A family owned business that goes above and beyond. I got into some trouble a ways back and got myself a smart start interlock and have been coming here for a year and recently I actually just got my interlock removed here as well. Huge Shout out to Gil and John for helping me during the struggle. No judgement, professional and family owned this place is a diamond in the rough. Thank you sound on wheels you guys were great.
I have been going to Sounds on Wheels since 1997. They have installed several alarm and stereo systems for me over the years and I have always been happy with their work. John has always been helpful and Gill is probably one of the best installers and also electrical diagnostic guys in the business. Their rates are very competitive, the staff is friendly and they stand behind their work- even after the warranties expire in some cases. Highly recommended.

I was with someone and I felt like they was very mistreated ...... he and I was both rushed out of the car what I am real good explanation made me and him both feel very uncomfortable. And theres a problem with my friends car now

Rudest people ever. Every single time we have to get a smart start service they are over the top rude. I can’t even explain how rude they are. If you do not want to offer a service that like this, then don’t! If it’s a hassle for you, don’t offer it. If you hate the people you have to deal with, don’t offer the service! It’s that simple. Regardless of people’s situation of why they are they (most are court mandated), if you offer a service you should be customer service driven. I understand it may not be the best situation to work with, but do you think we like coming to you to hand over 125$ a month, deal with some silly system that doesn’t ever work right, etc? Then have to deal with the rude people who work there The least you could do is just be NICE.
John and Mary are the best to work with! Forget the overpriced places that put toys in your car, these people are who you want to work with.

Ive been going there for about eight years and theyve always treated me right! They did my alarm and my system and Im going there for my smart start!!!! 👍 Also the owner and his wife are very and professional.
In my opinion this place is horrible I had to get a diagnostic fee and they did it wrong and I had to call them on a Saturday and theyre over two hours and they refuse to help me then I had to get it towed in there and it was a mess they ruin my car I think they ruin the fuse block in my opinion now I have to take it to a specialist and the sad part about it is you know there are third party company and not only that theyre representing sound on Wheels but theyre also representing Smart Start as well. But the bottom line is is they pulled it out and they touch the last time there so regardless you know their representative of Smart Start as a third-party contractor so they should be knowing and if theyre referring people to this place then why dont they have stuff certified technicians.

They do a fine job of making you feel like you are somehow a burden to them. I have only been a paying customer for 6 months but after my most recent experience with one of their older gray-haired mechanics, I will no longer be spending my money there. I give them two stars instead of one because the lady in the back office is a sweetheart.

I have had work done over 16 yrs ago on a van an John sold me on a item and installed it.never had a problem also has done work on a truck recently that went flawless..they dont try to upsell customers an tries to stay inside of Quote.make a appointment for a install or just drop by an check them out..however they are real busy but will answer your questions.over 25 years experience..

Not sure what I paid 250 bucks for if the alarm they installed barely works. I hope they have some liabilities. I woke up to my car being messed with again and I dont recall hearing my alarm even going off. Before even saying anything would anyone ever believe that a thief would take my infinitys from the back of my car and carefully replace it with theirs? Come on they wouldve just stolen the speakers and left me nothing. My guess is that they did it thinking that I would go back asking for a speaker upgrade just to leech more money. What a shame they really seemed trustworthy. I left home thinking why do me speakers sound so ugly now? I guess I know now.
I remembered having some infinity 6×9 speakers in my car right before I bought their alarm system yesterday. Left the shop and had some generic junk speakers. No wonder they were acting all weird when I left. Ill be calling them after school to see what the hell went wrong. Update. They took 2 hours to install a basic alarm system and they didnt have many customers. I called them and they said theyre booked for the rest of the week and yesterday I got a booking within an hour of my call. The owner arguing back just says how guilty they are, come on I have a degree in psychology. I also know that the auto industry makes money from kicking people when theyre down. I never argued with the shop owner I ask him a question and he gets incredibly confrontational what does that say? Im a student in a music institution I have an ear I know exactly what my car sounded like before I left my car in their hands. I also know common sense, p.s. the alarm they installed barely even works the sensitivity on it is incredibly weak. I can make a report or they can put my speakers back exactly how they were.
This guy was so rude and unhelpful kept cutting me off and wouldnt let me explain exactly what Iwas wanting to find out. Because of this I took business elsewhere and will detour anyone I know to go there.
I went there to get stereo questions answered, found it to be very rewarding.

Bought an alarm system about 10 yrs ago and went in to ask questions about it John was rude and very confrontational about the alarm not being the reason the truck wouldnt start after much prodding I got the answer on how to disconnect the alarm. Went home disconnected the alarm an truck started.
