AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! They do not keep their word and are not professional. Long story short, our car broke down in the area so we called them. They seemed nice and towed our car to their shop. It cost more to fix the car than we wanted to pay so they said they would keep the car to junk it or possibly fix it. We gave them the title. Forgot about it until 5 months later they impounded the car and we got stuck with a $500 bill out of the blue, with no warning at all!! Tried to contact them and they were not responsive and not professional. Do not go here, they do not do what they say.
Great work at a reasonable price. I have been taking my cars to JP for over 10 years
They replaced the transmission in my Dodge truck and it worked perfectly.
Came here for emissions test. Gentleman was a very nice guy, I would come back here for maintenance no problem, just due to customer service.
I was visiting a friend in Burien and my car started overheating on the way over to his house. When I arrived at my friends house there was steam billowing out from under the hood of my car. My friends neighbor came over to offer help and he recommended JP Automotive as the best place to go, and said that JPs is where he goes when he has car trouble. So I went to JPs and was given the best service. They immediately assessed the damage and gave me an estimate up front. Within two hours my car was fixed and I was back on the road. What a life saver! Great work at a great price, what more can you ask for?
If youre looking a basic tune up shop this place may satisfy your needs but when it comes to transmissions DO NOT waste your time bringing it here! To make a long story short we brought in our Dodge last March 2015 to have the transmission problem diagnosed when The Shop was still named: Aable Transmission. The old man Ken, the owner NEVER informed us he was transferring ownership to the new owner: Otto. We dont know this Otto and his reputation but nevertheless after spending over $2,200 for a transmission rebuild we would make NOT one or two but 6 revisits over 12 months to this shop and every time we brought it back for the same problem (O/D Light flashing on and unable to turn off) we would lose the overdrive and nothing is more unreliable in a transmission then driving down the freeway losing your overdrive gear with in and out shifting of overdrive. Every visit would be an excuse for WHY it was not the transmissions rebuild fault for the O/D Light issue. From the front brakes, to the abs wheel sensors at both front and rear, to bad grounds and last but not least the rear end differential. On the 6th and final revisit we were welcomed with accusations of being liars and racists against Mexicans all because they assumed because we were white we had to be racist. They failed to realize my Father is of German descent but I am also of Filipino Decscent. So basically because we got frustrated of bringing the vehicle back all of these times they had to play the race card. What a shame. On that same last visit Otto had the Dodge on the lift and threatened to leave it there if we did not pay for the gear oil he put in the rear differential that we never authorized to have done because that was not the issue to begin with. Then, we had to sign a waiver to get the suv back. We were fortunate to find a way better shop up the road where the owner Dan was much more knowledgeable and knew the cause was an electronically worn out PCM and after that replaced it and had no more problems with that transmission. He even told us that Otto came up to his shop and said to not fix the truck and he wanted us to bring back the vehicle and he would do anything including replace the transmission just to avoid us from filing a BBB report of fraudulent business practice on them. He even left several messages on our answering machine apologizing for his extremely rude behavior towards us but would you ever want to do business with someone who calls you a racist and a liar and then threatens to not give you back your vehicle until you sign a piece of paper that admonishes any liability. I think definitely Not! I drive by there since I use Dan and his shop for all of my auto needs and JP Automotive is on the same street-hard to avoid but I do notice his shop is hardly ever busy. Gee, I wonder why....
They are very friendly and helpfulI recommend that you go and that way you will agree with me
