There is a lot of selection of beer and wine, good customer service, and its a organized store. It is convenient for shopping and I love shopping at Seahurst Handy Mart in Burien.

The new owner are quite friendly and have good customer service. The store has gotten a LOT cleaner. They have a larger inventory and faster service. If they do not have a product Im searching for, it will be there in the next couple of days. The food is fresh and prices are reasonable. It is a great store for everybody.

Pay attention to the prices on shelves and what they ring up. They ring up random prices when you checkout and sometimes its double whats marked! Even if theres a price tag on the item themselves theyve tried to overcharge me.

I would rather make my purchases from a local merchant rather than one of the big chains however, each time I have gone into the Handy Mart both the owner as well as his wife are far from friendly. A simple hello with a smile would suffice, rather than a grunt of some sort. Ill drive the extra distance to Safeway, Fred Meyer or QFC in the future as Ive given these people numerous chances to make the effort to buy local worth my while.
