Why buy inferior, altered meats from who knows where in the grocery store when you can have superior, locally raised, meat??? Also a great supply of seasonings and sides. I cook often and so long as I am in Montana, I will not buy meat anywhere else. Simply the best

Best Wild Game Sausage in Western USA Period! Ive been sending my stuff there from Western Washington for a couple decades. Was introduced to Western Meat Block while family was attending Montana Tech. Will never send my wild game anywhere else no matter where I live.

This is a great place to buy meat. They sell in bulk so you can actually fill the freezers. The meat is local and fresh. The store makes a variety of other foods but the beef is on point. Im thankful for this place.

Have been buying beef there for years, Wednesday I purchased 4 ribeyes, only 1 could be eaten. The other three could not even chew. Very disappointing, since this is first time I have gotten a bad cut of beef.

I live in Helena but make sure I come here as often as possible. Everything is good but we especially like the stuffed pork chops and stuffed chicken breast. Throw it on the grill and you have dinner and a meal for the next day. The staff is friendly. This is a MUST STOP in Butte.

I sample butchers across the State. This is the best meat shop in MT. *Breakfast Sausage * Seasoned Ribeye and New York, *Stuffed Pork Chop, *Flanken Cut Ribs, sausages, continue..... They cut me a 15LB Brisket, and were happy to do it. Great Place

Good meat, fair price. But they force their liberal mask agenda & require masks to be worn even with medical conditions. A shame but I will no longer spend my money here.

Wonderful little shop that sells various types and cuts of meat. Staff at the meat counter are very knowledgeable and helpful. They also sell homemade raviolis, totellini, and gnocchi, various cheeses and pasties. The shop is clean and welcoming. The staff is friendly. I met Diane behind the counter the day that I was there. Lovely lady, enjoyed chatting with her as I checked out. I am not a local. I come to Butte once a year from Chicago, to visit family. A stop to the Meat Block is essential as I have become addicted to their chocolate covered cinnamon gummy bears. I always buy a supply to take back home with me. A great little store. I would definitely recommend stopping by.

Whenever we visit our cousins in Butte, we always stop in to get red hotdogs, hot links, bacon and whatever else we may need. They have the best products around and extremely friendly and knowledgeable about each of the products. We look forward to return trips but if we cannot make it we put in an order for when that cousins head this way.

The guys behind the meat counter are awesome, but they need a number system so rude people dont just walk up and cut in front of other people that have been waiting.

Everything is incredibly priced, and the tastes are well worth what you pay. All of the staff goes out of their way to help in any way. They also are very knowledgeable. They have a seasoning to die for. I dont, and wont buy meat anywhere else.

We love your shop for the most part, except for the fact that the tenderness of the meat runs hot and cold. We buy the better cuts [ Rib steaks, bacon wrapped bar-be-que] etc..We have been so disappointed in our last purchases,that we most likely will not be back. We have spent a lot of money there in the three years that we have lived here, but we cannot just come in and buy bacon, hamburger, and sausage. We love our steaks so hopefully we will find another source for quality beef. Sorry to let you know this..Thanks.

Second time I ordered prime rib boneless with their seasonings. I use a digital meat thermometer so I can cook it to the desired temperature. Both were tough and way tough and way too much fat. I wouldnt buy this product there again!

Got my first elk and took it there it was deboned skinned and everything before we got there I asked for back straps and steaks and they turned all 220 lbs of the elk into burger

The quality and service is good . But when ordering a bundle package I strongly suggest verify the contents of the bundle i have been shorted twice. When i call in they tell me its not possible of being short and have not been reimbursed .

Western Meat Block has the best polish sausage in the US. We have been eating it since they opened in the 1980s. We still order the sausage even though we now live in Edmonds, Washington.
