Smaller store but clean, well organized and we love the staff. Has a Salon and a Sephora, super convenient. Small mall attached with Movie theater, excellent Mexican restaurant and pet supply store.

There were lots of good deals and discounts and the cashier was very nice and answered all our questions

The shopping and deals were good 👍. They closed the door to the main mall, so we had to go back out to shop at the other stores in the mall.The bathroom was dirty and needed to be cleaned. If it wasnt for that I would have given more stars. The staff was friendly and the sales were great 👍. I will go back and shop again but may think twice about using the restrooms

The store was clean. All employees wore mask to help prevent covid19. They were all very knowledgeable and took care of my needs. Its my favorite store. Thank you Theresa. You are one of the nicest employees Ive come across when shopping

Nice clearance sales going on right now, got some summer clothes for my disney trip.

Everyone here has been friendly to me, I like that it isnt very busy....peaceful really. The selection is a little smaller, but will have most of what every JCP store has.

It was pretty empty that day so shopping was easy. Apparently very easy, I purchased way more than I planned. Great buys with sales and even better on the clearance racks.

I had an emergency and needed clothes for work. Very nice store. Definitely will spend a lot more. I dont remember it being so expensive.

Great place to shop.

Went in looking for a bra. No one was working that department and the fitting rooms were closed. Tried for 5 minutes to get help and when I finally did she did try to help but wasnt every effective. To be fair alone of businesses are having staffing problems in this area right now.

Same Penneys as always. Was very busy but that was 4 days before Christmas. My sister had an order to pickup and only one customer at desk, had over 400.00 in returns and then he was allowed to have his multitude of purchases rung up, while a line was forming behind us. Very irritating with covid-19, but they were pleasant about the wait.

My daughter had a photoshoot today at the Jc penny photography store and i was amazed on how good our photographer Stephanie was with my 2 year old daughter. My daughter was calm with her and comfortable. She got some really good shots of my baby girl. Just amazing! Im so happy!

The lady that was our cashier was so sweet kind and patient. Hardly something you find in retail today. I was with my elderly parents, my mom in a wheelchair and my dad was doing the shopping. She helped him open a Pennys charge, get him set up on the rewards program and then helped him make the payment to his charge after the transaction. She was genuinely helpful. Very much appreciated!

Gennesse valley in flint mi store experience was aweful. The younger lady in the shoe dept acted like she didnt even want to be bothered. Soon as she answered our question she bolted. Apparently some of the staff need better training on customer service.. The place was a mess! I left and went to the courtland center location in Burton. The older lady that worked their in the shoe dept was amazing. She was so pleasant and eager to help me. The Burton Jcpenney location deserves the 5 stars.

You can always find that perfect dress for that special occasion at a reasonable price at Pennys.Years ago, I purchased my bridesmaids dresses from Pennys. This past weekend, my daughters first homecoming dress.

I love JCPenny. I have been going there since I was a child with my mom. She used to get the books sent to the house & I would circle things in the magazine. I was just there not long ago with my boyfriend, we were looking for lingerie & they didn’t really have anything. I was surprised that there wasn’t a big selection & we were disappointed actually. I’ve seen more lingerie at Walmart.

Wow what a friendly and nice store. The cashiers were very nice and helpful. I would rate this at one of my top 5 customer service experience. Our cashier, Tirara was super friendly and very helpful. Her supervisor was also great. They were both great.

I used to LOVE JCP. I still have good experiences they are the people are always nice and friendly and I usually find something that I want and like. But the clothing has definitely changed and they dont really carry a whole lot of things that are for me anymore. The search has gotten harder. Otherwise I would have gave it a five-star

I wanted to get a simple haircut. The sign said walkins welcome!! What a joke!! As I approached the counter there were three women behind the counter. I told them I would like a hair cut. They looked at me and told me that a girl was to make a decision on her hair. The mom and girl could not decide on what she wanted while I stood there and waited for them to help me. Did it really have to include as all three women to wait on this decisionI really would have liked to feel like I was important all and so was my time. I just walked away. I didnt need to wait on them to make a decision and feel like I was less important. Maybe they just want to wait on people who will make them more money

Ive never had a problem in the store, but weve made several orders online and picked them up at the store, and every single order, weve had some kind of problem with. Theyve given us some items we didnt order instead of what we did, the status updates havent always been available, and they never text us when our order is ready, even though we signed up for text alerts.

Bought our wedding rings here, several years ago in the fine jewelry department also got the lifetime warranty for our rings.my husbands ring has broke several times and they have always fixed it with no problem. Staff is always very friendly and helpful.

I got a little bit of a weird look when I walked up to the first person I saw and asked where the womens bras were at. Then the lady saw my elderly mom rolling up to me with her walker and directed me straight to the nearest fitting room. The woman working there took care if us right away. She helped measure my mom and went and grabbed bras for her to try on and helped her with it. I feel bad that I dont remember her name because she was a hero for me that day. 0901 is the employee ID number on my reciept. I hope she sees this and knows how much it meant to me for all her help. Above and beyond. I give these workers an A+ with extra credit on top. Thanks!

I went here to get my hair done And it was the worst experience ever. $95 later the lady charged me for a full head of highlights and missed half my hair not to mention how ghetto they were. Talking about being at school with people who smoked crack and getting arrested. I understand that stuff happens but dont advertise it in a professional situation please. Then they were Talking about the other client that walked in behind his back because neither of them wanted to help him detangle his hair and I could hear everything as if I wasnt even there. I also had a friend come with me. The entire salon was empty except the 2 chairs and they didnt even offer to let her sit next to me. NEVER AGAIN. I cant believe I even payed for this. A box color would be better than this. Too bad I even had to give 1 star to rate this place.

J.C. Pennys had very nice sells on everything in the store. And extra discounts on already discounted prices. Checkout counters were set up very well to handle the long line. Very good shopping experience!

Good shoes and prices but the online availability of sizes are lieing. They had shoes that fit even though the staff only said hello after Id found what I needed.

I went in there last Saturday. The quantity was low n there was no one at the fitting rooms. I was looking at some jeans on a table. I picked them up n there was a lot I mean a lot of snatched off price tags stuck in the back pocket of the jeans. I think this explains why their stores are suffering at least in genesee valley anyway.

Best place I have found for mens clothing with great prices.

Its hard enough getting around in there and being disabled. The cash registers are very hard to find and its also hard to find someone to assist you with anything. There are hardly any prices on anything either. this JCPenneys also looks like its going out of business, and with the way theyre conducting business I can see why. I dont care what kind of bargains they might have for going out of business, I will never go there again!

Pennys is not what it use to be. L Pennys had quality merchandise in the sixties and early seventies. Most of there merchandise now, is cheap merchandise coming from China. Our country use to get quality goods from Brazil, Spain, Japan, Italy, Portugal, etc. What happened to quality?
