They misled me about the coverage that was provided by my insurance company. The were not friendly when I asked for clarification. I spoke to my insurance company and they were able to reimburse the difference I had to pay at another place.

The young ladies that were working were very friendly and ready to help me. There was one person a head of me so I was waiting and unfortunately they don’t have public restrooms so I had to leave but as soon as I returned they took care of me right away. I had never been to Visionworks but felt very comfortable with the young lady that helped me. She was polite and knowledgeable. I do recommend Visionworks and I plan on buying my next pair of glasses from them.

Would never recommend and I will absolutely never come back.I was 6 minutes late to my appointment and after rushing around with two kiddos to get there: was told coldly and concisely that my appointment was cancelled.That may just be their policy here, but I refuse to pay someone like that one dollar.People are people. Schedules are schedules.Rules have to be followed, but the attitude I received mixed with a rule I don’t agree with makes this place the wrong choice for me for sure.

After I waited a month to get my contacts, I called because the online status said nothing could be found. My contacts were in (why did no one call me?) the store employee even said the text message system doesn’t work all the time. I go in to get my contacts and they ordered the wrong ones! How hard is it to type in a SKU? So now I’m stuck with contacts I can’t wear (they hurt my eyes come to find out) whole they order the correct ones. Guess I’ll wait another month. I’ll never do business here again.

Worst experience ever.Do not recommend. Called several times, same location, same questions, same answer, get to the location and totally different answers, poor customer service. Dulce, was very arrogant and did not care a bit.My husband experienced the same. Not returning not recommend.

This store and all its employees are absolutely amazing! Because of surgery in both eyes last year, my prescriptions are hard to nail down the first time and may take several exams to get it correct. They work with you for as long as it takes to get your lens correct. Cant praise them high enough for their compassion, encouragement and support!

Like wolves pouncing on a lamb..... the disappointment I am experiencing right now is tough to accept from a “trusted “ local business. I have been working in the medical field for more than 10 years and to have my teenager fall victim to an upsell technique is disheartening. In this time of Covid-19 many businesses are suffering, so I guess the opportunity to take advantage of an individual does not end when entering a so-called reputable business. I will NEVER give Master Eye Associates/ Vision Works Burleson any further business from myself, my family, or anyone else who will listen that crosses my path ( this amounts to at least 125+ people per week). I should have taken heed to the reviews. Thank you for our first and final visit.

The doctors and staff at this location were so personable and efficient! I love that they took care to explain to me the procedures they were performing and they made me feel very comfortable during the eye exam. The receptionist told me of all my charges ahead of time so there were no surprises. I’d definitely recommend this eye practice!

Annica was absolutely wonderful and very helpful. She helped navigate through my insurance and with picking out new glasses (which always takes me forever! Loved how honest she was about different frames, what would work and what wouldnt. I really appreciate her opinion and am really happy with the end result. Purchased two pairs of lenses for frames i already had. Asked to make sure they were scratch resistant coating. Have purchased frames and lenses here before and they were great. However this time they did not tell me that since i wasn’t purchasing frames the lenses had no warranty. $208 down the drain and i have a toddler. The lenses are bound to get scratched and i can’t count on a warranty to get me through. Very disappointed. I will not be purchasing anything else from them. Ever again. I’ll purchase from Zenni. At least those will be cheap enough if they get scratched i can just order new pair.

Reading a lot of negative reviews but I had a great experience. Dr. Parnell was AWESOME! Very friendly and very knowledgeable about the eye itself and my condition. He made sure he answered any questions I had. It was easy to scheduled an appointment. I was there for less than an hour. Highly recommend.

Came into Visionworks after hearing about a promotion they have going on. Needed a second pair of cheap, non-designer glasses for some work travel coming up. The entire staff was extremely helpful, but Shamaya stood out as I think she could sense I was in a bit of a hurry, and immediately helped me out. She told me the glasses would take an hour to get ready, I decided to grab a quick bite to eat, and before I had sat down for food, I received a text that the glasses were ready to go!! Not even 15 minutes later. I would highly recommend Visionworks for your go-to store for optometry needs.

Annica was awesome! She greeted me right away and was so helpful. It took me forever to finally decide on what I wanted, but she was patient and took her time with me until we found my perfect frames.

I went in to find frames for my 5 year old and my husband. Kristy, Jenna and Annica helped me buy 2 for my daughter and 2 for my husband and I even found a clear pair for myself! I got such a great deal. I couldnt say no! Earlier I the week I called regarding questions about a previous purchase for my daughter. The glasses were broken and Dulce processed my warranty replacement right over the phone, all I had to do was bring in the broken pair to trade out! Will definitely be back next year! 😉

Well I went in ordered glasses for my daughter and I well my lenses were put in computer right but wrong in my glasses. When I came to report this not only did they make me wait to talk to someone after optometrist had explained the issue, but they wanted me to wait an extra 7 days to correct. Didn’t offer any apologies. I had to call corporate office and this prompted a call from Visionworks with a discount and my glasses delivered to my house in 2 business days. Never again will I visit this location because now I question their work.

Was in and out in 30 minutes with the great help of Annica! She helped me pick my glasses found the most reasonable prices for me to keep me in my budget. You could tell she was in no hurry to get you out the door and truly wanted to help. I have been going to vision works for years! That will not be changing.

Not sure if Jenna was having a bad day, or if shes truly incompetent. However my short experience with her, Ill never return to this location. I wish there were a way to give ZERO stars.

Even tho they were busy, she never rushed me through it. She was very helpful.When I went back to pick them up, I was helped by Kristi. After going to America’s Best for a small repair, they told us that they couldn’t fix their product and they recommend us to come here to get my mom’s glasses fixed. The eye doctor here is wonderful. He is the only reaso the rating is a 2. The staff seems untrained and has no clue what is going on. It took over a month to get my contact lenses ordered. They still haven’t arrived. Each time I go back they say another few days and they will be in. I won’t go back and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Went in for glasses and was offered assistance immediately. Was in and out in under 30 minutes on a Saturday afternoon. Staff was polite and helpful. I’ve always gotten my eye glasses at vision works and will continue to do so.

Today I had an appointment scheduled for 1:30, I arrived on time, filled out my paperwork and waited. I waited approximately 30 minutes before a tech called me to the area that checks my current prescription and such. After this she told me they were a little behind and it would be 30-45 minutes before the doc could see me. So I waited, went and walked the mall, came back, waited some more. At 3:08 I decided I was done waiting. I let the ladies at the desk know that my appointment was for 1:30 it is now after 3 and I cannot wait any longer. So I left without getting a new prescription for contacts and glasses like I went for in the first place. Very unapologetic, nobody seemed concerned that I, along with several other people have now been waiting nearly 2 hours for their appointment. I want to add that they request you arrive 15 minutes early to your appointment... Yea okay Ill try real hard to do that next time, just kidding Im not going back.

I had a very bad experience. I feel like I was tricked into buying things I did not need and that my insurance wouldnt cover so these things would be out of pocket. The staff was very pushy and fast. Doctor was not very helpful either. I was charged for a contact fitting. At what point in time this happened im NOT sure but I know I paid for it. Not to mention I still cannot see. Wrong prescription in both eyes. Im legally blind so this didnt go over well with me.

We have used Visionworks for all our glasses since they moved there years ago, except once...and we learned our lesson and will ALWAYS buy our glasses for all 4 family members there from now on. The Exam itself and the ladies taking the appointment and insurance was fine but the purchasing of the glasses was awful. Felt like I was an inconvenience to help, pick out a pair, pay, and especially pick up when it was time. Young girl at pick up was so rude and talked to me like I was stupid when she didnt know the answer. She got someone to come over who answered my question fast and effective which I think made her more mad.... Hate the glasses picked out (thats on me) but dont feel like dealing with the sales people so I will take it as a loss. Would return to get the prescription the go elsewhere to buy.

Visionworks In Burleson has been our go to for glasses and contacts since we moved to Joshua in 2013. The staff is always friendly and quick to serve.

Examination and doctor were fine, however, most other staff is incompetent. They included a diagnostic screening (which I did not get) with my routine exam so my insurance wont pay it. If I have to double check everything they do, its not worth my time. Too many other eye places in the area.

Friend of mine purchased eyeglasses last year and paid almost 450.00 and no Seco d pair free, they broke on the same place twice and they gave her new frames. Keep in mind these glasses are only worn at work on the 3rd time of them breaking she was told they did not carry those frames and she would gave to pay for new frames and she would have to pay for new glasses. She took the old glass to Walmart and they put the lenses in the exact frames for 9.00

Very slow. Its nothing to sit and wait an hour or longer. And you have to fill out the paperwork every single time you come in. Even if its only been 6 months. Stopped coming here because of this. Son broke glasses but had to get him in quickly.

Felt rushed in and rushed out of my exam. The eye dr didnt show interest in my specific eye problem. When I chose my glasses and sat down with the optician to customize my glasses, she talked so fast that I couldnt understand what she was saying and felt rushed out.They just didnt seem to care.
