I wish they’re still in business. I’m due to replace my mattress that I purchased from them over a decade ago. This is the best store that I can get the best service and quality.

Pete is very knowledgeable about his product lines. He helped me select the perfect latex bed for my needs. Its an amazing change and I sleep more soundly than I ever have. I bought the bed a couple of years ago and I will go back to NOS when I am ready to replace it. Five Stars.

The staff there is very knowledgeable and very patient and thorough when asked questions. They encourage testing out the mattresses - take a nap if you want - just make sure you have enough money in the meter.

We purchased the Duo by OMI and absolutely love it. Its the only mattress Ive owned that I dont wake up with back pain. The owners really took the time to work with us and make sure we found a mattress that met our needs - which meant going to the customizable Duo. Review from 2.15.2013I wish there were more people like Howard and more businesses like his...When we moved to the East Bay I finally had the opportunity to get rid of my old flame-retardant-laden mattress.For a while we slept on a shikibuton (Japanese mattress without springs or foam fillers, made entirely of pressed cotton) but its 4-5 inches thick and quite hard so it takes some getting used to.And then I googled natural materials mattress plus my city and compared the results with the reviews on Yelp: the result was Naturally Organic Sleep in Burlingame. Its a very unassuming location, bordering on difficult to find but once you find it, youre sure to find the best chemical-free mattress at an astoundingly good price. If you have the luxury of waiting a while, set up an FSA account and get it at 30-40% cheaper and without VAT!I really appreciate businesses that encourage consumers to pick the healthier option by offering discounts like these.I didnt use an FSA account (poor planning on my part) when I purchased one of the pure LatexBliss mattresses (talalay latex). However, together with two low-profile latex pillows I paid around 2k and received a Bamboo Sheet Set valued at ~ $200 as a gift. I absolutely love these sheets - they are super soft to the touch and made of natural fibers. However what I love even more is my new mattress - it has a firm support (the way we like it), there is no motion transfer - someone else moving on the same bed will not wake you up. I didnt notice any unnatural/uncomfortable increased temperature at close contact. Its just perfect!The only drawback is that it is more difficult to move/turn because the material is heavy and somewhat pliable. Therefore, cleaning the room now became a two-person affair which is how it should always be :)We even had some friends over and after several nights they said they fell in love with our new mattress.Howard went way above and beyond what the service entails: he helped me carry the pillows outside the store and walked with me in the rain for quite a long time (I couldnt find close parking that day), he delivered the mattress himself (shipping cost for 25+ miles: $50), and he explained all money-saving options possible.I would really like to see prices for healthier materials go even lower - and with increased demand, they will. Right now natural materials with no added petroleum-based, flammable fillers, no flame-retardants, no fungicides, pesticides, adhesives, and other endocrine disruptors or toxins are much more expensive than the mattress filled with what could impair the neurological development of ones kids. Is that fair? Why arent medical insurance companies doing/saying anything?I have done quite a lot of research before buying and Im very happy with my final choice: if I had to purchase another mattress soon, I would go back there without any hesitation, even if its not very close to my home.If you are trying to find a healthy alternative to inhaling chemicals in your sleep for a third of your life, this store distributes several options/brands at the best prices Ive seen in this area.
