Knowledgeable, excellent service, variety of products available. Conveniently located. One stop shop for future need or hard to find bolts and screws in Genesee county. Good local store. They sell all kinds of fasteners. I was looking for some oddball metric nuts and they had them. The employees are friendly and helpful. They also sell tools, Loctite products and other industrial supplies. I highly recommend them for all your fastener needs.

Mid States is ok. My situation is that I have an older ( read: non big-box) house that from time to time needs some odd piece of hardware. O R . . My spouse comes up with an (IMO) cockamamie idea to fix/finish something around the house. Mid State never has whatever the thingy is that think I want, but they do have something he wants. This time it was metal wall buttons . . No way unless I order a thousand. They DO have translucent Mollie anchors though . .so yay! I guess I have a specialty mindset in sort of a big box world . . Oh well.

I had a vastly different experience than others. I went in with a list of material, and the old guy at the front desk helped me as little as possible. Before going in, I expected to leave with all the fasteners I needed for my project and I left with nothing. Im sure they have the materials; they just dont have the time or ambition to find them.This is why retail is dying. I can get all of these items online, but I wanted to talk through the options with a knowledgable salesman. This guy didnt care. The store might as well have a kiosk to order bolts.Dont go here. Shop online so you dont have to deal with these people.

They were able to find me a wall anchor to use for the installation of the barn door in my home. They took the time to make sure that I was getting the units that I needed to complete the job.

Just stopped by here the other day, This facility has an awesome lineup of construction accessories and more!!! . You can phone your order in ahead of time, or just show up in person, either way I found them fast and knowledgeable. If you like to haggle on prices, this is the place to go, ask for Matt, he always gives in. And yes, you can tell him I sent you, LOL.

Mid-States was so kind and accommodating to me when I was in there and they had exactly what I needed - custom fit crib screws that I couldnt find anywhere else! We were in a pinch and needed them that day and although they were about to close for the day they came through for us! Thank you for being awesome, Mid-States!!!

Went in there asking for a tap to chase threads on a bike ask simply need tap chase threads for spark plug. tap they gave me the wrong size can literally put plug in and out of the hole by hand since this is a spark plug and not just a bolt hole it has to go to dealership to be fixed thanks for nothing overpriced tap Harbor Freight Tools is looking better and better all the time

These guys have everything you might need dont run all over town looking for a random Bolt. Just come here and the friendly staff will help you out and get you on your way to finishing that project.

I ordered a tap was told it would take 4 to 5 days to get. On 5th day I called to see if it had come in. They had never ordered it. When I asked why I was told that I had to pay for it before they would order it. When I placed this order the clerk never asked for payment. When I explained this to the manager he promptly called me a LIER !!!! Its a one & haft hour round trip for me to get to their store and back. I would not have had a problem paying in advance for a $35.00 tap I have spent a lot of money at mid state over the years .NEVER AGAIN !!
