Thrilled with our experience here. First time new car buyer and it was about as painless as it gets. We had called around looking for a specific model and Burien called us back as soon as one became available.No high pressure sales tactics and everyone was helpful and friendly. I don’t take my car to any other dealership. They are very quick and efficient. They also have a shuttle to take you home and pick you up or they can send you with an Uber. They seem to have great deals on items that you need to keep your car in shape. But I mostly use them for maintenance like my oil change, tire rotation, and things like that.

Lack of customer service! Went out of my way to this dealership as they have always been really professional! Was looking for a new commuter car. When I went inside, had to search for a sales associate and when I got one he made it look like as if he was doing me a favor! I asked if they have a specific model which they didn’t, he got me a paper for something that they had coming in the next weeks. I asked why there was a price difference in theirs and Kirkland, just a simple question, he said why don’t you go to Kirkland then. I was like fine fare enough. Then I was at least if they could show the LE version, he was just look at the one in the showroom. And said they all look the same. Never ever expected a customer service from any car dealership.

Tim H. was extremely professional, genuine, and created the entire positive experience based on my needs. He never tried to conform my needs outside of what I could afford or wanted to do. Its pretty rare for a single woman to experience this, especially in sales! This was by far the BEST experience Ive ever had in trading in car and I owe that all to Tim and Burien Toyota! VJ Tantoco and Aimee were the best when buying my 2022 Corolla SE! VJ was the nicest car sales man Ive ever encountered and he never made me feel pressured into buying a vehicle like other dealers usually do. The whole car buying process was made simple thanks to VJ and Aimee. Everything was done at a timely manner and every question I had was answered. They even had great discounts for college graduates like myself. I highly recommend reaching out to VJ if youre looking for a car at Toyota Burien. Aimee is also a great financial advisor. Bought the warranty for 4,000 and always have soo much trouble using it. Their go to answer is “of course they told you that, they’re a salesperson.” Nice business motto. The staff never knows what you talked about to anyone else even though they tell you it’s for sure “in the notes.” 2-3 hour wait for an overpriced oil change is the icing on top.

Best car buying experience. I received an immediate response from them on behalf of Costco Car Sales. From answering my questions to securing the color I wanted, at a price well below other Toyota dealers I contacted, Hyung Kim and Kelly Stewart were the best. Aimee Case, their finance manager presented warranty options, listened to our expected driving needs, and helped us choose the most economical options. A plus dealership.

Overall, it was a good experience. The staff was helpful and the process was relatively streamlined. However, that is not saying much. Like most dealerships, they have a system that is designed to make you feel like a friend in order to squeeze you for every penny they can. As a customer, you can see right through the act. I would encourage everyone who goes here, or to any dealership for that matter, to be very aware that you are being treated as a piggy bank. Be very careful to read all documents. I clearly mentioned that I wanted 10K miles on my lease and it was written down by the staff member. When he came back with the document to sign, it said 12K. I had to catch it for it to be changed. Very suspicious and unprofessional, and potentially could have costed me an extra few hundred dollars a month. I was also pressured incessantly towards during the closing paperwork. Ignore their sappy stories, warm taps on the shoulder, and attempts at small talk. Stay focused on the numbers and demand what you want!

I put a deposit on a specific car that had to be ordered in. Christina in sales was super friendly and kept me updated and informed throughout the process. When the car arrived I was informed immediately and was able to complete the transaction that afternoon and drive home. I left feeling like I was dealt with fairly by the sales and financing department. Big improvement over some other dealerships Ive dealt with in the past.

They get lots of points for actually taking and respecting appointments for service unlike other dealerships in the area, and they did fix a tricky leak. However, my car battery died while in for service. It was perfectly functional with no issues when I brought my car in. I had to pay for a new battery in order to pick up my car. They didn’t have the battery test data available when I asked. My battery was old so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt but it seems really convenient that a perfectly fine battery died while at the shop (my guess is a light was left on for too long while working on the car.)

The systems in place to support the service are clearly not linked. The last four times I have brought my car in for service I have gotten a phone call the next day asking me to schedule the service that I just received the day before. This time we brought my car in for service and to get the seat belt fixed. After the visit they told my spouse they couldnt fix the seat belt today and would call us about the seatbelt, when I inquired when I called about about the bill and service agreement they told me they didnt even look at the seat belt and that I would have to make another appointment, pay them $159 to do a diagnostic(to tell me which part of the seat belt is broken, isnt that part of fixing it?) and then they would fix it for additional fee if it is not covered under the service agreement. I marked them down because of such consistent poor communication, the actual service that has been completed has been fine. The woman in the finance section who assisted me with understanding our seven year service policy was extremely helpful and followed through on everything that she said she was going to do, I really appreciate her.

Happy with the service and proactiveness. The only thing that worries me is that I was invited for the 15k miles maintenance service with only 3k miles on it. Toyota staff was not clear on why without much usage, we needed to be this theral on inspections when they said nothing was done.

Utilized the Costco program and scheduled an appointment with VJ at Burien Toyota. Customer service was quick and professional. VJ was on time, super professional and knowledgeable. I test drove a few cars and he answered all of my questions (and I had a lot of them). It was a Saturday and pretty busy, so when I had to wait my turn with the Finance Department, VJ kept me up to speed on how long it would take and that he would be there every step of the way. He also offered to have me come back with the car and walk me through any features I was unsure of; it was an upgrade for me, so lots of new bells and whistles. I got a very fair trade in deal for my Rav-4. Overall, a very good experience.

The service department sold me prepaid 5 oil change for a total of $240 plus tax. When I took the car to do my 4th oils change, I was told I used all my 5 services. I would need to pay for this one. Apparently they scammed me because rotating tires is considered a one of the 5 oil change service. Makes completely no sense. On top of them making me pay for my 4th oil change, it took them over 2 hours to do the oil change.

Horrible customer service. Called 3 times to make an appointment and nobody answered so I showed up anyway. Bought the car I wanted. They refused to give us the military discount listed on their website. After you buy from them, they dont care about you anymore. They never called to tell me my license plate was delivered, so I had to call 3 more times to find out myself. They never sent the title to my bank. I called 10 times, left 5 voice mails. Finally someone answers. On the phone when I said Ive been trying to get through for 3 weeks, the manager says, make this quick, I have other calls and put me on hold for over 30 minutes

Had a really great experience today. Yakima Toyota messed up our wheel balance during a routine service apt. On a trip to Seattle, all Toyota dealerships we called would not see us or had no availability. Called Burien, super friendly and quick chat on the phone, and they said to just swing by and theyll help us out. So refreshing!Service was fast, in and out in under an hour. Floor and Julianna in the service dept. are top notch! Seriously, the entire service team is excellent. Highly recommend them.

Do not recommend. I have gotten inconsistent checks from technicians (things magically going back and forth between needing maintenance and being fine despite not being changed). And Ive had the advisor not put the correct maintenance needing to be done on the car despite requesting the regular maintenance on the website. This resulted in a 30k interval maintenance getting done 20k miles late and was missed on 3 different visits. When i asked about corrective action for missed maintenance, i got the run around. And on my visit today, i had to argue with the advisor about why they were adding extra maintenance to be done that wasnt recommened by the manufacturer.

I had a great experience at Burien Toyota. I needed to come in for a recall repair which Id been putting off for some time. Id had one of these done before at a different dealership and it ended up being really exhausting and time consuming. Everyone was very professional and friendly, especially Julianna, who helped me with everything, including providing me with a loaner car (since my repair was going to be over an hour). I also ended up getting a tune-up and an oil change too, and it was all done very quickly.

I called about a RAV4, and the sales person said they had a silver model. Apparently their definition of have is will have after the car is shipped in the future. Apparently they had zero stock, so wasted a trip. Make sure you ask very clearly whether or not they actually have the car you want in stock. Will look for a different dealer.

WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE WITH THESE THREE DUDES!!! Yesterday, I purchased a 2021 Toyota Venza Limited Hybrid from Toyota of Burien. I emailed my inquiry to five other Toyota dealerships explaining what car I wanted, financing options, pricing, and just other information about the car. VJ (sales associate) reached out to me and between him and Kelly (sales manager) made this process FUN, EASY, and QUICK!!! We agreed on the price!!! :) Then, Tony (finance) worked the phones and his magic and obtained a great interest rate for me!!! Look there are numerous dealerships out there and buying a car can be overwhelming and maddening sifting through the BS and dishonesty. This three dudes were honest and straightforward - if they could do it they did - if they couldnt do it they told me they couldnt. This is my first Toyota and because of this experience at Toyota of Burien it wont be my last. VJ, Kelly, and Tony thanks for the laughs and the great time yesterday - You three dudes are AWESOME!!!

I wish I can give a 0 star but I can’t.My car broke down so I had to tow it to Toyota burien. I had a woman named Courtenay Brasi she is the worst at communicating with me. She is always unavailable when I try to reach her and when I do it’s always a mess or even when I come by she’s either off work or on a lunch break (I’ve waited for her for an hour and 30 mins) like hello Ive made an appointment. I had requested an oil change and fix the problem with the engine but instead I had other things done thinking it’ll be the same price because she never mentioned it will effect the price difference. So I had to pay 2177 dollars for something that didn’t looked fix and they have trashed my car, stole my dash cam, essential oils, charger usb plugs, trashed my trunk, etc. it was a mess I cannot believe I have been scammed by her and getting robbed by them.I told her what happened when I was about to pick up my car and she was all apologetic and got the person that got my car. I looked at him irritated and confused as he was confused as well, I told him “where is she!?” Because she just left not even confronting the situation. She is a whole mess i would even hear her own coworkers complain about her. I don’t blame them she’s the worst! She said she’ll “check the cameras” which I believe she did not and did not even get the manger.As we were about to leave my mom asked her why is the car making a rumbly noise. She said “oh it’s fine it’s fine”I will never go to them ever again! I was very proud to be a car owner and a costumer at their location they were awesome, had great costumer service but not anymore.

The service department accidentally charged me too many hours which was an extra 500 dollars than what they said the service would be. This was about 50% extra. Im pretty convinced that if I didnt cuss them out that manager wouldnt have called me back. Unnacceptable.

I pretty much have a great experience here. This time I was sent a text saying to use it during the visit to communicate with my advisor, in this case Anthony I believe. I responded immediately and asked a question, walked around for an hour and half, and never got an answer. In fact, to this day I have never gotten an answer. I had to walk back to the service center and get another advisor to help because apparently mine had gone to lunch but did not check back with any information on my car, even though he said I would get that information in short order. I like the text idea but you have to actually respond to it for it to be a good idea. Other than that, my car was taken care of well as they usually do.

After spending almost 5 hours at this dealership I honestly wish I’d gone elsewhere. I felt pressured at every turn. Initially was sold a car that did not come with the features I expected— admittedly a mistake for the dealer and myself. However when I went to return the car (15 minutes after buying it haha) I was pressured to get a more expensive trim in order to get the features I wanted, instead of getting the trim with the features as advertised. I wanted the Corolla SE with the Premium package, and was pressured to take the XSE instead. It’s not even the color I wanted. But I have no way to get to another dealership (which they knew), and after losing an entire work day sitting at Burien I can’t take another day to get to another dealer, even if I had a way to get there. I wish I’d never come here honestly. Ended up paying a lot more than I expected to, for a car that wasn’t what I wanted. I think they knew I was trapped and took advantage.If you want a Toyota, go elsewhere.

Recently I had car trouble and was forced to go to my local Toyota dealer instead of regular service provider, Burien Toyota. I ended up having to contact Burien Toyota about some of the work they had done prior. I was exceptionally pleased with their response. Even though they were not doing the work at hand, they were very helpful in coordinating the records and cooperating with the service manager at the other dealership. They even helped providing information that enabled me to get further discount! Nicole in Buriens service department was very helpful and went the extra mile. And the manager who followed through for me was great (unfortunately I did not get his name). I will continue to drive the extra miles to Burien for my Toyota service whenever circumstances allow.

This is the worse service dealer. I dont plan to come back nor am I going to recommend anyone coming here (Toyota Burien) to buy a buy or have his/her car fixed. I came in to have my brakes look at since it was making noises. The service lady said she would take it for a test drive and see what the problem was. The brake disc was worn out and needed to be replaced. I wasnt told that my warranty had run out. When I purchased my new Rav 4, the warranty stated that I have 36,000 miles bumper to bumper warranty or 3 years. My car isnt even 36,000 miles or 3 years yet. I wasnt presented with any paperwork to have my brake fixed. The lady said she can work on it. That was that until I was presented with a bill for almost $500.00.

I had a FANTASTIC, no bull experience here buying my 2017 highlander. I contacted them online and worked with Melonie and Kevin, the internet dept. Manager. To say that they are awesome, is to say nothing at all. We have 2 young kids, so we needed to get the deal done quick. We drove 3 hours from Portland for the specific trim we wanted. Even though they did not have the car on the lot, they were able to look one up and get it on the lot within a couple hours. By the time we arrived, the car was there as promised waiting for us right on our tight schedule, on a SUNDAY. The paperwork was a breeze and things just couldnt go smoother. Not only would I highly recommend Kevin and Melonie to everyone looking to buy, but I would absolutely buy from them again myself. We just couldnt imagine everything going smoother. Great job team!

I made an appointment at 7:30a.m for oil change because of my work and It took more than 1hr 30min, so I asked a lady for my car and she said my car has two recalls to work on it so it will take another five hours.If she explained any recall I would understand but previously she didn’t say nothing and I told her to go to work so asked her to rush. She hardly care because of her I was late to work and I was so humiliated.She wasn’t even say sorry and no apologize for nothing. All my family bought three Toyota cars from Burien Toyota I won’t go to Burien Toyota again even for recall services. You need to retrain your service advisor to be a philanthropic service mind instead of being a service sales. By the way, recall service for almost $1300 is too much.During pandemic period every community tried to help each other but not your company. I paid $94 for an oil change perhaps their complementary coffee costs me $30. No wonder their coffee was so bitter. :p

I love the truck but you just cant trust sales people. When going through the terms of my lease they suggested I add the additional 30k service saying if I prepaid for it I would get a discount which I accepted. Today I dropped off my truck for the 30k service come to find out this was not included and I would have to pay out of pocket for this service. Moral of the story make sure you always review the contract and get things in writing.

While you wait for your car to be serviced you can enjoy fresh coffee and pastry. There is a quiet room; private family room; kids room and general TV viewing area. There is free Wifi. I worked with VJ Tantoco and Tim Holmquist, who were both very kind and professional. I have to say that Baron Li made our purchase of our new vehicle very simple and easy during these times. They made magic happen to get an identical car from another lot in the region same day. They had the best price (BY FAR) of all the dealers I shopped. Seriously -- I sent their offer to like 10-12 other local dealers to see if they could match it and no one could even come close. My salesman Mr. Kim was so friendly, thorough, and quick to respond when I had questions. No high pressure tactics. The financing process could not have been easier, they had everything ready to go when I got there for my appointment, the whole process took less than 2 hours. They didnt pressure me for extended warranties/services. Everything on the final paperwork matched what we had discussed. Great experience. I would recommend buying your next Toyota here!

Honestly I wanted to like Burien Toyota. I purchased a Jeep from them in August. The first day I took it home, I noticed that the heater wasnt working (it was summer so I hadnt thought to try it during my test drive). I brought it back in to be repaired, and also mentioned that the car was pulling to the right, so it would be great if the wheels could be aligned while I was there. I was told by the service employee that some roads lean right. I assume he said this because I am a woman. This was also after I had told him that I drove the car all the way to California and back. If all the roads between Seattle and California are leaning to the right we are all in big trouble. However, they repaired the heater for free so I thought no more of it.Cut to October. Started hearing a noise from the front tires, brought it into a Midas to see what the problem was. Its a worn bearing, so I bring it back to Burien Toyota and point to the word in the warranty booklet that says bearing. They agree it should be covered, I leave the Jeep over the weekend. Got a call and text on Tuesday saying that only axle bearings not wheel bearings are covered, and it will be over $800 to repair, much more than I was quoted at Midas. Thats without the cost of labor, a supposedly nice gesture for my trouble. Got a sounds good text from the service employee when I asked if 9 was a good time to pick up the car.Ive had this car since August and I deeply, deeply regret buying from Burien. I hate going there to get it serviced (even with my [mostly useless] warranty) and do not look forward to having to bring the car back in over and over and over until I can sell it.

Obviously I cannot speak for the reviews of others experiences but mine was great. I don’t leave reviews for businesses. If it’s good I’ll tell others, it’s bad I just won’t go back.My sunroof was smashed by someone in Tacoma while I was shopping. Burien Toyota had the glass available online for a better price than any other dealership. Unfortunately their website would not process my order. After a couple phone calls to the dealership the parts department manager called me back same day to process my order and had the glass sent overnight to the dealership for pickup.Super happy with how great their price was and how fast they handled getting me taken care of!

Worst place ever to take your babies (Vehicle) for care what they need. I gave them 3 chances in 8 months and im done with them for my whole life. Read whole story to Know what exactly they are. 1st time i took my brand new car which has only 300 miles on it. one tire has bubble on it and another tire got nail in it. they refuse to replace tire within warrenty and also refuse to repair another tire and offer me to buy 2 new tires from them cost 450 plus. You tell me who will but new tire to replace a tire which can be patch repair and there is even free repair at discount tires. well i came back and went to another dealer from where i purchased my car and they did everything without a single question. 2nd time 5k service here and they did not changed oil and filter, reset service sign and said manufacture does not recommend oil change at 5k. I checked in toyota app 5k service where they recommend oil and filter change and also body and chassis bolts retorque. Well now 3rd time 10k service plus had issue with12v battery dieing, they changed battery, oil and filter which took 4hrs and billed me 260.00 when i ask this cost must be covered by toyota warrenty they took papers here and there i know they just pretending and then came to zero. well try guys to rob me. Finally got home inspect the battery if they really changed or not and i found battery terminal cover is broken and a minor dent on trunk. now you decide to go there or not for service. also they do not do multipoint inspection at all. my tire pressure was same before and after 40 psi which they indicate 35 on papers they checked which mean all multipoint inspection is only a tic on papers not in real world at toyota of burien

Salesman Abdul very knowledgeable, congenial and, more than willing to work for you the customer. Dave, one of the sales manager was also pleasant to work with. Never had a more pleasant car buying experience in my 30 some years of car buying. The only negative is the finance department (expected). Snickered as she was trying hard to sell extended warranty that the wife did not appreciate. Got a not so pleasant response from the wife. Would definitely recommend Burien Toyota. Thumbs up 👍.

The quality of the customer service and how well the technicians take care of my car seems to have gone down a LOT since the Burien remodeled their service center. The last few visits I’m usually waiting at the dealership for over 2 hours for a basic oil change/maintenance check up. I see other people who come in after me and they’re usually out of there before me.My last visit was the worse so far. I was there for an oil change and transmission fluid change. My appointment was at 10:30. I was at the dealership until 2:30pm. I was told there was only one technician who could change the transmission fluid. The rep went on break after that, assuring my car would be ready soon after she came back from her lunch break. It was almost 2 hours after her lunch break that my car was done being serviced. My impression from the rep’s comments is the technician put off changing the transmission fluid until she kept inquiring why it wasn’t completed yet. The rep kept apologizing and said she would give me a discount for the wait. That was a nice gesture but I felt the discount didn’t make much of a difference in the total amount I owed. It would have been better if I wasn’t charged for one of the major services. It’s ridiculous that I had to wait almost 4 hours for oil change/maintenance checkup and transmission fluid change. It’s obvious the service center schedules way too many customers for appointments - seems like not enough reps to take care of you in a reasonable time and technicians rushing and giving poor quality or plain forgetting to take care of your car until they’re pushed to do so. After my past few experiences, I think I’m better off taking my car elsewhere for maintenance check ups and oil change.
