Great experience and awesome customer service! After doing research on a dishwasher and finding it on the DeWaard & Bode website and then finding it listed at a different company for cheaper, D&B gave it to us for the lesser price.For a fee, we arranged to have them deliver it and haul our old one away sometime within the next week or so.Were very pleased with D&B! Weve gotten appliances from them before and will continue to do so!
Delivery folks were polite and professional and they completed the stacking washer and dryer install as expected. At the time of order they also provided the option of moving my old washer and dryer out of the house for me, which was very convenient. They were willing to price match with a non-locally owned store on the product I was interested in so that was also generous. Areas of improvement would be better communication on the lack of knowledge on ETAs. Supply chain is out of balance on most items and its always best to make it clear to the customer that an ETA is very likely to be delayed so it doesnt come to a surprise later.

Ordered a dishwasher from another store back in October hot a constant run around, not in stock, coming in next week then next month one excuse after another cancelled order and went to Dressed&Bode, they were honest and upfront about the delivery problems from the factory due to Covid. We got a very good deal and they constantly kept us informed and as soon as they received the appliance they setup delivery and installation. Great communication and dependable. Will definitely buy from them again for our appliance needs.

Im not sure about the equipment because they just got installed today. But I will say I am 100% impressed with the sales team. Namely Joe. And Edgar with delivery. that dude was on point! I had a difficult home. stairs, narrow isle, a pony wall. his can do, will do attitude sold me. a lot of people would have looked at it and got angry. he just said. its not that bad. Love his positivity. I wish I had an employee like him! outstanding man and worker. he deserves a raise. these two encounters have sold me on your company. I can get the product anywhere. What I cant get is great customer service. you provided that! well done.
If you are looking for a self leveling refrigerator this is the place to go. They bring it in set it up and nothing else is necessary. It will level on its own especially after you put things in it. Atleast that is what they told my Wife and Daughter when they delivered it. So after paying for full delivery and setup we got to read the manual and complete the leveling and door closing adjustments that we paid for. I called and let the staff know what happened and they said they would call me back tomorrow. Well 4 days after and no call. My suggestion is to try another place when you shop. Trying to support a local business is a mistake in this case.Update: The manager Dave contacted me and corrected the problem and he was very helpful and concerned about what happened.

We were shopping for a dishwasher and he gave us a lot of information so we could make an informed decision. He answered all questions comfortably and never pressured us to make a decision or purchase. We also met the manager, Dave, who also was extremely helpful and friendly. We had them install the one we purchased and the installer was very professional, timely, and efficient. We will definitely be back for future appliance needs.
Lovely store space, very clean and everything was well-labeled.However, dont bother coming here if you live just south of Arlington. As a matter of fact, I was told that only northern parts of Arlington are a delivery destination for them. Stanwood is about as far south as we go.Willing to sacrifice the sale of a three thousand dollar refrigerator, a possible range (I was in the market for one, but hadnt decided), and a washer/dryer all at the same time? For a few extra miles? Offer a mileage option for delivery then. That is unacceptable customer service.When the salesman saw my clearly confused face, he offered further explanation that they deliver all the way to Canada! ...is that supposed to make me feel better? Youll deliver 80 miles north, but I cant be given an option for Marysville?Okay. Thats fine. Its unlikely they would have made a ton of money on me anyway, as I was there for a 0% interest Labor Day sale they had going on...but I wanted to shop local. So much for that! Guess its not local ENOUGH!
Terry, the support technician was knowledgeable and effective in his assistance with my dishwasher issue. It was not draining. He was most patient in walking me through the steps to see what might be causing the issue. He was also very informative about things to look for and do to help prevent this from happening again. Turned out the door was not closing properly. This is my second purchase from DeWaard & Bode. Last one was a washer and dryer 19 years ago and they are still going strong. I have and will continue to recommend DeWaard & Bode and also use them for any future purchases. I absolutely love everything about this company! I am pretty stingy with 5 star reviews, but this one is totally deserved. The salesman Ryan H. exceeded my expectations on every level from professional service to timely follow-up. It was awesome that he actually knew who I was when I called and didnt seem to need to figure it out.Then the delivery experience. The installers, Colton and Tristan were beyond fabulous. The care and level of detail in installing the appliances (we bought 4) was so amazing that I am struggling to find the right adjectives. They answered every question, explained the details on how each appliance worked, and they tested everything including leveling the refrigerator and running a full cycle on the new washer. They even came back at the end of their shift when I had an issue with adjusting the shelves on the refrigerator.We called a moment ago because I was working on the registration of the appliances and found out that that they had done it for us! Wow - just wow!

I went to the Burlington Deward & Bode to look at refrigerators and I was surprised by the large selection and the prices were competitive with the big box stores. Dave Bouma was very helpful by answering my questions and showing me different models pointing out the differences. He was very knowledgeable about the products and there was no pressure at all. I purchased a nice LG refrigerator and it was delivered in a reasonable time frame. The delivery guys had to remove my front door just to get the new refrigerator into the house and they put it back on.I highly recommend this business, its hard to find an appliance store that still gives good old fashion customer service plus good prices and selection.
We had an excellent experience ordering our new Thermidor double oven even in a COVID era from Dewaarde & Bode in Burlington, WA. We never had to enter the store - we simply phoned in what we wanted to match our cooktop, sent measurements of the opening & waited for our order to arrive and delivery. Nick helped the entire process to be seamless, kept in continual contact with us and assured us that the new ovens would fit after checking specs. He recommended an excellent installer as well. We would never hesitate to buy again from this business or use their recommended installer, Jeff! He arrived at 8 am and had our old oven removed and the new one installed within an hour! They did a superb job from start to finish.

A beautiful new refrigerator was delivered to my house by two nice young men from DeWaard and Bode today. They were respectful with my old 1910 house - had to remove an outside door - but it was all done professionally and thoughtfully, giving me time to clean out my old fridge and getting my birds out of the cold outside air. They were patient and respectful and informative - handling all my questions. I would like to make sure Ethan and Adam know how nice it was to have them deliver it for me. Recently had a locked door on our Samsung clothes washer. We called the service department 3 times, each time the recorded voice promised to return our call by the end of the business day. No call! We finally called the BURLINGTON store and talked with a helpful employee who walked us through some possible fixes. When those fixes didnt work we talked to Dave, the store manager. He explained the heavy demand on the service department, but promised to help us! We explained the problem-- a locked door-- and he shared a possible remedy. We followed his instructions which resolved the problem. Dave was a great help and made himself available should we need help in the future. Dave is a great asset to DeWaard & Bode.Don & Pat DeJong
I got a good price on a new dishwasher, with courteous customer service. Same model at home depot was $150 more, and I didnt have to bother with the moody sales lady at home depot.

Sales staff we worked with were friendly and helpful. Price was competitive or better than even the big box stores. Delivery was arranged very quickly even during a busy time (right before Christmas). Ethan and Elliot arrived in the first half of the 2 hour window, and performed a flawless delivery and setup.
The people who worked their made us feel like we needed to buy something. We only needed a washer. A employee talked us into get a washer and dryer. He didn’t tell us about hidden fees, also he told us we could return them. After talking he said all sales are final. A waist of $1500

We are completely satisfied with our purchase of an Amana Refrigerator from D & B. Our in store contacts Ryan and Dave found us the Consumer Reports recommended (freezer at the bottom) model that we wanted, at a significantly reduced price due to a barely detectable blemish. The delivery Crew of Ethan and Smith were outstanding, taking utmost care to move the large new appliance into our kitchen through narrow door ways and remove our old unit with absolutely no damage to the surroundings. Their courtesy and desire to please were especially noteworthy. Well done everyone!
We are so pleased we went with this smaller local store. (Which actually has a ton of inventory to choose from)To begin, our salesman Joe humprey was exceptional. We had no idea what we wanted and he took so much time to answer questions and we were not pressured at all into more expensive models.We selected a fridge and purchased the affordable protection plan. (5 years full coverage and way cheaper than the big box stores)The delivery team was on time and very nice.The fridge ended up having a system leak. This is an issue they had no way of knowing as it seemed fine when initially plugged in. We noticed it on a Friday morning. By Friday afternoon a tech was at our home. And by Friday night at 6pm we had a new replacement fridge delivered . The whole experience was painless and we were so thankful they took care of everything. Joe and his manager checked in several times to make sure we were taken care of.We will definitely be keeping our business with this store!
Pleased with the store and sales people, I specifically asked about repair service as most companies fail at providing good, reliable repair, once they sell you an appliance. I was guaranteed good service. My new refrigerator was delivered. After the man left the hubs looks at it and says, the doors arent level. Which they were not. I walked in to the store, requested repair service. An email was sent on my behalf. Many, many days later I was contacted and an appointment was set up to level my refrigerator doors. When the repair man came, he blamed the floors(solid wood) of the house, said he did not have a shim to fix the doors and he would come back to fix them after his whoever set up a new appt with me. This was back in May. It is now mid July, the door is not fixed and I never heard back from repairs. Good appliance sales do not go hand in hand with good repair service :(
Having declared to never buy another appliance from Home Depot, I was happy to have found D&B! The sales people were super helpful and informative, going the next mile getting us our fridge delivered the next day. The installers also went above and beyond with a few roadblocks getting the fridge to its final location. I couldnt recommend a better place to get your appliance, extremely happy with them!
The entire staff was very helpful from the time we went in just looking to the day we bought a set of 5 appliances. They kept me up to date on the delivery schedule and walked us through maximizing rebates. Price is not everything but they were also the best price!
Bo and Austin installed our new Samsung range on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, and did an excellent job. They arrived a bit early (which was great) and quickly removed our old range and then installed our new Samsung range. They took particular care to ensure it was level and showed us how to work the range. Their professionalism was appreciated and we commend them on their good work.
Frances and I went to the Burlington store planning to replace our ailing refrigerator. We met Nick Shkurat in sales and he spent a great part of the afternoon with all of the different features, pros and cons, of the many models. In the end we decided to replace all of our aging appliances, which were older GEs, with new GEs. Nick was great in finding us the best deals on the units of our choice. Ethan and Elliot were the delivery and set up crew that came a week later. They were meticulous in moving out the old appliances and installing the new. Ethan went out of his way to make sure we understood the dos and donts of using these new gadgets. Hats off to Dewaarde and Bode for fielding a great team!

Edit/Update: the owner was amazing and did what he could to help fix the problem. Unfortunately the lint trap is just a flawed design - it shrinks after the first dry and all the lint goes past the trap. So not much I can do unless I get a whole different dryer. Hopefully the model goes out of style. Manager was awesome though, it wasnt his problem to fix but he tried anyway. I wish I had bought the unit there and Im sure it wouldnt have gotten to this point in the first place!I accidentally wrote a bad review about this DeWaard and Bode when I meant to put it on Bellingham - the owner was very concerned with our experience and reached out himself even though the Bellingham store is not his own to see if he could help.
Ask for Joe. He will hook you up with whatever appliance you need. Both him and his sales partner are honest and will treat you right. Buy the 5 year warranty.
I have purchased a washer and dryer, and most recently, a stove from Dewaard and Bode. Both times Colter delivered and installed them. Hes a great asset to the company. Hes polite, answers all questions and completes the installation quickly and efficiently, and is very careful to avoid any damage to the surrounding cabinetry, floors, etc.

I thought Lowes would be the way to go for appliances. I realized after not being helped at lowes after 10 minutes, I should try another store. Swapping out all you kitchen appliances is a major purchase. As I finished speaking with the rep at Lowes I realized he just wasnt an expert and I would be responsible for this purchase going right. My next stop was Dewaard & Bode where I was greeted by a professional Justin Goodman. I shared with him my budget and he showed me several options that would work for my family. The install process went smoothly with the install guy not leaving until he got my fridge perfectly leveled. Everyone from the manager, salespeople, install team and scheduling department made it happen!!!

Beware of bate and switch type business dealings. We bought all new kitchen appliances and were repeatedly told we would be getting a $400 rebate. After a 3 month wait we received a $400 card to use in their store for mattresses and furniture. This was also our bad for not reading the small print and going by what we were being told
