I took in a elk and a deer, upon picking them up, I am very disappointed in the yield that was returned. My back straps on the elk ( which are three feet long) I was given 5 small packages, they gave me 43 lbs of burger, 6 small packs of stew meat. There is either a missing box of meat or they turn way to much in to burger. I feel not all my meat was returned I will not be a return customer .
Excellent butchers. Take extreme care of your harvest and look to maximize return on kill. Kielbasas are second to none! Turn around time is fantastic even during their busiest times of the season. Great selection at a realistic price. Their in house meat is also 5 ⭐️ worthy, many excellent cuts and prepared meats ready to pickup any time. Trust this business to keep your freezer full and grill happy!
The bacon that they get here is so delicious!!! Staff very helpful and very friendly - good folk!!
The Terminal shows the true essence of a heart-filled hometown business. Chris is the kindest and most welcoming gentleman anyone could ask to encounter. All of the guys have been polite, genuine, and accommodating. Each time I’ve been in, I leave with the happiest feeling and a sense of restored faith in humanity. Not to mention, their products are perfection, their prices very reasonable, and their attitudes unbeatable!
I brought an elk into Terminal Foods with easy instructions of what I wanted:Hind quarters—Top round steaks, sirloin tip steaks, bottom round roasts, leave eye round whole, sirloin football roasts, everything else steaks and bone in shanks; and for the front quarters—flat iron steaks and whatever can be salvaged turn it into burger. When I got it back, I got 1 small roast, 4 steaks, the shanks (which werent real roastable shanks from the knee down. They just sawed off the lower half of the legs, which are basically for your dog) and the other 90% of it was made into hamburger! They tried to say it was because the front quarters were shot up, which doesn’t make much sense; because nearly all of what I mentioned is from the hind quarters. Thankfully I kept the backstraps and tenderloins, or they probably would have thrown those into the grind too!I called them about this, and they claimed that my tag along with the instructions I gave them was with the meat, but it wasn’t. So there’s no way to find out why 90% steaks was interpreted as 90% hamburger. Also, when I asked how much it was on the phone, I was told $0.75 a pound and thats it. After it was done, they threw in a boning charge after the fact, rather than mentioning it up front.Poor business. Poor customer service. These people clearly don’t know what they’re doing. The least they could do is give me my money back for ruining the harvest, but they refused. Very disappointing all around.
Brought in a deer to have processed here. Down to earth guys who did an amazing job. Great pricing and quick turnaround. Thank you very much, I highly recommend to anyone who wants it done right.
Exceptional service, meat products and more.
