Took Chevy truck in knowing exactly what was wrong. Told them that was all I needed done. Finally after 4 days of not hearing a word I called. Right if the top of the conversation I was lies to. They said they called. I left 2 contact numbers and neither line received a call. So as the conversation persisted he tried to tell me it was $800 worth of work. Now I know for a fact the job itself was only $230 parts and labor because I took it else where. This is not the only time they tried scamming people either. My mother in law was told she needed a new gas tank when she was simply just out of gas. There is no absolute way I will ever take a vehicle there again not will I refer even my worst enemy.

These guys are so sweet and helped me out. I thank them for not treating me like I was stupid.

This is the only place I will go to get my car fixed. Every time I go they are professional, knowledgeable, and fast. Their prices are competitive, and most of the time cheaper. They just fixed my muffler and I cant even tell if the car is running. Its so quiet!

Took my car in for a quote originally was quoted $50 for full diagnostic testing Scott came back with very vague reports on what needed to be done when I refused the quote to earn my business. Scott them proceeded to use high pressure sales tactics by telling me he already put the parts on my car to try and force me into this service which is illegal to do without authorization from me . Then he claimed the diagnostic cost was $75 which he claimed previously was going to be $50 I denied that price told them them I’d pick up my car tomorrow morning.While having parent pick up my car they tried to once again up charge me too $100 for the diagnostic testBe careful while doing business with this shop my vehicle came back running worse than when I brought it in after such dishonest experience with a company who’s supposed to be providing a valuable service I’d never trust them again with a vehicle and would not recommend them whatsoever!

I took my vehicle there to be serviced.I was told that I needed a catalytic converter however, when it was checked I was shown that it was in fact my exhaust (muffler). Mike (one of the mechanics) showed me where the noise and leak was coming from cleared the engine light.What was quoted $2500.00 ended up WAY less than that!! Im so thankful for honest mechanics!!Especially those that look out for women!!

I took my car here for my oil leaking from my oil pan just to have a second opinion done before getting it fixed.i have never had issues with over heating and drive my car all over the country. Got my vehicle back it has been parked for a few days took my car out today and after 20 minutes of driving my vehicles now over heating and my head gaskets are probably blown now thanks muffler man for charging me $50 bucks after break my water pump. Which Ive not even lost water at all in my car my car has never even slightly over heated prior to taking it to him for an oil leak which I had already had diagnosed i just needed a second opinion apparently because Im a female they took advantage of me and decided they would try and charge me 500 dollars to fix a water pump that they broke!!!!

Had good service before.This time, oil change. Employees told me the oil cap was never put back on from last time oil was put in. Thats a lie, I always put my cap back on. The oil they where talking about wasnt from the oil cap, the valve cover gasket is bad. I said nothing because these quacks always think theyre right, theyll fight you for righteousness.I didnt ask for thier lie, I asked for an oil change. Then they put me down with thier oil cap shin-dig.You think Ill give them props and send people there? ROLMBO, wrong....Ill send my people to a different MufflerMan

Went in for an oil change and the lubes guy broke my transmission lines. They tried telling me its just something that happens to my type of vehicle. I had no trans fluid down my car or in parking lot until they took it in and broke them removing the oil filter. I was charged for oil change and for them to put new lines on. Definitely do not reccomend going to muffler man on davison road.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I am not someone who gives a bad review unless it is really warranted. This place is one to stay away from at all costs. They are nothing but a bunch of cooks there. Your car will come out with more problems than it had going in. They will charge you for parts that they dont put on, theyll get your bad ones working temporarily. Just long enough that it doesnt come back on them. It is very hard to find a mechanic these days, and this shop is everything you should steer clear of when choosing one. Its shocking to me that this place stays open.

Seriously the worst service ever!! The guys in there are in such a hurry theyre not even listening! I went in for an oil change, and it says on the oil cap as well as on the previous oil sticker to use synthetic 5W30! What did they use? Regular, 10W30! And when I mentioned it to the guy, he said thats all this guy does! He knows what hes doing! I will never be back!

Would not go there for anything except a 20.00 oil change.Do not listen to anything or let them try to tack any additional service/product on to your bill.For instance; I had a fuel line leak on my 07 Chevrolet Cobalt and to replace the fuel line they charged me $250 for LESS THAN SIX FEET of 1/4 rubber/plastic vinyl tubing connected from one end to the other ZIPTIED TO THE OLD FUEL LINE.Second instance; I had a clogged catillitic converter on a 07 Pontiac Grand Prix.I bought a new catillitic converter online and took said part to this muffler man and asked them to cut off the clogged converter and weld on the other.The mechanic on shift the called me into the bay to tell me I wasted my money on the part and that it was most likely not what was wrong with the car.He said I most likely need a whole new exhaust/muffler or a new transmission which that started around $400-$800I then proceeded to take the grand prix and converter to the muffler man on the corner of Pierson and Jennings.The mechanic on shift there was more than happy to ONLY CHARGE ME $50 to simply cut off the clogged converter and replace it with the one I bought online. Took care of the problem immediately and my car ran good as new afterward.Would not recommend servicing here. Take to a different shop.

Theyve always been honest with me about what my car needed. A few times, I left without anything being done because they told me the repairs could wait for a while.They are very knowledgeable and fairly priced that they have a bit of a line of cars ahead of you. If you need something done, then take it here and make sure you have time to pick it up later.

I highly recommend this facility. After having spent $1200 at a so called repair shop, my emission light was still on! I took my vehicle to this Muffler Man by recommendation from a close friend. I spoke with Dave and my vehicle was done the same day with no more exhaust fumes from a nonfunctional vent valve!Don’t waste your time or money going somewhere else!I learned my lesson and I cannot say enough about this facility and the professional employees!!!Thank you so very much!You are the BEST!!! 👍👍👍

Horrible place to take your car! They told me my car would cost 600$ to repair, 5 days later they call and tell me my car is ready and it cost 1500. The guy said it was in his notes that they called and told him it would be over double the price, which was a complete lie, the only thing they called to say was they needed another key for the car. Never again will I go to this muffler man where they lie and have horrible customer service.

I LOVE this Muffler Man location. Going to an auto place can be tough if you dont know about car repairs. This place is very honest and competitive pricing. They dont push extras or uneeded repairs. Its popular, so be prepared to wait a bit or drop off your car and come back. The waiting area has a TV.

Been using these guys for a while. If you want your car fixed the right way or want a warranty upheld these guys are honest and get the job done. Ive gotta control arms, rack and pinion, trans rebuild, engine accessories, these guys do everything. Just wish they would do my cam because I know it would be done correctly.

Got my full service oil change here last week and every since my car has been messing up. I was strained with no coolant just 2 days after getting this service. Called them on Monday and they said it has to be leaking but its not. They told me to bring it back in Wednesday or Thursday so i did and they tell me they dont have time to look at it. They are the reason it needs to be looked at but yet they couldnt figure out what the hell is wrong with my vehicle!? I will never go back to this place and i wont tell others to take their car here either. Horrible customer service!

I get my vehicle fixed here quite often. They always seem to be really affordable, and fast. I love the fact they are willing to work with your own parts and always give you a detailed quote before working on it. Seem to be really friendly, honest, caring guys.

Went to get my crank sensor relearned everything was good except when I got back in my truck and the guy spilled my coffee everywhere didnt even try to clean it dont even know how a cup can go from in the cup holder to sideways almost impossible

The place was clean and had fast service i bought 4 new tires and they had them put on and balanced and i was in and out in 30 mins. Prices are fare the waiting room chairs are vary comfortable almost lile sitting on a cloud. Would recommend to anyone.

Five stars are definitely earned, these folks are flexible and willing to work with you,( Bring your own parts from Million parts warehouse and save the usual double charge for parts all shops charge) Prices are right on the money or better than most, and Ive never had to return anyting for faulty work.

I had a 2006 Saturn Ion Ver#3 and they did a wonderful job, I told them I didnt have a whole lot of money and my exhaust had broken in half at the middle and I just had a pipe that went midway to the front seat. It cost me about $300 a little less but if you had a bigger vehicle like a truck with bigger pipe or muffler and would probably be just a little more but the most expensive thing on the whole list wasnt labor or the brand new pipe that they gave me from the manifold of my engine all the way back but it was the muffler itself there was $115 out of the $300! I suggest going to this particular muffler man as they really do work with you and these covid-19 times. they offer no contact service and they have a baggie on their hand every time they take someones credit card or money. so youre safe if you go there. Muffler man cares about the safety of its patrons! Check it out over on East Court Street in Burton.

Went there a few weeks ago for a quote. They are $200 more than everyone else that is in a 10 mile radius.

I feel they really charged to much to get my brakes fixed. Then told me for another $250.00 they could do the back brakes. I took my 2002 Saturn to another place. They told me would replace leaking wheel cylinder, and bled the brakes.

The people at the front desk were very courteous and helpful. My car was abled to get examed in 30 minutes, even with a full parking lot. The man who diagnosed my car, Rick was extremely patient and well-spoken. He was able to explain my issue in a way I understood.Plus, they didnt charge me to take a look at it.

Ive been to many repair shops in the past. Whether its with my personal vehicles or with my big truck for work, many of these shops left me feeling suspicious about the needed repairs. I dont like that feeling of thinking Ive been screwed over. But here at Muffler Man(Als Service Center) in Burton, I havent had that feeling here and I hope I never do. If it continues to remain that way, Muffler Man will get all my business.

DO NOT bring your automobile here. Rude employees and shoddy work. Had engine replaced and have had nothing but problems since. Found radiator fan free floating in engine compartment days after return. They got some kind of chemical stain all over the front of my car and I had to repaint the grill piece. My car is no Lamborghini but having paid nearly two grand for the fix I expected it to be done right. Started making strange noise about 25 days into their whopping 30 day warranty. Due to the fact that it was work they would not be paid for, they told me they would check my car out next... I waited 3 hours and watched about 15 customers come and go. They never acknowledged me being there so long or even looked at my car. If they give you a decent price they WILL try to pull a fast one on you and raise it upon pick up. I strongly recommend going ANYWHERE else.

I took my car here and it took 3 times of towing it here to get fixed. The first time they didnt finish the job so the second time they said it was something else and charged me over $500 and i brought vehicle home and it still didnt run. Towed it back, they realized they missed wiring and finally fixed it. Almost a 2 week process to get it fixed right. I DO NOT suggest going here...especially if you are a single mom like me who is short on funds and you need your vehicle to go to work. Im very disappointed. This whole situation had me extremely stressed. They dont care about their customers. They just want your money and they make up lies. :( im praying for their souls. May God forgive them for lying and taking advantage of their customers. Im not sure how they sleep at night.
