We recently had a rehearsal dinner upstairs at The Coffee House. Everything was amazing. Everything was set up just as we had asked when we arrived to decorate. Tori was great and asked if we needed anything else set up and got us some extra serving dishes for our dessert table. The room was clean and set up perfectly. They kept checking on us while we decorated to see if we needed anything. Once our party started, they were very attentive. The food was amazing! We had the beef tips and delicious roasted veggies and potatoes. They kept a really good eye on the food and replenished the food as needed. They did a great job clearing the tables when we were finished eating. We had beer and wine in the room but our guests were able to go to the great bar if they wanted something else - very convenient! Bathrooms are great and close by. Highly recommend this venue for small private parties!

I loved the house latte and the toffee pecan blondie was really good! The staff were also very friendly with me as I tried to figure out what I wanted. Super cute spot to sit and sip coffee while doing school work. I’ve been looking at different coffee places lately and I’ll definitely be back here soon!

Bad coffee experience! Large Mocha half full, cup half full of foam, shots taste burnt and overall just a bad cup of coffee. I’ve been here a few dozen times and I am very disappointed. I will try again but likely not for a while.

I ordered a pumpkin spice Latte and gotta say it barely tasted like anything, it is the first time I go and I was just passing by on my way back hime in Chicago but I would suggest to make coffee a little more flavorful

Of the many coffee shops in Burlington, this is my favorite. They have monthly flavor specials, baked goods, and delicious food. The menu is small, but the offering are varied. The atmosphere is relaxed and there are plenty of seating options from outdoor, family-style, restaurant, and a cozy couch.

A noteworthy Americano. Delicious. Worn in neighborhood vibe -- in a good way. Plenty of comfortable chairs and tables.

Such a great place to go to! The servers are great and everyone is so friendly, especially Matt. His knowledge at the bar at the liars club is wonderful and hes so funny! Definitely makes it an enjoyable time. The drinks and food are to die for, 10/10, would recommend.

Fun, comfortable, casual atmosphere. Iced Americano was delicious. My wifes hot Americano also delicious. I had a pizza roll that was shaped like a cinnamon roll. That, too, was delicious.We were passing through. Another one of our coffee shop hops. This would be a great place to sit and write. I know I could write for hours here.If I have to pick on anything, the WiFi connection was unreliable. We sat as close to the front door as possible, so maybe this had something to do with it.If youre in the Burlington, WI area or plan to pass through, make sure you stop! Wed like to return soon.

This is a fun, relaxing coffee shop/cafe. Delicious coffee. Pleasant atmosphere.This pizza pocket was DELICIOUS! Tons of flavor. Lots of bacon. Tasty sauce. Right amount of cheese. Not too salty. All the flavors popped. And not expensive!This is a must-stop when you are in Burlington.

Great coffee. They serve Anodyne. Their daily food is excellent, but keep an eye open for their pop-ups. The pop-up meals are a phenomenal treat on a weekend.

Place was crowded. Its location is at a corner and the parking is free. My hang up is only that a discarded beverage had been left to drain in the restroom sink, which was very untidy.

This place is a fantastic alternative to Starbucks. Its more of a homey feel. A more slow paced coffee house. Food is good, coffee is good and they have a nice selection of beer and wine. Thursday night open mic is a great chance to hear some of the talented local artists. Other nights they feature good music as well.This is a great ☕ house.

I love this cafe. I always drove by it and always wanted to check it out. Glad I finally did, Its got a welcoming cozy vibe to it and its decorated quite lovely. Ive stayed here for hours curled up with a book and didnt feel pressured to leave at all, in fact, the owner asked me if I would like a refill as I was about to leave. She was very kind and explained the different coffees to me..My favorite drink to get is the Exotic Escape. I dont care how hot it is outside I still get it. If you like coconut then this is the drink for you.

This is my third visit to the coffee house and I love it. The atmosphere is trendy, comfortable and draws in young and old alike as well as families. It reminds me of the places in Chicagos Old Town in the 60s. Drinks are excellent as is the food. Staff is courteous. They have trivia night on Tuesdays, and other events throughout the month.

This is why I usually go to Starbucks. Waiting patiently for about 5 minutes with 2 toddlers. Finally my wife asks me to go check with the ‘barista’ to see if our drinks are ready yet. I see that our drinks have been sitting out for who knows how long. ZERO effort put into informing us that our orders were ready. At first I was shocked and then I remembered, THIS is why I stick with Starbucks. Consistent quality and customer service.P.S. The lattes we ordered were mediocre at best. McDonalds lattes are tastier without question.P.P.S. The one redeeming quality is the decor which was pretty cool.

The Coffee House at Chestnut & Pine is a coffee house, but also so much more. It is a venue for musicians and artists alike. Theres bakery to enjoy with whatever your favorite coffee preference is. For evenings with musical performances, tap and bottle beers are available. All this, just on the first floor.Upstairs is the Liars Club and at least two other rooms available as venues for weddings, parties, meetings or art showings.The atmosphere on either floor is both cozy and sophisticated. Respect for the older architecture fits well with a modern vibe.There is handicapped parking nearby, with elevator access to the second floor in addition to the stairs.Prices are reasonable and the staff are top shelf.

Absolutely enjoyed my evening. The coffee and food were great, staff was helpful and friendly, and music was awesome! The Liars Club up stairs was perfect for an after show drink and relaxing conversation time. Will definitely stop again when in the area.

The food here is very unimaginative and bland, theres not much to any of their menu items flavor or ingredient wise. The perception of breakfast displayed at this location is very skewed. They dont even have potatoes as an option... yall... come-on. I just really felt like this was a place that is too focused on the business side of things. Unfortunately the food feels unloved, which is pretty similar to how I felt as a customer as well. One of my guests needed to have her breakfast sliders with gluten free bread. This totally changed what you order, the sliders are stacked and then put between two pieces of limp, soggy, very depressed pieces of bread. I hate that my guest had to be treated different just because of an allergy. Plus we had to pay extra for less enjoyable experience.

I love coming to the coffee house, its how I treat myself to some quiet time, and to delicious goodies! I always get a bakery item to go with my well crafted coffee beverages, and the staff is sweet and pleasant. Its just my favorite getaway.

Coffee House did a splendid job for our rehearsal dinner and day-of brunch for our wedding. The upstairs event space was spacious, elegant and private enough for a large party. The food was prepared and presented before we even got to the place and was delicious! We can tell Coffee House takes great pride in their food.Carly the one who organizes events was both attentive and very responsive to all our needs and made planning so effortless.For the day-of brunch, they even came to deliver the food right to our getting ready location across the street. Would highly recommend for any event and especially for fellow Mercantile Hall brides looking for a rehearsal dinner location.

I really enjoy my visits here. The staff is friendly, the ambience is warm and sophisticated, the prices are reasonable and the offerings are unique. For a small place, they bring in some excellent musicians and charge little or nothing to see them. The open mic nights are fun and friendly and they are very welcoming and supportive of new participants. It has been a wonderful addition to the community.

Im a pretty big coffee drinker. Ive been to many coffee houses all over the country and have consumed more than enough coffee. With that said, I can confidently say that The Coffee House is tied for my favorite and best coffee house.Why do I give this place 5 stars? Ill keep it very brief and to the point... friendly staff, excellently brewed coffee and tea, great hangout spot, good food, and very clean.I will second the statement that this shop is absolutely one of the crown jewels of Burlington.If you are in the area, I recommend you stop here!

The ambiance of this place is so cute! It also seems like they have a lot of events, and are involved in the community. The food is incredible. They had four options for the quiche of the day, and I ended up getting a bacon, onion, Swiss quiche and it is so light, fluffy, and flavorful. It also tastes like it was made from scratch when I placed my order. The coffee is equally as delicious. Overall, the ambiance, product, and customer service was incredible. If I’m in the Burlington area again, I will be back!

Its hit or miss with their espresso drinks for me. Sometimes they are great and other times the espresso tastes almost burnt. It probably depends on who is making it?The food is great although Im a bit sad they did away with the chocolate croissant. It was amazing! My favorite now is probably the chocolate chip cookie or the lemon bars.

Probably some of the best flat bread Ive had in a few years. The coffee is really good, the staff is definitely the friendliest and nicest of any coffee shop Ive been to in a long time. I come to Burlington once a minute nth and this will be in my to do list every time Im in town. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting, passing by, or living in the area.

Love the atmosphere there! Great coffee and all the employees are so kind and friendly. And the people that come in there are kind as well! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice get together spot!

2021 update: twice now (more than a month apart) their pour over technique has worsened (they took several minutes, letting the water completely drain out multiple times while they attended to other tasks), resulting in over extracted cups. They’re also using an unforgiving brewing method (V60). Until they switch to another method (clever dripped, maybe, like Alderaan?), or invest time, attention and training into pour overs, you might as well just get their drip brew. Their baked goods and flavored drinks are still fun, though, so 4 stars, not 3.

The coffee is superb and the ambience for the baby shower I attended on the upper level was just perfect. The food served was delicious.

Great Coffee, great people, great atmosphere. This is by far the best coffee house around if not in my opinion ever! During the day they have great coffee, food, they also offer beer, and wine. If you have not been in to check this place out I highly recommend it. They also have live bands and open mic night that are a lot of fun. They are very involved with the community and have lots of activities that you should check out like The Tall Tales Festival.

Excellent customer service. Quite fast for how busy it is. I order the Sprinf Flower Latte and it is the best latte I have ever had. They are amazing there and I highly highly recommend trying it out!!!

Love the atmosphere. Have to review for specific experience. I hate to even say this but twice now Ive found (my son just yesterday 07/21) found massive hairs in our oatmeal and his tea...my son almost threw up...looking at this from the outside, with the global giant Starbucks about to open in town, Id be hammering down some consistentency. Also the coffee caddy has went through a dozen changes in a month and now all drinks are served without lids? So youve gotta run here and there and if theyre out try and get the attention of a worker to get one. Love it but wheres the QC and love from management?

This was a purely accidental discovery. I stopped in to ask for directions and everyone including the staff and customers were very friendly. I hadnt planned on it but I ended up getting a unique coffee drink and I will gladly return to spend more time there.

Ive come here multiple times and always have had great service with amazing food and drinks. Food and drinks always come quick with amazing flavor. I took my sister here and she fell in love with the place. Now its a must visit every time shes in town. CANT COMPLAIN!!!

I didn’t stay for very long, but that atmosphere was cozy. I had some food (I can’t remember what, but it was pretty good). They had live music, so it was a bit loud, but overall a good experience.

Great menu selection and atmosphere. Margherita flatbread had very fresh and tasty ingredients. I wasnt fond of the dressing that was drizzled over it. Almond bear claw very tasty, not overly sweet. Coffee also good!

I know this place has good reviews but I only sort of liked it. The breakfast flatbread was only ok at best. Same thing with the latte. The atmosphere is really cool, definitely a nice vibe and lots of neat seating space. Food was par but maybe other food there is better.

A gorgeous, large space with delicious coffee and drinks. Its just as nice for your morning coffee or some live music at night. They also have an extremely nice event space that my family has had wedding and baby showers at.The Coffee House is great for relaxing with coffee and a book or even music.

Its a really cool spot to hang out in. Theres live music pretty regularly and the lattes are good. Theres nice tall ceilings and plenty of seating. Its just a really pretty building.

Just cant say enough good things about this place. Delicious food, wide variety of drinks, local artwork featured on the walls, great atmosphere for socializing or getting some work done. The biggest reason I like to support this business, though, is that they invest in our community by providing a venue for things like student performances, the annual Tall Tales Festival with great music and workshops (free admission), purchase-with-a-purpose nights to help groups fundraise, and they participate in local Chamber of Commerce events. I like knowing that my purchases contribute to a business that values my city and its residents.

Awesome bakery made on site, great coffee, and staff is so friendly! This place has so much to offer, from music regularly, to a great food menu, and even private event space. So happy they are in Burlington!

Decided to take visitors from England here because of the great reviews. Wow what a mistake. We all thought the place was decorated nicely and looked forward to a great meal. All our meals were microwaved to levels if volcanic lava. My first bite of the breakfast slider ended up back on the plate in a very embarrassing spit out moment. The sausage patty was a lip blistering projectile. The only way to get it this hot is a supercharged microwave on steroids. One of my guests ordered a regular BLT. It also was nuked beyond recognition and inedible for 5 minutes. Who microwaves BLTs. If you want nuked pre-made food, this is your place. My guests were unfortunately not impressed.
