the customers, and not just taking their money. My husband is a licensed fire arm instructor and chief range safety officer and highly recommends this business.

Amazing team. Highly knowledgeable. Patient. Jonathan and the crew take their time to make sure you understand the laws, regulations and expectations of a safe gun owner. They are in a tough spot to find next to the McDonald’s but we’ll worth the journey. They accepted my firearm transfer from Las Vegas with no issues. I was also able to purchase magazines for my AR15 effortlessly with their online order to pickup program. They offer CCW classes at the best rates in Los Angeles. Highly recommended.

Went here yesterday to get my FSC and possibly pick up a gun. As others have noted, theyre very busy, but it took no time at all to get started taking my FSC, and a little while picking out a starter gun for myself with their help.

Such a very friendly place. My first time purchasing was filled with a little self-imposed anxiety and tension. The owners and their staff (especially, Geneva, Jonathan, Aubrey, Christian, and Jared) made the entire experience from the Basic Firearms safety course and scheduling an appointment (since we drove from Northern Cal) right down to the purchase and background check.They could definitely teach retail classes in customer service and customer appreciation. I actually feel like a part of their family.

I took the ccw class at the Ontario location which was fun and Awesome with Leon. Purchased my first handgun and took the non resident Utah ccw class at the Burbank location. After searching for a gun store, Redstone Firearms was recommended to me, and their service was excellent. Ive made all of my firearm and ammo purchases from them. I did a lot of researching to find a Black owner gun store in the Los Angeles area, and that is how I discovered Redstone Firearms; I wanted to recycle my Black dollars.I got to Redstone on a Saturday morning around 10; it took some time to finally get placed on the list to take the CA Firearm Safety test and I was told to come back in 2 hours. After 12 noon I returned and was told it was going to be another 2 hours; I went to Costco to get gas, use the restroom and get something to eat. Around 2:30pm I returned and was told, the amount of time it was going to take for me to get in to take the test was unknown. I have now blown my day waiting to take the test and its unknown as to when I will be able to take it.Eventually Geneva, one of the owners came out and we got into a conversation. My initial questions and statements were related to the amount of time I had already been there and I still hadnt taken the test I came to take. Eventually Geneva asked what she could do for me, this was after repeatedly telling me every gun shop is busy and I could leave and go somewhere else. I asked if I could have an appointment and return the following Saturday, I was told there was only one Saturday appointment and it was taken and there wouldnt be another for however many weeks. My question was, why did you ask if there was something you could do if you werent going to go anything. I was eventually told I was being aggressive even though I never raised my voice or postured. Again, she started telling me I could leave and go somewhere else.I dont believe that providing a positive customer service experience ever crossed her mind or that I had every intention of doing a great deal of business with them because I would have been a new gun owner.So much for trying to support this Black owned business, they will never see me or my Black dollars again

Great place! Ordered my first pistol (a Beretta 92FS) from here. I also took a general gun safety course from them online, and the multi-state CCW class here (for Florida, AZ, and Utah) in-person. Very friendly service. They page you through their system when it’s your turn in line, instead of having people wait in a physical line. And now they have inventory listed on their website. 😃UPDATE: Now that the Covid shutdown is over, you no longer need to sign up on the pager service. Now, you can just walk in for service without the waits connected to the shutdown. Inventory is much better now, too.

The peoples facial expressions are so blatantly disrespectful. This is why I drive all the way to Burbank from San Diego to do business with RSF.

Truncated version: I received a full refund. Full version: Signed up to purchase a relatively inexpensive shotgun. I was told DROS background check could take a few days longer than the normal 10 days. I called and emailed many times, from three weeks up to 8 weeks. When I realized that the just didn’t have my gun anymore, I got the feeling I had been misled about the passing of my background check. I waited in line for 5 hours when they said I could come pick it up, and they gave me the wrong build of gun. Bad business. Go elsewhere. Now 2 months later and I am still unarmed.

Heard about Redstone through word of mouth. Decided make an out of state purchase. Everything was great until it was time to actually ship my firearms.No tracking info. Shipments were claimed to be lost in other states. Absolutely horrible experience. Only reason I have decided to post this review is because the entire ordeal cost me a lot of time which is money. Would avoid doing any out of state business with these people until they are more organized.

Wow, what an experience! I knew nothing, absolutely nothing about the responsible ownership of PPE or the FSC and then I was introduced to the Redstone store. Their online classes prepared me to pass the FSC with flying colors. It’s a busy place and there can be a wait but the level of customer service and information make any wait well worth it.They have created a friendly, relaxed, community atmosphere at Redstone which isn’t always the case in stores that deal with PPE.The lobby looked like a poster for the UN both times that I’ve been and that speaks volumes for just what the atmosphere is like at Redstone. All are welcome, novice and expert alike.Redstone, a place for all of us.

Currently completing an FFL transaction with Johnathan, the general manager (I believe?) of this location. He has given stellar communication throughout the entire process and has been very understanding of my needs and schedule even though the holiday season and my crazy work hours.Their FFL fees are the cheapest so can find anywhere in the area, 80$ (As of 1/1/2020) and that includes the background check fee. If you need to bring in anything related to an FFL, this NEEDS to be the place you go!Their location needs an update from google, as I have sent in a correction.
