Needing some replacement windows, I was referred to Alexander Co by my General Contractor and longtime friend. I called for a appointment to get recommendations and cant say enough about the estimator and project manager, Walter.If you have a difficult or challenging project, make sure that you asked for him. His recommendations were spot-on and I should have an estimate back within a day. The best part about this company is that they not only sell the windows but they have an in-house installation crew and stand behind their work.

This is the second time I’ve used them for windows. They did an amazing job the first time and it was no different the second. Their consultant was very helpful, flexible and transparent. Worked with us to come up with various configurations and helped us think through various scenarios. The workers are fast and kept the job site clean and did quality work. We love our windows and sliding doors and would highly recommend them to anyone!

Obviously, since Im a repeat customer, Im very satisfied with the products available, the professional installations, and the personalized customer service. Alexander Company is very professional and at the same time very customer friendly. The products they offer are high quality and their installations are trouble-free. Alexander Company installed new windows on our home.- There quote was reasonable.- They Clearly explained our window options and the installation method.- There workers were on time every day. They were clean and courteous. They protected all of our stuff. I have used Alexander Glass previously to install 9 Anderson windows in my home. They did a great job!Recently due to covid I ordered 3 of the same Anderson Windows directly from Home Depot to take advantage of their sale. Savings at HD was great and the windows were delivered directly to my house from Anderson! I waited 12 weeks!I then called Alexander Glass and left a message for John to call me. I waited a week, no response. I then called again.The person answering the phone was all set to do an appt until I said I already had the windows. Lots and lots of stupid excuses why they now could not do the job. I said I have the windows and you could measure them to confirm fit... Answer is No! She said they would check with John, nothing back.My conclusion is that Alexander wants a big markup on the material to add to the job price! It’s sad, they are installers not manufactures and are General Contractors too! So they should be willing to at least price the jobI was very surprised at the non helpful attitude by the phone staff, not at all what I was expecting.

Alexander Company came out and replaced two French doors with sliding glass doors and did a terrific, and easy for me, job. The estimator was responsive and got me back several iterations of a quote until we had what we wanted, the installers were polite, covid responsible, and did an impeccable job. They handled everything related to permitting, including having the approval emailed to them which allowed them to schedule the plaster replacement as soon as the work was approved. Easy for me and great doors for my house, we couldnt be happier!

This is my second time using Alexander Windows and they are great. Worth the wait on getting the exact window I needed and the installation is fast, efficient and reliable. I recommend them highly. I contacted Alexander Company to replace all 11 original steel windows in a nearly 100-year old condo. I had the pleasure of working with John Alexander, who came to inspect the job, scope and spec it and place the order with Milgard. Alexander Company acquired the permit on my behalf. Once the windows arrived, they sent a competent and friendly crew to my unit in between the rains, took out the old windows, put in the beautiful, new ones, which matched the rest of the building, and patched the building stucco. What a difference! Based upon this experience, I would recommend Alexander Company without question.

I was pleased with their professional way of doing business and they were competitive on prices. The outcome was very nice. We replace 4 bedroom windows in a 83 year San Francisco house in the Parkside District and matched the looks of the original with modern fearues.

I strongly recommend the services of AlexanderCo. They installed 6 new street facing windows for me. Walter was great to work with through the design consultation and Jose and Carlos did an extremely precise and clean job of the install with good communication throughout.

Good communication. On time. Set proper expectations. Installers were perfectionists and reset our window to perfectly aline the interior trim as well as door/window.

Our HOA forced us to use Alexander Co. for window replacement, we did it 2 years ago, since installation of our new windows its super cold in the winter, gas bill is way higher than it was ever before, I could fill the air draft in most rooms, it was not installed to its best. If you have an option, I would recommend trying other company.

Awful service. Never returns called. Waiting over 9 months to get windows repaired. Several trips out to fix or try and fix issues. Still not reconciled. I suggest going to another window company who values their customers and backs their products. Thank you.
