At first I thought the prices were a little high but once I got my breakfast sandwich I understood why. The English Muffin wasnt like anything Id ever had: thick, crusty and flavorful, and the egg and ham were perfectly prepared. I was tempted to buy some of the muffins to take home but Im not sure theyd survive the 4 day drive back.Service was fast and friendly. Would have preferred some place to charge my laptop but this doesnt appear to be the kind of place one could work for a few hours, more like a place to sit on the patio and enjoy a light brunch.Will try to get back before I leave town.

Five Stars for the best sandwich I ever ate! (Capresse Sandwich) ! Can’t wait to go back to taste the French Dip. Little pricey but it definitely worth it!

I live near this cute little bakery in Ventura - so mom and I decided to take Divot for a walk to the new one here in Cam. We ordered breakfast sandwiches and they are AMAZING! Divot even liked eating the fruit that came with it. Their prices are a little high but the quality and the good feels supporting local businesses makes it worth it! They even sale day old pastries. YUM!

Ficelle has the best croissants in town. The food is delicious and the coffee is excellent. I recently had the croque madame and I loved it! The service is top notch too.

As soon as I walked in, I felt like I was in France with the true French bakery fresh bread and croissant aroma. Variety of different pastries, coffee and more. This is located in Old Town. Because of the current pandemic, didnt have time for a proper dine in to enjoy this place. Had to order to to go but will definitely stop by sometime for a dine in. Overall loved the cafe with friendly staff and barrister.

Ive been coming here at a couple times a month and I wish they had a rewards program! I get the mango in uji drink every time; it is so good! I normally get 100% sweetness and less ice. It tastes like mango milk with some matcha taste. There is some seating outside and spray/paper towels to wipe down tables and chairs with.

Much smaller than its Ventura counterpart, but big on cute. Mocha was smooth (beans by Verve Coffee Roasters). Servers were courteous and knowledgeable. Camarillo needs this place.

Had a lovely breakfast here! So happy to see small coffeeshops coming to town. The food was excellent, my personal favorite was the Croque Madame. 10/10 would recommend.

If you price a pain ou chocolate at 5$ + you should know the difference between pain and croissants. Also, it was friable like an old piece of bread. Taste wasnt better. Aweful. Expensive and low quality. Terrible.

We stumbled on this place, and are so glad we did. The service was friendly and efficient, and everything we had was delicious. There were so many things in the case and on the menu that we want to try. Will definitely be back when in the area.

Normally, Id try to find something close to the outlets stores. A traffic jam made me seek somewhere to hang out for a bit - and Cafe Ficelle fit the bill perfectly. Amazing espresso-based products. I may have had more than one while exploring this side of the town.Can definitely recommend the cappuccinos!

I cant say enough good things about Cafe Ficelle! We really needed a place nearby that combined really good coffee with delicious pastries and treats. The Guatemalan pour over I had was perfectly extracted for my taste and the latte was very good as well. The croissant really shines, and is on par with what you could find in France. Satisfyingly crunchy on the outside, and exceptionally soft and chewy on the inside, with a refined buttery flavor. With soft jazz playing above me I studied here for a few hours and came away impressed with Cafe Ficelle.

I have yet to grab a bite at Cafe Ficelle that I do not love. Each and every pastry is not only delicious, it is beautiful too. I have never tasted a better cafe latte than I do here. I often buy a french baguette and dip pieces with my coffee. My favorite pastry is the Kouign-amann - a flaky, buttery, sweet pastry. Make sure you get there early if you want one of these because, since everything is freshly baked, the cafe does run out of pastries from time to time.

Best waffles and service in town. Friendly staff treat you courteously, and the food is some of the best camarillo has to offer.

Hit or miss. The bread is amazing, but the serving size is small and they REALLY hold back on ingredients. Had the crossant which should come with bell pepper, but only had ONE tiny slice. They also served the wrong type of egg and when I pointed it out, the server said, ummm, do you not want it, I can take it back? So awkward, maybe you could just offer to swap the egg? I was super polite and dont like to make trouble, so probably would have not swapped but it would have been nice for them to offer... My husband and I also forgot to specify we wanted the food warm... It was like they made it and left it on the counter for a half hour, so sad 😭

Variety is needed with their sweets. We need a bakery with better prices and more variety so you dont go in and just buy one. Your croissants can be over baked at times, consider making custard, cheese, cherry, apple, etc.. so we dont have to drive to either Solvang or Portos. We need more. Dont get me wrong, I like your baked goods, but missing the catch with variety. I rather gift a box of baked goods than a box of donuts.

I was a little underwhelmed with cafe ficelle.The overall menu looked interesting. And the food presentation was good. However, the taste of the food was mediocre at best.We ordered the avocado toast. It looked delicious. The toast can only he described as tooth-breaker crunchy. It had a red spread which tasted very similar to a shrimp cocktail sauce and over-powered the avocado.We also ordered the coque madame (pictured). It also looked very nice. It was better than the aforementioned toast. Egg, ham and cheese on bread.Both plates came with a fruit salad. It was topped with some berries, but the bottom 3/4ths of the fruit cup was honeydew and cantaloupe.The banana and nutella crepe was good... something worth returning for. The bananas were coated with sugar and gently flambayed.Finally, price for iced tea was high enough to warrant a free refill, but they dont offer free refills. Had to settle for the offered iced tap water.

BEST.CROISSANT.EVER.Id add a photo but I always eat it before I remember. Their patio is lovely (both locations) and is a great way to start the day with a BEAUTIFUL pastry and coffee drink.

Great place for coffee. Had the chicken with Maple syrup crepe today. Tasted really good though crepe could have been cooked a little more and came cold with the chicken just warm in the middle. Probably because the food was left on counter too long before being it to me. We were the only people in the cafe at the time.
