This has to be the worst run CVS in the area. My wife and I had to drive to the Renton CVS to get pick up her prescriptions. No problem, well staffed, courteous in and out in a matter of 10 minutes. Im SO frustrated with this Burien store, either staff it or close it down but do it soon.

What is going on with this pharmacy? They dont fill prescriptions in a timely manner, I waited 5 days for an inhaler thank God I had an extra one, they dont answer their phone, they take forever to help you out at the pharmacy counter and drive through and just seem like they cant be bothered. There is always a different pharmacist working, Ive heard a lot quit because this pharmacy got robbed and I feel like I may have to go elsewhere to get my prescriptions filled. I really wish theyd get their act together cause it used to be a good pharmacy.

Firstly, they do not answer the phone. Secondly, you cant count on them to fill your medications in a timely fashion. Thirdly, If your fill is delayed, sometimes due to their error, they never give emergency supply, so you dont end up in a health crisis!The sense of urgency that should be present in this job is absent here. In their favor, they have never given me the wrong medication.

The absolute worst pharmacy in WA. The techs walk around like headless chickens at times, ridiculous long wait times.Their online site says they open up at 8 am but really its 9 am, they dont bother changing that on thier website. I also firmly believe they dont check thier online orders also. Ive ordered prescriptions online came back two days later and my prescription still wasnt ready. Do yourself a favor and go to any other pharmacy

The service here is awful. Every trip to pickup a prescription is at least a 30 minute wait either inside or at the drive through.They regularly dont fill prescriptions until you go in to pick it up even though the automated system says its ready.If there is an issue with your prescription (out of stock for example) they wont call you about it and youre left waiting.Also, if your prescription has been filled they often cant find it because they have prescriptions stacked all over the pharmacy in piles.They are unfortunately the only pharmacy in the area. Its never been great but has really gone down hill in the last year or so.

I think this is a CVS corporate problem, but this location is a perfect example of how NOT to run a business. Employees are rude and definitely disinterested in customers. Their phone system and etiquette is truly one of the worst in the industry. I only use this pharmacy for the location, and suffer the service. Im not sure for how much longer though.

Front lady was incredibly rude to my daughter. After a long day at school I took my ten year old daughter to CVS to get a snack she desperately needed. Not even one minute in the store, I was asked to place my daughters backpack in the front. I cannot believe that they would even assume me and my family were thief’s. I feel insanely disrespected. If I could give them zero stars, I would.

Basically the same complaints. They dont answer the phone. If you have a question, interaction concern, etc, youre on your own. They have also continued to submit my medications to the wrong insurance over and over despite my attempts to correct this.

Very frustrating experience. They do not actually give flu shots on the weekends. The front desk pharmacy agents are useless. They make you wait in a massive line even if you have an appointment. They are inept at looking at insurance cards. I would not recommend this pharmacy until they get new management and fix things.

Pharmacy is super busy at times and for weeks now they are not answering the patient phone (they just get left on hold until they hang up) and shutting down the drive through with no warning. They post a sign that says it’s broken but then they open it back up again in the same day when not busy…. They shut the window right in your face even if you have been waiting 45 minutes in line.

I had 4 prescriptions on order. They held them all for 5 days due to the fact that one needed clarification from my doctor. One that they held I needed right away. They should call you and give you the opportunity to pick up the prescriptions that are ready.

Unpleasant experience with the pharmacy. A blonde woman told me that one of my two prescriptions was not received and to “just wait.” No offer to call doctor or help. I called my dr.who said the pharmacy had confirmed receipt and offered to call, in the meantime, I approached a young man also working at prescription pick-up who reviewed my paperwork, looked at his computer system, and discovered that the other prescription had somehow been sent to a previous profile for me when I lived in another state. Had I listened to the blonde woman, I would have been waiting all day. Thank goodness that young man was more willing to help.

Terrible pharmacy, they mess up my prescription every time I come in. They’ve ran my insurance incorrectly and tried to overcharge for my prescription. Head pharmacist is extremely rude. Terrible communication with my doctor’s office about refill. Staff won’t pass along messages to pharmacist. On average, I have to call twice and wait and waste an hour of my work day to make sure my prescription is filled properly. Also, their drive thru wasn’t working so had to wait in a ridiculous line to pick up. Will not be using them in the future.

I dont understand what is up with this store now. Over the last year or so its gotten considerably worse but now its like its not even a CVS anymore. Or its like a CVS thats constantly going out of business. They barely have anything in stock for one, and when you ask if they do or where it is, all the employees act like they just started that day and have no clue about anything. And yeah some of them are new, which seems to be ongoing because apparently they cant keep anyone, but even the ones youve seen for a while act like that. This isnt even that big of a store, how do you not know how to find out about what you sell? I worked in retail for a number of years and if you didnt know something, you found out. Thats part of the job. There seems to be no accurate leadership here. There used to be a manager that customers liked because he did his job well, and thats when things seemed fine, but they transferred him and thats when everything seemed to go down hill.They apparently dont even sell some of the basics that most pharmacy type stores would sell. I say apparently because its never clear if they normally sell it and its out of stock or if they just dont sell it for some weird reason. Or its there in the back but no one stocked it. Like when my elderly father asked them if they had more of a certain item and was told by a young man yeah there might be more back there, but Im just one person and cant do it myself. Seriously? For one, why is only one person working at a time that that would happen? And who says that to a customer? How is that the customers fault youre scheduled like that?And on top of it, they just upped their prices significantly. Not only are they more expensive than major stores like Target, Walmart, etc., they are also now more expensive than Walgreens and Rite Aid. So then that leaves little reason to go here anymore.CVS is a major pharmacy and store. I cant believe it is being able to be run like this. Does corporate even know this? I doubt theyd be happy but they also play a part if they arent up on whats happening. Can we please just have a normal CVS?

Pleasant experience! We were greeted at the door by a very warm and friendly Clerk, thats a plus when you are treated like that because you never know what a person may be going through in this life and you may be just that person who can turn day around for the best or worse.

By far the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. They will give you the wrong prescriptions. They won’t verify your prescriptions before charging you. The don’t even offer talk you through everything. They are in a rush to get you in and out, which is funny because they move so slow while they aren’t dealing with you face to face. They gave me 6 prescriptions, 3 of which weren’t even correct. They charged my card handed me my prescriptions and then told me when I called it was my own fault for not verifying they even though there was no conversation held in regards to my Prescriptions and what they were handing me or what was charged and I had nothing to even verify with seeing as my doctor called them in. And this isn’t even my only bad experience with them. Just the most recent. Go somewhere else! They are on the expensive side anyway

Not sure why all the negative reviews. This pharmacy is amazing!Update: what happened to the pharmacist that worked this location months ago? The guy working the register didn’t know how to put in my insurance or GoodRx code. They never have scripts ready in time. Literally the last 3 months people have been super mad because they have been waiting for 3+ hours. Hire the old team back please or I’m going somewhere else!

Called earlier am a day before my trip and explained need meds filled &will be out of town . I was told that my med would be ready before closing sometime in evening next day after I explained I will be gone by then. Then givin the well we’ll see. Another time a lady on phone was rude, slow, tried to bully the conversation and just rush me off the ph. When do pharmacies have a 2-3day fill time rate? If you ask for something your paying and waiting for and get treated like a inconvenience. Go to Safeway,bartells, fredmyers Walgreens or maybe a different CVS. This one is pretty bad

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Anyone who is handicapped or injured and need your medicine, get it filled somewhere else!I have a broken foot and torn ligament, and am using crutches while healing. My mobility is extremely limited. I had to pick up my medicine inside because the pharmacy drive-thru was unexpectedly closed. When I crutches to the pharmacy counter, turns out, theyd blocked the handicapped waiting area off for flu shots. I was told I had to wait 15 minutes for a prescription and was told I couldnt sit in the handicapped waiting area even though no one was currently using it for flu shots. I then asked for a chair and was refused, even after explaining Id have to crutch back out to the parking lot to my car & then back in, and I could barely walk, or stand. I had to insist on sitting in the handicapped/flu shot area. This is not ok. Its inconsiderate of handicapped people. Thoughtless. Horrid customer service. I wonder how many other people who are handicapped or injured and have been refused seating that was originally put there for them while waiting. I dont know if this feedback box is hashtag enabled but putting these here in case it is. Also, I wish Id thought of taking a photo of this while there, but I was struggling just to stand, and Im not hobbling back in there.#CVS #discrimination #ADA #badcustomerservice

I have asked them multiple times to take me off the automated reminder calls for my RX refills because it is distorted and unintelligible on my voicemail. And the techs at the pharmacy are Extremely rude, and provide terrible service. It took them all day to fill a simple RX and when I returned (again) to pick it up, they still didnt have it ready because they were waiting for someone else there to address a change to my dosage. Instead of letting me know there was another delay, they just let me drive back and forth again on the promise that it would be ready at X time. Then when I did get it, the tech kept talking over me and would not let me finish a sentence or treat me like a human. I was not even worth looking up from his screen. I would offer negative points if it was an option.

Horrible Service. I went into this pharmacy at 5pm to pick up prescription that was just sent over. Naturally, it wasnt done by then, which was not a problem. When I asked how long it would take, he assured me it would be done within two hours due to a back up, and that they would call if it was delayed.After returning three hours later (8p) with an even higher temp. and sicker than I was before - they proceed to tell me they wouldnt have it done that night! The told me to come back in the morning or stick around for an hour because they might get it done.Im very sick and the prescription Im was waiting for was needed to be started that night. They didnt even call to let me know that it would in fact not be done. If they had been honest from the beginning, I would have told them to transfer it to another location.I will be taking my business elsewhere, where I can trust the pharmacy to give accurate timelines, instead of making you play a guessing game.

TL;DR: I got discriminated against for being disabled. I wish I could give them zero stars.What happened: I pulled up to the drive thru. I was nervous because I’m autistic and the guy asked, “Is everything okay?” I mentioned I was autistic and had problems speaking. He then turns his head to the side, hides a laugh from me, and then continues to speak, “Okay what can I help you with?” I then explained that I had a prescription and gave him both of my cards (I’m dual covered by my parents). Apparently, there was a problem with one of my cards. I then said it was fine if I just used one, and paid for the rest of it myself since the other card was “not working”. His response: “Oh no ma’am, you need both cards.”So the next day, I come back to the same exact guy with the fixed card. This time, I’m asked to come inside the pharmacy because “something was still wrong with it”. Not only did I wait 40 minutes for the card issue, but the pharmacist also made me talk on the phone with an insurance company. I said, “Sir, I can’t talk on the phone. I’m autistic and have phone communication and hearing issues,” to which he responded, “Too bad. It’s not my job to talk to them.”So I was basically forced to babble/mumble on the phone where the guy witnessed me having struggles. Yet, he continued to mock me as I was on the phone with the company. Not only that, but shortly afterwards, he had the nerve to say, “Uh yeah we can’t figure out why the card is bad. We’ll just have to use one card and you’ll pay for the rest.”And of course, I was furious, “That’s exactly what I wanted to do in the first place. Yet you ignored me,” to which he responded, “That’s not my problem.”Needless to say, I got my prescription (which also was the wrong one, btw) and got the hell out of there. I’ve since switched pharmacies and have had absolutely no issues with the other card or prescription. So unless you want to deal with an ableist, inaccurate, POS pharmacy, don’t come here.

Love this CVS. Its clean and has all the essentials you need if you dont want to go to the grocery store. The prices here are great too! This place does have a pharmacy for those who were wondering.The only downside of this location is that there is no exit to head west out of the lot since they put up a barrier forcing you east only. I would go here more frequently if it did.

They have been holding my prescriptions hostage for 3 days because their system is down. I tell them this is ridiculous and I need my prescriptions, they tell me to have my doctor call into another pharmacy. Well since CVS filled them meaning they submitted them to my insurance, I CANNOT GET THEM FILLED AND COVERED BY INSURANCE AGAIN FOR 30 DAYS. I just want my prescriptions and their staff has no suggestions and wont call my insurance to straighten it out. Honestly, I dont take them for anything life threatening, but if I did what would I do? This place is a joke never going back.,

This is without a doubt the *worst* pharmacy I have ever had the mistfortune of using. In the six months I have been a customer, they have made mistakes on my orders 4 times resulting in either having to pay (hundreds) out of pocket for a medication that *should* be fully covered, or filling it *days* late, despite having all the prescription information weeks in advance. They continue to make the same mistakes over and over again. I have even begun calling them every day for the few days *before* my prescription is ready to make sure they are working on it, and they *still* messed it up, including giving me blatantly wrong information. Other than the pharmacist named Kevin, everyone at this location seems to be extremely incompetent (and frequently rude to top it off.)Go ANYWHERE else, even if you have to drive a little further.

When I first transferred to this pharmacy it was like a godsend. My review was an easy 5 stars.Within past year and a half/two years, the quality of the pharmacy has steadily and rapidly declined. I had to switch pharmacies again, after they noted Id refilled my epilepsy meds already and so I couldnt do so again for 3 months. I did not refill this Rx, but for some reason their system claims I did.They have made the new pharmacy jump through endless hoops to get all my Rxs transferred. And it doesnt help that wait times on the phone are often a solid hour.I can understand long lines and issues caused by being short staffed, but the unchecked incompetency, as well as the horrible attitude of the pharmacist was it for me. Some professions dont have room for big mistakes.

This is the worst cvs store I have ever been to. Iam currently making a complaint on the manager there. I was waiting in line for more than 25mins and I told the manager there service was very slow, the manager cancelled my transaction and rudely said I was being rude and said she wanted me to leave the store. I run my own business and I feel everyone is entitle to their opinion. I asked for store Corp number she refused to give me. I refuse for anyone to be treated like I was I will be contacting Cvs Corporate office. In the morning for anyone who has to go to this cvs store 117 SW 160th Buried, WA. Be advised the customer service is horrible and if you verse your opinion. The manager has a horrible attitude and will lie on you because of there performance. Sad.Reps should always be open to feedback from the customers. It help advance your growth and the service of the business.

What a bunch of crooks! Pharmacist London will ROB you with a partial refill scam. If you have a co-pay, she will charge you for each partial fill!Do your wallet a favor and go to Walgreens - at least when they only have a partial fill, they do not charge you to pick up the rest of the prescription!
