When I walked in they had zero customers and 10 minutes before their lunch break. I only needed a drug test, they give you 4 minutes max in the restroom, their next customer wouldn’t be showing up until half a hour after they came back from lunch. They turned me away because they wanted to go to lunch. When I got to the counter it there was 3 or so people just standing around talking. I understand perspective is everything and it’s possible it was work related and I’m unsure how much work actually goes into testing urine. But I got turned away for an early lunch break. This is hard times. People need jobs, this is unacceptable.

The staff is verry friendly but as for the program i can say its needing some improvement and a little more structure, the groups were a joke, the program helped me none, maybe it was just me but theres people who will agree with me

I spent a little over 60 days at the facility. I loved the aids that monitored us for inpatient and made sure we were doing what we were supposed to and following schedule and helping us. The inpatient counselors rely on paper packets instead if actual therapy to help you get sober so it seems they are not all that interested. The program itself is not that great but it has lead to me being sober for the last 7 months. However the only reason is because of the tools, coping skills, and support that my outpatient facility has given to me. They also have major financial issues to the point that the clients arent allowed to interact with the real world while youre there. They lock client bathrooms during the day as well as our rooms. After 6am we are forced to be around each other for the next 16 hours. Spending 16 hours cooped up with the same 20 people in a space ideally more fit for 10 also causes a lot of stress and tension between clients and staff. They only allow you to speak to family and friends certain days of the week. This is not ok as it is crucial to the clients to be able to build a strong support team on the outside for when they get done with program. The only thing that made this place ok was a couple of the staff members that have been terminated from ADDS. At the end of the day all they care about is their successful turnover rate and not dedicated individual care catered to each persons specific needs. The lack of organization in this facility is readily apparent as the staff does not keep up on whats going on with the inpatient services and rely on clients to tell them information they should already know. This results in them taking on clients without knowing where they have a bed at or even what their drug of choice is sometimes. I went in for an opiate addiction and the whole time they were trying to counsel me about meth use because they did not listen to my needs and entered misinformation into their system. Im not the only client who was being forced to follow a recovery plan that has nothing to do with the reason were there. They also favor alcoholics. They force every single person there for drugs to stay 60 days minimum but I never once seen an alcoholic stay more than 30 days even though they needed it. I often heard counslers and staff tell the alcoholics you dont need to be here. You shouldnt be here. Again the lack of consistency and organization is readily apparent.

They push you til you walk out! They take your food stamps and dont return the balance to you so you go hungry the rest of the month after you leave! They are the most uncaring facility I have ever had a family member at! In the 30 plus days my family member was there at least 8 people left due to staff! Mine left due to staff! They wanted to take away a gals graduation because she had a migraine! This place is a disgrace and needs a whole new staff

The inpatient program sucked, poor staff that would be better off working at the jail. I walked out after 2 days. I then went to country oaks in Davenport. They have 5 star program, and I have been sober ever since.
