The Wine Stop is a hidden gem! Expert advice on pairings. I always learn something new when I’m there. I now feel comfortable ordering on my own- anywhere. Customer service is off the charts; Harry can break down some of the world’s finest wines to a simple man like me.

The Wine Stop bought wine from our small winery last May but still havent paid us ($1,200) and do not even respond to our inquiries. Perhaps thats how they can offer good prices to their customers by selling wine they didnt pay for? They rating for honesty would be zero stars but the system wont allow it.

Placed an order with this business and my order was never shipped. Tried emailing multiple times with no response. I’ve seen at least one other review stating they’ve done this before, don’t waste your money or time.

I had not been into the Wine Stop since before COVID. Same great service and quality with good prices. I never know what to buy but Harrys vast knowledge and expertise always point me in the right direction.

On the real, if you give this place a bad review, youre tripping. These guys have everything I mainly look for, but if you want easy to find cheap things. Then go to bevmo.Great prices and hard to find bottles. Ill be coming here a lot.

I dont know anything about wine, but these guys asked a few questions about my taste preferences, and steered me towards a highly regarded and inexpensive bottle that I enjoyed and my wine connoisseur friends enjoyed, too. Im definitely a repeat customer now!

Dont let the modest store front fool you. This place has been reinvented! A welcome revival for Burlingame Ave. The Wine Stop recently added a beer and wine tasting bar in the back room, with weekly/daily tastings. I went to a Chardonnay tasting the other week and was happy to test high-end chardonnays with friendly pours for only $10. Burlingame needed this! Finally, a place for young trendsetters or established Burlingamers to flock to and mingle together while imbibing yummy wines and artisan beers. Not to mention you can purchase and cork or bring your own wine and cork it in the bar for just $10.

Knowledgeable staff, huge selection of alcohol. There is also a tasting room in the back where you can chill and drink yourself silly.
