The windshield looks fine, the service is lackluster. Nothing beats the shards of glass all inside my vehicle and vents though! That was top notch! There are no envelopes or a way to mark your keys before putting them in the drop box/hole in the front door. The motto is: Safelite repairs, Safelite replace. I should have known not to expect much more.

Easy appointment process and reminders by text. Fast friendly check in and followup by text about progress and when your car is ready. My car was ready before promised and it looked great with no problems at all. Hope i dont need them again but I will definitely will call if I do.

PLEASE READ! A small knick (about the size of a dime) came back with me from a road trip to Atlanta. A tech repaired it on 07/07/21. Within 8 days the repair had spread to the middle of my entire windshield. Went back that same day and asked the lead tech to take a look. He said it wasnt their fault but that they would have to replace the entire windshield (which to me is an indication that it was indeed their lack of expertise). Lead tech scheduled me an appt. for 07/19/2021. The customer advocate, Kelsey, the lead tech, nor the manager, Michael (who never looked up at me or made eye contact btw), informed me about any out of pocket costs; just scheduled an appt. I was basically blindsided on Monday about the cost that NO ONE told me about! Not only do I have a windshield that I have to pay out of pocket to replace but I also received zero customer service from this location; if youre a POC (or even if not, the reviews are true) please do not utilize this establishment, they nor their district manager will treat you like a consumer. I wouldnt let this place replace my dogs windshield- save your money, energy, and time and just go elsewhere. Preferably a family owned place that WILL treat you like family. *pictures attached*

It is infuriating to keep getting delayed on getting the windshield replaced, but (annoying as it is to say) I understand the break in supply chain from getting the supply from your distribution center. When you have to rely on someone else to do their job to get the windshield on the truck. Thanks Mike for reassuring me that you are doing what you can to communicate with the warehouse to get the part here. It is what all of us are asking for these days, a little more communication.

This was my second time using Safelite. The first time went well. This time the young woman at the front desk was rude. She said, you have to contact your insurance and file a report. She acted upset that I had come in. I asked if someone could look at the damage to see if it could be repaired? The repairman said it could be fixed. She took my insurance card and said they will have to call you to do the report. But once she called them with the date the rock hit my windshield the claim was handled. The work was done quickly after getting past her.

Scheduling was a breeze, checking in and leaving my vehicle was easy, it was a quick turnaround and I got a text for pick up.When I got in my car it smelled horribly of cigarette smoke and I had oil stains on my cloth seats.The recalibration on all my safety features failed and none of them work. I have an inspection scheduled for my car this week so Im trying to get ahold of an agent. I call the number and Im told by the automated system everything is exclusively done online and the call ended. I go online and it tells me for a recalibration failure I have to email them. I also tried the texting number they mentioned in the automated system and I was texted back an agent will be with you shortly and its been 20+ minutes and I still havent spoken with anyone.If I have to go back to the store its going to be an extreme inconvenience as it is an HOUR AWAY from my home. I also got rid of the cigarette smell and my husband cleaned the stains out of my seat and Im not interested in getting those back when I take it back to have it fixed.

As I was leaving work in my new car (I have only had my car about 5 weeks now) I was merging onto interstate and a rock cracked my windshield! I was so upset, and honestly, the crack caused an awful glare when the sun hit my windshield. I was able to schedule a same-day appointment at Safelite and they had me in and out in 15 minutes with a repaired windshield. Thank you! I would highly recommend this location to everyone I know.

I thought it would be nice to get a new windshield on an 18 year old car. Didnt have to do it, just nice to get done. Booked an appointment, and the removed my windshield before telling me that they couldnt install a new one until a body shop did some welding work for rust. If I had known this was a possibility, I would have never had this done. Dont get work on an old car from them, and *DEFINITELY* dont prepay like I did, you might be paying for a tow truck after they leave your car unsafe to drive.

Had the windshield in my wifes car replaced. 8 am Saturday appointment. The guys where actually there to open the door. Was greeted friendly and my car was taken right in. Informed of the progress as they went along. Super nice waiting area. The staff was courteous and friendly all the time. Highly recommend.

Pretty good service, pleasant professional, and prompt. Tried hard to do good job. Had two very small rock chips-cracks fixed/filledHowever was told that it may still crack further, no guarantee and the cracks were just as evident as before they cant fix that. So I was left wondering why I paid hundreds of dollars with no guarantee of anything being better.

I scheduled an appointment today and when I arrived the young lady behind the counter behaved as though I was bothering her. She handed a slip of paper for me to sign with no explanation. She retrieved a gentleman from the back to look at my window. He came out into the lobby, open the front door and said it needs to be replaced. He did not tell me why or engage in any conversation and walked back through a door. I proceeded to get a prices and stated I would pay for it, she told me I could not, only through insurance. I stated i should pay deductible and let insurance take care of it, Her smart remark and tone was that is your call. Of course it is my call. I did not ask her for permission to handle my business and how presumptions to her to comment at all. I proceeded to Alamance Glass and was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. They were extremely pleasant and informative. I have used a different Safelite location many many years ago and if this is what they have become....No thanks.

UPDATE: Had my windshield replaced on my van 3/29/2021. Everything looked ok had some dust on the inside but thats to be expected, molding on one side is a little different than the other. On 3/31/21 its raining and Im leaving, turn on wipers, they swipe 2 times and passenger side wiper now isnt working. It was a BIG PAIN IN THE REAR to get anyone on the phone (which you cant. Either text or email) to help with this issue. I had to text a number and text all this info and my problem. I now have an appt today between 12 and 5 for someone to come fix it.Appt was between 12 and 5pm. At 5pm guy called and said hed be there around 7pm. At 8pm he called and said hed be there in 20 minutes. Got there around 8:30 got my wiper fixed with my husbands help. The other guy cross threaded the nut onto the stud. Had to put a washer on it so it would tighten up. Guy was done at 9pm.

I needed to replace my windshield. the insurance scheduled an appointment and I had several messages from salite to confirm. I confirmed and one or two days before, they called me and said they dont have parts yet. ok. i already took a day off for this and they wanted me to reschedule. I was not happy, but I wasnt mad because this could be happened. they wanted me to come back a week later, which was today, my sister took off her work because I could not make it this time, and dropped off and picked up the car. and THIS IS WHAT THEY DID!! a hole on the window!!!! they didnt say anything until my sis complained. and this was because a windshield with sensor on it, it was costing more than other normal windshield. of course the recallibration was charged. and are you serious if this?? I dont know if sensor would work with this big hole!! I would NEVER recommend this shop, I would not come back, neither in the future!!

Trust me check around on prices before you spend a dime here. I priced several different glasses here asking with a buddy of mine. I found a couple of places offering the same glass much cheaper and the service was equal. This review reflects a certain type of glass I was looking for and keep in mind in no way shape or form reflects their prices on every type of automotive glass. Also Im not rating their performance but their prices. I couldnt afford them to replace anything for me. So my two stars is based on the price for the glass I was looking for. Thats why I say look around before you commit to replacement glass they may offer you a better deal then I was offered. Just being honest completely I have nothing to loose by telling you to shop around anyone spending money should always get the most bang for the buck. Good luck!!

Placed order online, the tech that was going to my house and fix it up asked if my car was sheltered and had said yes he got there and said he Cannot do it because his truck was not going to get through the yard because it was going to get stuck: so what he did a the time being was cover my broken class with clear wrap ontop of my paint of my car which can damage the paint once removed but did not happen when arrived to their shop. The receptionist was very rude and had no professionalism What so ever, but Once my glass got replaced and they returned my Jeep the glass particles were still in my trunk . I did not say anything when they gave me back my Jeep because they were already closing but I did come back so they could clean out the particles. They told me that I was the one that broke the glass and it’s not there job to do so . I payed them all the money so they can take care of what happened to my glass, that comes along with what I payed for. And he said you need to take everything out while he was standing there he could of helped but no he just watched me do it and said and take that out too. How Proffesional right!

I scheduled a windshield replacement online one night while I was at work, for my poor windshield. It had been damaged from a truck transporting rocks, go figure. When I arrived at the location to have it repaired, I was the first client to arrive. A technician quickly helped to check me in, however, it was discovered that I had accidentally put the wrong thing in when scheduling my repair appointment (my car has a lane departure system and I had apparently clicked “no” on that question when scheduling). Chris, the manager, asked to speak with me inside. He worked quickly and efficiently to get in contact with my insurance to file the claim and to get the correct windshield delivered to the store first thing this morning. The technician was very thorough with his inspection of the vehicle, pointing out marks I hadn’t even noticed. They had my windshield done in a few hours (< 4, took a bit longer than most because of the recalibration for the lane departure system) and they also vacuumed my floorboards, which was sweet. Their product also comes with a lifetime warranty. If I ever have to replace a windshield again, which I hope I don’t, I will definitely be returning to Safelite. Very impressed with the service.

One of the best business operations Ive personally experienced. I called for an appt and was directed to the website due to volume of calls and was given a promo code for my inconvenience which helped me to save $20.00. Giving them a One because I had to choose something to be able to write this. My husband took his car there and was supposed to be getting a stage 1 clutch for his 3000GT. Well, he picked the car up paid only to find out a few weeks ago that the stock clutch was still on the car. Thats alot of money down the drain. These people CANT be trusted.

Couldnt be more pleased with the service we got from Safelite AutoGlass in replacing the front windshield of our Volvo XC90. We recently moved to Burlington from Atlanta and, shortly after arriving, we saw a small chip at the top of the windshield. Our car was not garaged and, over time, the crack extended in both directions until it was about two feet in length. We called Safelite AutoGlass here in Burlington and Joshua came out to replace the windshield onsite. I had expected we would need to bring the car to the Church Street location and leave it there so I was very pleased they could come to us.Joshua did all of the work by himself and it was very interesting to see how careful he was in protecting both the interior and exterior of our vehicle. It was much more complicated than I expected it would be and required quite a set of Safelite tools designed specifically for this work. The removal of the broken windshield, the installation of the new windshield and the cleanup of the job were all done extremely well. After completing the work, Joshua thoroughly vacuumed the interior to make sure there no fragments of glass left behind. The replacement of the windshield was also surprisingly affordable!We would not hesitate to use Safelite AutoGlass again---they have our unconditional approval!

I have had many chips fixed by safelite at different locations, mostly in wake forest/Raleigh NC. I had a chip fixed at the beginning of January that since this morning has spread across the entire passenger side of my brand new vehicle. I called for assistance with this as it is continuing to spread and was told there was nothing they could do. They could credit the cost of repair back to the insurance company which would not help me as I will have to cover the cost of the windshield replacement as it is too big to repair. This is absolutely ridiculous. Because of poor workmanship it did not take and now I have to cover the cost of a full windshield replacement without even a courtesy of a discount or anything. Never been so dissatisfied with customer service and should not guarantee your work if you are not willing to at least give a discount when your work fails to do what it is supposed. I would give 0 stars if possible.

Bunch of scumbags especially the manager. Wish I could give them less stars. New windshield was 500 dollars covered by the 900 dollar insurance in which I got while I got my car then when the glass was OEM sensor went of on my car. Called safelight, they told me I need to get it calibrated at an Audi dealership. Went to a dealership they found destroyed sensors and gel back. Cost me an extra 250 dollars. Manager refused to reimburse me and the manager was lying about calls that I had made to safelight that he said never happened. Take it somewhere else stay far away from this shop.
