Sales people were very helpful in lending samples for our new kitchen floor. Max, their installer for hard floors was excellent: very experienced, knowledgeable, polite. considerate, and did everything quickly and efficiently. Pricing seemed very reasonable as well, especially for installation. Couldnt be happier (and Im an architect so extra picky!). Would absolutely highly recommend.

I had LVP installed in my lower level and I can’t say more about how wonderful the install went. Max was a one man show and truly outstanding! He was polite, professional and a hard worker. He show up on time, was extremely efficient, did an amazing job and even went above and beyond installing sliders on all my furniture. If you’re looking for a skilled person to install flooring, Max is the guy you want!!!

We looked at other stores for flooring for our kitchen renovation but, AJ Rose was the best to work with and provided samples for us to take home to make sure that the color works with our decor. Max the installer was fantastic and is truly an expert when it comes to flooring. He came to the house and gave us the pros and cons of each type of flooring we were looking at. I was very impressed with their staff. Everyone was very helpful, friendly, responsive and easy to work with. No frustrations even while working during the pandemic. They took great safety precautions when they came to my home to first measure and later install.I was very pleased with the installer who has worked there for 14 years. He did an excellent job and was very polite/pleasant. He did a great job cleaning up too!

When Max arrived he carefully protected our hardwood floors before beginning to remove the old tile kitchen floor. During the removal he found the floor was uneven in the middle and suggested using a floor leveling compound, which he did 2 coats to finally make it even. He laid the new floor after carefully measuring where each tile should go. He just completed the kick plates and grout and everything looks amazing. We appreciate the beautiful work he did and the care he took with everything and his pleasant attitude the whole time.

A.J. Rose Carpets & Flooring has been around for a long time and has a great reputation. The deciding factor for me when I decided to chose them was the service, especially the installer Max. Installing premium vinyl plank flooring on a concrete slab in a basement requires a certain know-how and Max knew exactly what was needed to complete the project. The end result was exactly what my wife and I anticipated, a beautiful floor that can handle the environment of being located on the bottom floor of a split-level. Thanks to both Max and Gus, our sales associate, for making this project a success.

I am currently looking for laminate or vinyl flooring for a couple of rooms. Spent 30 mins in the store where I was the only customer with at least 3 sales associates and no one could be bothered to help me. I will be going elsewhere.

Installation and quick and smooth and the results are fantastic. Getting to that point was less smooth. There was confusion about the time of the initial appointment, and I had to make an additional trip since my swatch selection didnt get recorded properly. All in all, the whole process didnt take too much of my time and the whole process from initial consultation to installation went very quickly.

Very happy with the Carpet and LVT. Great service throughout the process and the installers did a great job!

Update Jan 2021: AJ Rose finally reached out to try to make things right. I have updated our review from 2 to 3 stars.Unfortunately we did not have a great experience with AJ Rose in Oct 2020. Our salesperson was not on the ball, and then there were additional delays, yet they take all your money up front before installation is even scheduled. Shortcuts were taken in installation and with cleanup so the installer had to come back to fix and to clean up the next day. Despite expressing my concerns in an email I never heard from management until quite some time after the fact. The installer was the only person who really did try to make things right with us, so we thank him very much for finally providing good customer service. The wood floor does look really beautiful, so in that sense the final project (after quite a few headaches) is beautiful..

Great experience purchasing carpeting and installation. However, carpeting buckled in a couple of places and called A.J. Rose 3 times to try and schedule an installer to come out and repair. First call never returned, 2nd call was advised an installer would call. 3 weeks later I called a 3rd time and was advised someone would call me back the same day .. never did. Expensive carpeting, very disappointing.

In the times of Covid it’s hard to get anything done. We had to hold up a project until fenders are back in business and allowed into our office and ask and did a fabulous job accommodating our schedule and getting the job done. I would definitely hire him for another job.

We just had a wonderful experience with AJ Rose carpeting. We decided to sell our home quickly once the MA COVID restrictions loosened. We had a room that needed to have the carpet replaced and another that needed the carpet stretched. (humidity and a poor install resulted in some wrinkles). I had a great experience from the sales (thanks Jeanne!) to the install crew. They were absolutely fantastic and really went out of their way for us. The end result in both rooms looked great and everything was complete in a very short amount of time.

If it wasnt for Jeanne, I would be out $172 or short changed on the floor planks I ordered. The installer came, measured and ordered 8 cartons of vinyl plank flooring he only used 6and 1/2 cartons. I asked him when the job was finished if there was anything left over. He claimed there was only 1/2 box. When I explained to Jeanne (the next day)that there had to be 1 full carton somewhere. She contacted Max and he happened to find the missing box! If Jeanne had not stepped up and confronted Max, I know I would have never received that last carton IT was in his van. Thank you Jeanne!!

They have a vibe that doesn’t want to help nor be bothered. I couldn’t even get the lady to turn around to look at the TV that displays rugs that are apparently all discontinued? Doesn’t make sense. She wouldn’t even figure out the designer of the rugs for Us. She just sat in her chair.The option they have for taking samples home is obnoxious. They give you gigantic heavy boards to lug around and they have the 8 different rug colors on the same side of the board.I gave them 2 star for their selection.

The workmen were wonderful, quiet and respectful of my home. They moved everything back, cleaned, and even helped me get the dust ruffles back under my mattresses. My one concern was my paint, just painted the week before. There are several spots I have to touch up and two places in my woodwork that were gouged. I will have to have them filled in and repainted. Luckily I have some touch up paint. All else went quickly-6 hours-and well. This is the third time I have used AJ Rose and I have recommended them to others.

AJ Rise did an amazing job from start to finish in replacing my mater bedroom carpet from the showroom, to the in-hone measurement, to removal and installation. The carpet looks amazing. It’s a large room and I was please to see that there are no seams! AJ Rose has so many Stryker and colors to choose from, devising was the hardest part of the project. I highly recommend using them and will be having them back to update my runners!

Everything from walking into AJ Rose in Burlington was excellent. The service at the store and I cannot say enough about Max the installer. Absolutely fabulous! Called to schedule appointment. Came on time, actually a little early, was very professional and explained everything and answered our questions. The day came he was again very punctual, professional, cleaned up and just a nice guy. I would recommend him and AJ Rose for your next project!

At the end of the day the carpets are installed and look great. But the process of getting there was hard. It seemed like I had to beg them to sell me carpets!! Not returning phone calls, giving minimal info in person at the store, and installation guys that don’t speak a word to you. Nita was rude from the second I stepped foot in the store to the argument we got in that made me cry, to the point that I switch from the Saugus location to the Burlington one bc I couldn’t work with her, but at that point rooms had been measured and carpet chosen so I didn’t want to start at the beginning with another store. Next time I will. I chose them bc they are a family run business according to their website, but I was treated like my money wasn’t good enough.

Larry was super efficient on the sales/ordering/scheduling side.Installation was professional, polite, clean, quick. Could not ask for better!! We are repeat customers.....Wouldnt go anywhere else.

I visited the AJ Rose showroom in Natick where Barry assisted me. He made my job as an interior designer easy! I explained what type of carpet my client was looking for. Barry listened and then showed me 3 or 4 types of carpet that he felt would best suit my clients needs. From these I made 3 selections to show my client- one of which she felt was perfect. The carpet was ordered in a timely manner, the installation was excellent. The carpet looks beautiful! Happy client! Happy me! May I add that their carpet and flooring selection is outstanding. Making a choice would be difficult if the staff was not so knowledgeable and attentive.

We were disappointed that the measurement of how much rug material was required for the job was determined incorrectly and we had to wait 10 days after the initial installation for the job to be completed. Otherwise, the installers were pleasant and responded to our requests that the seams needed additional work.
