This so the worst Walgreens I have ever been to, staff lacks basic attention to get scripts fulfilled, always long line with only one person taking request, people wait and then get told that they weren’t marked as waiting so their prescription is not ready.Get app notifications to pickup only to go and find the medicine is not ready yet.Just a complete waste of time and effort, definitely moving somewhere else
Like the San Carlos one, Notoriously understaffed and slow as hell. Will be moving to online pharmacies that deliver for free instead, life is too short to wait in line for 30 minutes to drop off a prescription.
It’s very small and always have people waiting in line. For pickup, why it’s so stupid to make everyone wait and put in information and tell you waiting for text (the estimate is never close btw, had to wait 60mins while estimated “another 15min”), and finally when it’s ready you have to wait in line again?
Terrible attendance…. I will not come back.
It is new, but so SMALL.So Small selection of toothpastes. Shampoos too.And Small selection of contraceptives, most just risky roll off male condoms. They do Not sell LOTTERY TICKETS to help our public schools unfortunately. Nearby Safeway has self service terminal.Fantastic women in Pharmacy were let go...(Sept 2020 update)Oh, and no longer the bargain drugstore, so prices are High,,,and I wait and wait for Photo or FEDEX or Sales...understaffed but polite.Unless you have a paper FedEx Label already, they can ship. With only Email Label, you have to go to San Mateo large FedEx to ship...And parking is paid meter!Ouch.
Spacious and well laid out. Products are easy to find. Seems to be understaffed but not terribly noticeable since they are not too busy most of the time. Stocks more products than the other Walgreens on Broadway. Accepts Android Pay.
The cashiers are friendly and helpful. They changed their hours, as of May 3, 2018 - the store from 7am to 11pm, and the pharmacy closes at 9pm Monday to Friday and 6pm on weekends. The pharmacy is close on holidays.
Sadly I have had problems getting prescription filled for my eye surgery on three separate occasions. Each time Got progressively worse. On this final time, I called in advance at 9 AM: confirming they had the product in stock and it would be ready by 1. I was assured by the pharmacist everything would be good.It was Not! They did not have the product in stock, I had to delay my departure and then waited while they scrambled to find the medicine. This has been my pharmacy for years and as a long time Burlingame resident, need to find a better Pharmacy.
Its all designed well and spacious. Parking is dicey since its next door to Luckys and alot of other restaurants. People are well trained there and managed well.
It was a very helpful store in case of emergency.
Open 24 hours.I needed meds and personal items for Ill spouse. Very helpful at 12:30 am. Awaiting 6:00 am flight from SFO to return home
Chronically, seriously under-staffed. Dont plan to run in and grab anything.
I love this Walgreens!
Good looking Walgreens. Has everything that you looks for :)
Its a little bigger than the one on broadway and has more product. They always seem a little under staffed but nothing major.
Normally I shop at the downtown San Mateo location because its closer to me but when I need to go late night this 24 hr location never disappoints. Their early AM staff are gold star customer service!!
Photo service is great
Staff working the front of the store is very friendly, as well as the pharmaceutical staff.
